Bmw should build this car themselves and name it after Plasa, something like 134 GP. At the end of the day it's quite possibly the best known custom built bimmer ever.

Auch nach all den Jahren schaue ich mir regelmäßig DIESES Video an. Unglaublich dieser Sound. Letztes Jahr beim Glasbachrennen, als Jörg Weidinger den alten 320 Judd pilotiert hat, haben die Zuschauer ihre Mützen abgenommen und haben sich klatschend an Georg erinnert. Es war sehr emotional!!! Nun hoffe ich, dass die Tribute 2021 weitergehen!!! Am Glasbach und beim Masters. Das wäre auch bestimmt für die frenetischen portugiesischen Bergrenn-Fans ein Hammer. Georg and this BMW is such cool combo that it makes me have tears from pure awesome. Georg and this car have inspired me to start my own hill climb race car project and start racing. The sound of the Judd engine will reverb forever in the mountains. Georg is racing this BMW in the afterlife as much as he pleases.

As I've read in comments, he was the Senna of the mountain. We all are going to celebrate the 1M views of this great video!

Is the same engine sound of the F1 after the first turbo era, incredible, wild, the king of the engines sound . I still remeber when in the '90 i went on saturday at Imola, was the first time for me and i just can tell you that the sound scared me much more than theyrs speed totally covered by that incredible screame.

This is my absolute favorite sounding version of my favorite sounding engine (2:04-5:17). It's such a shame that only a moment of mistakes in Georg's greatest creation yet cost him his life. When I am out driving my car like an asshole thinking I know shit, I keep in mind what happened to this great racing enthusiast and the fact that I am a weak-at-best driver compared to him. RIP Georg Plasa, who definitely moved on too soon.

"against what cars would it go up against?" against dtm cars. but they have no chance, like georg plasa said, a dtm car is a walker against this bmw123 judd. why? that's simple: @ hillclimb races you have generousr regulations (group e1 / e2 sh) for comparison with dtm regulations. look at the double diffusor - not allowed in dtm, the aerodynamics, air restrictor, 780 kg, and so on. cheers, chris

This man was my whole childhood i watched him every day for like 6 Hours i always wanted to enter hillclimb only because of his driving i hope im going to make this one day but im on a good way, im a Karting driver now but maybe i make it one day

If its his first test with this car i have to say that for me its abosolutly normal not to drive 100% its a bit to expensive to crash on first climb. Anyway for those who say he sucks i need to say that you have only 8-10 climbs during whole weekend so its hard to feel the car and learn to drive it, its not computer game where you can press esc and restart race. Extream car, extream sound!!!! Awsome movie!!!!

The sound is quite incredible. From the front the car sounds like an old Steve Soper Zakspeed BMW from the DTM days, but from behind it sounds like a Formula 1.

Here's what you do to a person that says this guy sucks... You put them in this, then a rally car, then in an F1 car.

@Acid113377 Depends on how the crank is machined. I have a Ferrari 355 and though it sounds like it's higher because I am accustomed to hearing American V8s, it's red line is only around 8500. Crank design and firing order can make a great deal of difference in sound. Just guessing but this sounds around 7500 - 8500 RPM to me.
