After Shadow got dumpstered and I struggled with Holy in M+ I took the plunge and have started learning Disc in Dungeon. Glad to have an idea of how to play in Raid as well now. Thanks.

I agree on fights like smolderon where standing still is a premium you mindbender reduction is something to watch out for. Happy for the radiance tip on melee grps or when cast on ranged or yourself. That issue can also arise on M+. This is what makes among other things Disc priest sometimes harder than other healers and I love it. :)

Another tip for Nymue: Get an augmentation evoker to cast spatial paradox on you toward the end of intermission. You’ll have 80yd range on your spells so you can reach the players on the opposite side with ease

do you ever need to apply your atonement with renew? I've been doing that but I've noticed I run through a lot of mana that way.

What would you recommend using to start applying attonement before the double radiance casts? My M+ healing is fine, but raid can be a struggle due to having so many people that need attonement..

most logs i've looked at have either done Rapture or when thats not up you can use PW:shield>renew>renew>PW:Shield > Renew > Renew > PW:Shiled > Flash Heal >Double radiance for 19 attonements, or relplace thew renews with flash heals depending on outgoing damage.

You have helped me improve as disc so much! Tyty!! Question: Since evangelism and rapture are 1.5 minutes CD, and power infusion is a 2 minute, should i wait the 30 seconds before i ramp with rapture and evangelism? Or should i just ramp and use PI on the next mini ramp after? I realize it may be fight dependent, just curious what a general rule of thumb would be.

would you consider making an indepth guide on ramping? I am new to disc and seriously struggling to keep up putting atonements on people, like it feels pretty much impossible after every big ramp. I feel like I'm spamming renew. My questions would be, after a big ramp what is the best way to mini ramp, how many atonements should I have up at all times and before my big ramps? I feel like I have no time to smite as I'm making sure to have atonements on 8+ people at all times especially when there is so much damage going out on bosses like Nymue and Smolderon. Your videos and explanations are so helpful, so thank you so much for this video!

I have a disc raid guide up on my channel and my wowhead guides up as well! You shouldn’t be maintaining atonement’s at all times. Check the guides out!

Ive had a lot of success splitting my rapture and evangelism up into different ramps, but I play uppies shadowfiend. Is combining them a general tip for the mindbender build are are you always doing this? I can try it but I feel like I'd lose some coverage in my raid, since im the only disc

I always do it regardless of setup. Only difference is you apply renews instead of rapture shields in a mini ramp

I tried this last night and was oom in 4 minutes. Couldnt get past that 4 minute mark. How can you sustain this for a 6 or 7 minute fight?

Cast less atones in your mini ramps and use radiance charges more effectively

I hope they remove atonement as a gameplay mechanic for next expansion, the amount of extra steps to be a ranged mistweaver monk is insane.

I'm feeling kind of aggregated that disc healing revolves around one main move. Keeping up the shadow is completely rediculous imo. It just take the fun out of it. Especially when the fight requires a lot of movement.

I have been using this build but dropping one point in the extra penance bolts after radiance into uppies, seems great in lower level mythic guilds (we just killed 2 so far) because you have more cds to cover mistakes

I've considered the same, but healing wise Uppies just seems kinda pointless to me without the automatic atonements, and then you'd need to commit way more talent points. How have you been using it?

@@karlzone2 basically uppies is my CD that I can press when we need healing for unplanned mistakes and evang and bubble are my planned CDs my healing officer assigns

@@karlzone2 Personally I combine uppies with something like rapture. You get 8 atonements out of rapture, 2 from flash healing some one other than yourself, and then as much coverage as you can get with the two radiances, then straight into uppies. I do this on Tindral a lot for first roots. After that I like to go into a separate ramp with renews/shields for evangelism + fiend/mindbender. You get insane coverage with that

@@zackg3507 I guess I'm just sceptical this is worth it. All that time spent setting up for mediocre uppies damage, you could just be smiting and then using a proper mindbender ramp afterwards. I'd almost rather use uppies defensively, because I'm spending 4 seconds rather than 20 seconds for a small bit of healing. But I might try it next raid. Perhaps I'm underestimating uppies w/o auto-atonements. EDIT: though there is something to be said for having a bonus ramp during early progress. That may be valuable when you're not yet sure when to commit your ramps and when other healers can handle it.

@@karlzone2 Its really good as its own ramp, particularly on last 3 bosses. Its not something I play for every fight. You can have an evangelism ramp, rapture ramp and combine uppies with a mini ramp or work it into a rapture ramp. I do mindbender/shadowfiend almost always with my evangelism ramp. I'm the only disc priest in our raid, after finishing heroic I've found its becoming really damn essential to have my ramps split up this way for good coverage.
