sorry for music, didnt realise it was so loud, it fades away half way through video when its important anywayPls follow my twitch: www.twitch.tv/reeceboss
Heya Reece, very useful video as the other 2-3 that you have on the channel :D Few but on the point. Question - did you set up Weak Auras Manually or did you import something? Recently came back to the game, still a lot of CDs I don't know.
I no longer use weak auras to show CDS. i just use my omnibar. I personally found WA screaming in my ear and omnibar showing the cds was distracting and ineffective. If you want my omnibar setup its on the subs section of the discord (check desc) You can just create one manually tho, i recommend you do as you will go through the classes and learn which spells to look out for/track
For Power of the Silver Hand, do you actually get a buff for the proc? I’ve sat at dummies for like half an hour trying to test it and haven’t seen a buff yet
You got it to the poin men!! Its fucking insane how much spell is for every fucking class! And how important ir is to react to the CDs..starting my paladin and it's tonesss of work to play and understanding what to do... thx for the guide
Your vids are helpful and informative. You don't need to edit these vids, its good enough without editing. Also its refreshing as a newer player to hear someone that's a top player talk about how they get overwhelmed with all the abilities in the game
to be honest i think in 2v2 it is underperforming massively, your best bet is to play with a DH or a rogue (use rep with a rogue). In 3v3 i think RMPALA is working really nice with fire/assa. at least im enjoying it. not sure if its the best though but its what i find is working so far.
Awesome vid dude, can you make a vid for tracking your opponents offensives? example where you used Sacrifice when they used serenity? is that Omnicc ? Wikid video
hey i think its hard to make a video on such a topic, although maybe i could do something similar. its just a lot of variant factors. I think as hpala you can get very far by scripting your cds for example. WINGS with every 2 minute cool down>incarn/wings/ etc. but then in 3v3 it gets a bit more complicated, what if the enemy team pop everything, then you must pop everything too right? WINGS+AURA MASTERY+DAYBREAK?(without divine plea).. hmm.. but then what if your team use? you have to weigh that out? and it depends on the comp youre playing and facing. for example; with an SP i always prefer that they use disperse first over BOP's.. because disperse is a shorter CD but also because the BOPS benefit all 3 members of your team, whereas disperse only the SP. for example, in SP/ROGUE/HPALA if i was to bop a priest before disperse, then they swap rogue, i wouldnt have bop for the rogue where as SP could disperse. let me explain: if i have 1 bop left > i would only use it on someone who has no cds. because for example. if i have nothing but my rogue has evasion. i bop the go on my rogue where he could have evasioned. next go i can die without bop, if the team is good they will see rogue has evasion and go me. i hope this makes sene? its quite hard to explain in text, but what im trying to say is that its variant and depends on a lot of factors. something that comes with experience.. i don't know your EXP but if you are just starting, i would understand the basic main cds and how you should respond. wings+devo aura aura mastery on main cds such as incarn/wings is a good telling.. 1min 30 cds like warrior cds, aura mastery should always be scripted. wings should come with first maybe, then let your team use 2nd. (so for example, wings+aura first, TEAMS DEFENSIVE+aura mastery second). what also adds a layer of complexity is dampening. I can wings a feral druids incarn (2min for 2min) and heal through it in early dampening. But in late dampening, wings will not save you, then you must trade bops. So I would rather save bops for late dampening IF POSSIBLE. But hten again, this is IF the game was to go to dampening. this is also something with experience you will feel based on your comp/enemy comp. What are the likely good the games go on that long? once you figure out cd trading you're 33% of the way there. the other 33% (making it 66%) of it is optimizing your general rotation, so that cds aren't forced unnecessarily due to poor output. another 33% (making the full 99.99%) is positioning/avoiding cc (so again, cds aren't forced unnecessarily) i always explain wow as: u want to do the most output (as a team): damage/healing/cc while minimizing the enemies output (their dmg, helaing, cc).. reduce enemies dmg/pressure with CDS etc... reduce their cc by positioning/sac cc etc. etc. Its something to think about. sorry for the long response instead of a video format. i hope this helps!
i will also leave you with, you will have the most success using a good UI. you will notice most r1 healers have similar UI's.. this is because you need to optimally see whats going on in the game so that you can respond. but as well, you must be able to recognise what is going on.. you need to research the other classes, their main ways of causing pressure (their main cds/ their main cc) so u can see what is happening. try to understand these things, recognise what it LOOKS like when they're popping, icons/animations. so that you can respond faster. hope this helps.
You are my go to for paladin guides. Clear, concise and you give tips that are more than “just play this spec and you’ll get 2400” Keep up the great work man! One question I did have, what races would you recommend besides human? I just cant look at their models anymore after playing since vanilla 😅
I notice you flash heal even without the no mana cost proc. I find myself personally running out of mana in long games in 2s. Is flash healing without a proc still a good idea?
This was a great watch at work on my breaks well done 👍🏼. Been playing since beta Og… just wanted to comment on learning how other classes work. Definitely a must. It was easier in the early seasons there were fewer classes and abilities. I can say that this is probably the reason why I don’t bother trying to be competitive anymore being a casual player .. there’s just so many classes and abilities now it’s overwhelming. Least it seems that way. I still enjoy Bgs so I’m good just speccing survival 🙃
I feel like I'd go oom if I flashed. I'm so scared too press it just because mana. But I'm playing at low mmr where rounds can go for ages because no one does anything and it's just pve until a healer ooms.
wtf am i doing wrong? we have almost the exact same games played and I believe I have a slightly higher winrate but I'm only at 1800 rating. Every game I play I get almost no rating unless I go 5-0 or 6-0. Did I just miss out on playing early season?
I’m surprised you haven’t gotten cyclones, every match I play, the Druid opens with stun then cyclone, then they keep doing it. I usually try to stun and repenting the healer. Anyways, great vid, this is going to help a lot because I suck at arena lol
@@musical_brainproductions are you playing hpally? If so if you copy his opening for heals you have a good amount of outgoing healing if you are in a cc
@@brendanmueller3921 yea I play holy pally in solo shuffle only. Highest I got was 1500 last season. But then again I wasn’t playing much. Thanks for the advice though.
I don't think ur comment make sense, it's like that with every game or every skills in life, if u wan't to improve and get serious u have to learn, it takes time. It's even worse if u wan't to play league of legends in my opinion.
