I’m 67. I can say that marriage multiples were common; back then people got married. They didn’t live together like people do now. Today it’s a different mindset. Johnny’s my second husband. My first one I married at 21 years old. I was a brand new college grad in May 1976 got married June 1979. I stayed with the first marriage, 22 years then divorced my ex-husband. I married Johnny on 11/23/2000. He is the love of my life. I knew Johnny since I was 14 and he was 17. Our grandparents were friends our parents too. Who knew what the road ahead was for us years later! We’ve all made mistakes! I, like you had to hit a few bumps to find “Mr. Right.”

Thank you Tammy. This means so much to me how you shared with us. It brought me to tears. I was saved but young, left home for a big city..lost my way and made a choice to marry an ungodly man. We were married 35 years together and had three beautiful children. I chose to stay with him but it was hard most of the time. God helped me and showed me his great love..I found my identity one day and it was His love that got me through. He has been gone a while now and I'm thankful through it all my children loved and respected him. Only God. Please don't think your testimony is not having an impact because it surely is and I am 71 years young. I pray the Lord brings a strong Godly man to me one day soon so I feel as complete as you do with Chris.

It snowed for five days ago and it has been so cold. It’s like packed ice on the subdivision roads and when you walk, you can hear the ice cracking and hasn’t been salted or plowed. Our weather is so cold they got up to 18° and we have windchill below zero here in southern Michigan.

Bless you for sharing your life with us today! I laughed, teared up and reflected on my life through your experiences. My ex cussed me at a Willie Nelson concert and later threw a glass of ice water in my face! I grew up in a Christian home with the kindest, sweetest parents and had never been mistreated. I left that crazy man in a year and never married again. lol. God has seen me through my whole life. The Sovereignty of God sustains me at 73 y.o. I know he loves me and will see me through this veil of tears. Thank you, Jesus!

Tammy, you are absolutely right about the cancer word. I had a doctor tell me that when I became a brand new nurse in 1976. I was a brand new RN and I worked on a step down ICU floor in a New York City hospital. The place was literally run like a mash Unit! We had nonstop patients come in with multi symptom disorders. It was a great place to learn as a new RN. I remember an infectious disease MD saying to me “Joanne, we all have some form of cancer. As to what degree to becoming full-blown, well that’s up to God.” I even remember the doctors name. I won’t mention it because of rights to privacy. Working I saw people that were slim, diet, conscious, and real gym rats, die unexpectedly. They got cancer too. It doesn’t discriminate. When is your time, it finds you! My motto is enjoy life it’s too short! Good for you buying that snow man tea pot! Tammy have a fantastic holiday!

Jade is beautiful 😍. I have 4 inside cats. They were all bottle fed because the mother disappeared of 2 and the mom of the younger two pushed them away..

I told her sometimes you have to kiss a little of toads before you find your Princess. She laughed so hard and when she gets blue she thinks of that ..

Tammy I have a Boston Scientific spinal cord stimulator. I had it put in 2012, have had 3 battery replacements, just had the newest battery update on September 27 2023. Love love mine. I have the paddles not the leads. You will first have to have the trial which you wear on the outside of your body for 7 days and if you pass the trial the Dr will then implant the stimulator inside your body. Tammy a word from me to you, I had the trial and it really did not help but I was bound and determined I was going to have this stimulator. I am so glad I did. The first stimulator batteries were not MRI compatible but the new one which I got in September is. I have about 50-65% pain relief. They want you to have 75-80% relief. I have severe nerve pain in my right leg and foot due to pinched nerves in my back. I’m on disability because of it but still drive a little but I have a scooter that I have to use when shopping. I can walk into the dollar store and small stores and restaurants but if shopping I have to have my scooter. I know what you are going through, it’s TOUGH!!! Keep up your sweet funny self.

I left an abusive marriage 25 years ago with my son and four garbage bags of clothes and never looked back. I raised my son to be loving and respectful of women. I'm a nurse and have lots of spinal issues and previous surgeries including rhizotomies. The last lumbar surgery left me with neuropathy in my feet. I will eventually trial a spinal cord stimulator too. My dear friend has one for her foot pain bc of a bad fracture that won't heal. Her's is less than 5 yrs old. They aren't perfect but it's worth to try to relieve pain without narcotics. Good luck, Friend
