10.12.23 A Trip to the ER, Abraham's Test of Faith 

I am 43 years RN. He needs an internal medicine specialist to be primary care doctor and give referrals to other specialists. GI doctors are the correct doctor for the liver. The thoracic aortic aneurysm would concern me the most (heart/ vascular surgeon). You are right, God is in control but he has provided us many tools and healing is available if we utilize these tools ( vaccines, medicines,surgeries when required). Our job is to seek out the healing that God has provided for us and accept his will for our lives. Praying for both of you during this time of difficulty.

Our faith is our hope. someone said, why do you believe and I said well I do believe it but if it’s not true, and I do believe it, what have I got to lose nothing, but everything to gain. Amen.

I had fatty liver but I lost a lot of weight so maybe loosing weight would help but yes a GI dr or regular dr did an ultrasound and that’s how they found out,I had it, praying for Chris

Retired Rn here. If Chris was my husband he would get an internist to see him and help direct his care. He will make consults as needed. A Gastroenterologist is definitely appropriate. Need to find reason for Hepatomegaly. Don’t want to frighten you but with the healthcare system in its present state, it takes time to get appointments lined up. Since you don’t have a history to refer to as to how long these problems have been going on time is of the essence.

I was born at St. Joseph's in Savannah. I see a Hepatologist for my liver. My liver has been super enlarged since Covid along with my spleen. I am glad it wasn't anything major. Prayers for y'all.

My Dad wore dress cowboy boots to work every day. They help with posture and low back pain. That's probably why the handsome doctor wears them.

I found out I had Hepatomegaly hepatic steatosis which is fatty liver . It scared me enough to completely change my diet. My doctor was nonchalant about it but not me. So I scheduled an appointment with my gastroenterologist. Prayers for him.

Yes fasting and eliminating sugar,gluten,dairy,beef and table salt are highest on the list that causes many health issues.Chris likes fish and chicken is better than beef or pork. Looking into god’s natural foods is very healing. I hope he considers and researches this and hope he feels better soon. Just the fact that he eats a good amount of seafood has made him healthier. ❤❤

My husband has had a paralyzed hemi diaphragm on the right side since 2014. No cause was ever found for his either. He has learned to compensate for the shortness of breath. He has to sleep on his right side every night all night. I will keep y’all in my prayers.

My GI doctor is also experienced with livers, lungs as well as stomach.

Tammy I had fatty liver and my doctor said know saturated food or processed foods. Baked chicken,fish ,no sweets . Whole wheat bread or wheat tortillas wraps. I cook for my son,family neighbors,😂 Also fresh vegetables steamed. Lost weight and it’s all been perfect for four years now. Oh… my enzymes where up in my blood work is what brought this on. My first reaction I said I don’t drink so I was confused. She said change the what you eat. And I did all good,thank god .I pray for for Chris and you,god bless.

My husband was diagnosed with fatty liver disease by his gatroenterologist, and that same doctor is the one that referred us to a liver transplant hospital and played a significant part in getting him on the liver transplant list. Since the hospital is in Atlanta, and we are in Statesboro, his gastroenterologist still sees him every 6 to 8 weeks. He does see a hepatologist (blood doctor), but that is because of his low platelets since the spleen absorbs the platelets. He has to occasionally have blood and iron transfusions. Just thought I'd explain why others were saying he should see a gastroenterologist. You both will be in my prayers as you seek to find answers.

Tammy, an ascending aortic root dilation at 4.2 is incredibly serious. At 4.5 is when surgery is talked about. Unless I heard you wrong, that is something that is incredibly serious. Please get that checked as soon as possible. Don't let them tell you it's nothing. Get a second opinion if necessary. I pray I heard you wrong.

Me too what the RN said! Prayers for Chris on the other note this late but I’ve had a busy week this correlates with our churches sermons! Our church will be 75 years old in Feb so since it’s bane us Faith they are doing whose who in the Faith world in the Bible. We just did Nicodemus last Sunday It’s kind of nest u think when one finds out we all kind of study the same stuff at the same time..I’ve had nodules too on my lung thyroid and now I have some elsewhere too . Fortunately the one in my lung dissolved hamburger us bad but the leaner cuts of hamburger have less fat than ground Turkey .

A fatty liver will get better if you eat less and cut out sugar. It works for me.

So glad that Chris is okay and the bad things have been ruled out. I had some things going on with my liver, I do see a naturopath, so I took supplements and it's fine now. Dr Berg on RU-vid has some real good videos on liver health. Praying for you guys!

✍Hello Tammy...I love your doggies🐾and kitties🐾 Jade is so pretty hope Joann is ok? My daughter got me my first ever dog 11 years ago cause she's allergic to cats. I really do love her 🐾 but I'd give anything to have a kitten. My heart would break if something happened to her. Its like having a toddler ha ha hee hee!! Sorry to hear your sweetheart "Chris" isn't feeling well. My fur baby🐾sleeps with me or I should say she allows me to sleep with her 🐾 ha ha hee hee!! She sleeps with her back and bottom against me. Its comforting. My oldest daughter has non alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver that she's had for over 25-30 years. She doesn't drink or do anything she shouldn't. She's just always had health issues since birth. She takes Milk Thistle as the Dr. Prescribed. She's always been conscious about her health cause she was born with a Congenital heart defect, serious blood disorder, etc. The specialist she saw when she was in her 20s recommended she drink distilled water and that's all she drinks (even myself and my dog) besides green tea.And we say lots of prayers 🙏 Don't forget to tell the doctor about Chris fall. I'll say some prayers for Chris.🙏 My son-in-law doesn't tell my daughter when he's not feeling well or even when he was going through Chemotherapy for his stage 4 Cancer which was during the time of Covid so she couldn't even see or talk to the doctor and when he goes to recurring Dr.appointments he goes from work. I have liver disease and I go to a gastrointestinal doctor.

A good doctor of internal medicine. And he will be a good doctor for anything that happens. A good Dr of internal medicine can refer him and make all the arrangements for seeing the referred Dr. Chris is getting older and should have a checkup every year.

Prayers that all will be well and that answers can be found for Chris. 🙏🙏

For Calcifications, he needs to take 2,000 IU of Vitamin D and Magnesium Glycinate. I know Tammy because I have a few calculations around my aorta. I went to a Nutritionist and that is what she told me to take. My nephew is an Anesthesiologist. He said of all the years he studied, he had only 2 weeks of nutrition! Hope that helps a little.❤
