Thanks Tactyks! As a casual player being a Bear main just makes it simple to push keys since the rotation is so easy. Looking forward to another season as bear and hopefully we get some spot buffs over the coming weeks to level us out with other tanks.

Thank you for this, I ran a 16 the first few days of patch and can say my hp was bouncing quite a lot and had to kite more than usual with my current build + dropping tier for higher ilvl.

Never drop tier for higher ilvl . A 420 ilvl tier set from season 1 is still better than no tier 489 ilvl season 3 gear

Hey Tactyks, thanks for the awesome videos! Would taking a point out of Fury of Natury for Elune's Favored be better? It adds the same amount of Arcane damage, but adds self healing.

Elune's Favored is in the Capstone area whereas Fury of Nature is in the midtier so they aren't 1-for-1 trades unfortunately.

Great Guide thank you! One question: Are the Galactic Guardian proccs are consumed automatically? So we just press moonfire just if the procc is about to Fall of or do we Need to Spend the proccs manually? Maybe I missed it in the video, sorry then :-)

Galactic Guardian procs are only consumed automatically if there is more than 1 target and you are spec'd into Twin Moonfire. Otherwise in single target situations you'd need to spend them manually.

Hi Tactyks, Guardian main here, just started playing again since Shadowlands so thanks for the helpful guide. I've been playing with Thorns of Iron & 2/2 Flashing of Claws but wondering if FoN, GG & TM is the way to go? ToI seems to make up less than 2% of my dmg and now I've got back into the swing of things and pushing higher keys (around 15) I want to start maximising my DPS, I can see flashing of claws being good on fortified weeks, but I think next week with Tyrannical I'm gonna swap for FoN, GG & TM to judge, just wondering what you've been doing? Thanks!

Hey, welcome back! Personally I am a fan of the more moonfire based stuff, not only because it'll give you higher damage output, but also because it gives a solid passive boost to your rage generation. This allows you to cast more ironfurs or mauls/razes, which in turn feeds into bigger Ursoc's Fury shields, so there's a solid defensive benefit there too. Would definitely recommend you try it out and see how it feels for you!

Healers definitely not just because I don't have much experience in that area and don't want to put out a bad guide. Other tanks is definitely something I can do if I can find the time, would likely be Prot pally/warrior if I did make more just because those are what I'm playing the most right now!

Guardian druid still a good tank o should i re roll? I like bear but idk if hes gonna be weak to do at least 20+

Every tank will be able to do keys at +25 and higher this patch, so if Guardian is your favourite tank spec I'd stick with it, but if you want to try something new all power to you! In general I think tank balance this patch is the best so far in Dragonflight, so even if Guardian is one of the weaker tank specs in the grand scheme of things it's not too far behind the top specs.

Moonless Night really does a ton of damage (and healing) in aoe situations with raze. I've actually been dropping incarn for it. Not really sure which is better yet.

Yeah the main issue with Moonless Night is where it's located on the tree, as it requires you to swap out 2 points from the standard M+ build which is a hard sell in keys. Incarn may not be the insane powerhouse ability it was back in Shadowlands but it's still a very strong CD especially on a 1.5-2min timer. Maybe as a Tyran tech for the big boss damage but not sold on it yet personally.

It's a minor detail but, Waking stats is okay but, Accelerated Agility is a better option. I personally value movement speed pretty highly and the trade off is only 39 agility for 5% move speed. I might trade double that or more for 5% MS.

Bear only needs its tier shield to explode at the end for its remaining damage and have the UF and GG nerfs completely reverted and we'd be fine.

@@Tactyks The sad thing is that bear is not THAT bad. Damage is being shifted to this reflective shield (which if it exploded.....or you do high enough content for it to always get eaten.... is ok). Health is fine and bear will still be at the top of tanks as we gear up. The only real issues are rage, being able to fully use the tier in less punishing content, and the unwarranted nerfs we took because of 10.1.7 and Aug. Unnerf GG and UF, make the tier explode, and we'd be fine. As it is, the tier shield absorbing 25% of magic damage done to us is sorta promising for M+ given the high level of magic damage. Also, try Bristling Fur. Macro it to RotS and the tier becomes alot more usable.

I'm thinking about put rage of the sleeper a flat duration of 15 sec (+5 sec by the tier), and all the damage it absorb, heal, reflect and amplify build the shield after it ends, maybe with a max cap to be healthy, like 100% hp as shield idk, also if the shield expired (i think 15 sec shield instead 45 sec like actually is fair enough) it explode by the amount remaining as fire damage, like the neck of bfa. i feel bad delay rage of the sleeper until i have 80+ of rage to maximize the value, cuz we are a tank, sometimes we need just press a defensive no matter what cuz we could die. this could be help without lose the main idea about use rage of the sleeper interaction. if they want could put less cd on rage of the sleeper, that's meas we can have a shield frequently.

its not so bad though since you have enough CD coverage as guardian that btw RotS, Barkskin and the tier you can basically have a DR rolling at all times without even dipping into SI or incarn@@zacharyiler136

Everyone is saying that druid is bad now, how bad it is? is it gonna be way harder to do 15/20 with druid then meta tanks? Idk if should re roll or its gonna be ok just a bit harder. Pls help :D

If your goal is just doing keys in the 15-20 range I think Guardian will be just fine. Meta tanks will always have it easier but tank balance this patch seems pretty solid across the board, so if you enjoy playing Guardian then I'd definitely say stick with it!

Guardian is still very good . And a +20 is easy for guardian . This issue is in pushing higher keys . Other tanks offer better survivability and do more damage . It’s just that. But until +23 or +24 I think guardian should do very fine

I haven't dropped any of my season 2 tier but so far still loving bear. Timed my first +20 2 weeks into the season which is a first and just about to break 2.5k IO. Its still extremely tanky, has tons of utility and does decent damage.

Yup Druid M+ utility feels so good to have, definitely the biggest thing I miss when doing keys on different tank specs. Grats on getting the +20s done!

I got rid of Galactic guardian, and went for a more defensive driven build. honestly it feels much, much better. Extra 20-40k isn't that big of a deal from what I've been seeing. however, If i was very geared and doing something easier. I'd proc into it then, along with heart of the wild lol.

Definitely think the defensive value of Galactic Guardian is being a bit underrated, more rage generation = more ironfurs or mauls/razes, which also feed into more Ursoc's Fury Shields in addition to the extra damage gain!

@@Tactyks I chose that one that adds 2 seconds to ironfur, than the other that adds 3 more. So now I can maintain around 5-6 stacks easily. I'll try the galactic build also from time to time! it is fun.
