I watched The Burrowers the other night and loved it! Let Us Prey (2014) is also a great one on Tubi - it starts out a little slow but picks up and gets really interesting and gory.
Who wouldn't Love a movie called Frankenstein's Army?! Some good stuff here, KB. I need to see the Rebecca Hall 🥰 flick and The Special. A Sound of Thunder is a damn-good movie that was absolutely torpedoed by abysmal CGI. A shame, really. For it's time, the fx should have been much better. ✌️
Hi Kainan , hope you are well buddy. Sending you love and blessings from Manchester UK. K where can I find the list of these movies please. I do watch your videos regularly and thoroughly enjoy your company through your Vlogs.
Dude I start the Halloween countdown the day after Christmas. Tisk tisk you call yourself a Halloween fan? lol step it up 😂❤just teasing.. about u not about starting the countdown the day after Christmas I really do that lol
Technically. The moon rotates 1 full turn in about 27.3 days 😊 Thanks for the video. Saw most but a couple. I will check out (may even go back and watch one from a while back)
Just watched it. Kudos on the writing. Definitely tapped into the horror of addiction and how a pleasurable experience can take over a person's mind and destroy their life.
Agree with this. My first watch, I was about to turn it off. Meh! Just another boring military film. All of a sudden, it changed completely once they reached the hidden abandoned buildings of Dr. Frankenstein. Now, I actually own this film. So freaking Franky good! Highly recommend giving it a chance. Trust me, definitely watch the whole film. 💙
I recommend this one to folks all the time. Whenever anybody mentions ‘Overlord’ I say, yeah that’s a pretty good one but watch ‘Frankenstein’s Army’. It’ll blow you away.
Without a Doubt, I don't even check them anymore. Kainan's reviews are better Without spoiling anything. Cool reviews, cool Dude who knows film, not just Horror genre.
You have no idea how much time I spend reading reviews trying to figure what might be good. I love good horror and this looks like a solid list. Thanks for this!
I think a lot of people that are subscribers to "Ghost Pirate" do the same thing but are afraid to admit it, bc at the end of the day we all LOVE horror lol!
The Sound of Thunder is based on an absolutely amazing Ray Bradbury short story. That story was the first time I heard of the Butterfly Effect, many years ago. I hadn’t realized it had been adapted to a movie and although I’m 98% sure it won’t live up to the potential in the story, as long as it’s an entertaining watch, I’ll be fine.
It didn't, but it was still pretty good. I was actually surprised he didn't mention the Bradbury story. I thought that was one of the stories you had to read in high school or junior high or something. I know that when I tutored literature students, it was one of the first stories I had them read. 🤷
@@mybraineatseverything7404 We didn’t read it as an assignment when I was in school, back in the Pleistocene. I was crazy over science fiction and read everything I could. I honestly thought the Butterfly Effect was named that because of the story, but I can’t find anything to confirm that. It appears to be a happy accident.
The Butterfly Effect is one of my all time favorites!! I was so impressed and shocked by how well Ashton Kutcher did in it. You hadn’t seen him do anything serious-he’s always the stupid funny guy. I love it when you see actors go from one extreme to the other….just shows how amazingly talented they are
Man, every time I start cutting into my Tubi watchlist, there you are with more cool looking movies to add. I'm pumped to check out The Canal and Frankenstein's Army (the name turned me off too). And Haunt is great. Super fun slasher, doesn't drag for even a moment.
Beyond the Black Rainbow was so back and forth for me. I'd find myself engrossed in her story, but his parts jarred me out of the whole thing. I also thought the storyline was there maybe a bit more than most seem to. It's an interesting film no matter how you take it.
OMG Apollo 18 was so creepy! And Frankenstein's Army - awesome! There are actually a couple on this list I haven't seen yet, so I'll be fixing that soon!
Just watched "Handling the Undead" and it was the creepiest movie I have seen in years. Remember the scene in Terrified with the dead boy that returns to his mother's house? Well that's the plot/tone and it is an extremely well done slow burn.
@@Heathennation1976 Then you probably won't like the movie either. I found the dead boy in Terrified/Aterrados very creepy because it was subtle and up-close the same way this film is (though I like most all zombie flicks).
I HIGHLY recommend reading or watching a RU-vid summary of Beyond the Black Rainbow before seeing the film if you want to understand the story line. I found it makes the movie a little more enjoyable, IMO. And yes, horror definitely can be fun!
Great Job bro. Not sure if you noticed but damn if they didn't jump up with the Advertising especially in Hulu the last few months. They been playing every 4 to 5 minutes. I understand they need to make money but it's gotten ridiculous. It makes it so hard to get invested when every 4 minutes it pulls you away especially during a important Part of film. I've Watched two different Series, The Strain and Wayward Pines. The Strain is Great and Wayward Pines is definitely worth a watch also. I've had to start watching Films late at night because there is way way less Advertising.
I usually just watch Tubi! But there are so many movies that you just have to pick and watch! But im glad KB does this cause I've definitely narrowed down alot of crap! He has taste like me!
Thanks for your suggestions I've seen a lot of movies I didn't even know about until you suggested them. I'm not afan of found footage, but the rest have been great. Thank you again. I love your channel and your show😊
The Special 😂 is a verrrry good movie. Low budget and great! Also, Beyond the Black Rainbow not my favorite, but, I recommend The Viewing by Guillermo del Toro for that acid trip vibe, but better than Black Rainbow movie.
I remember when legion came out and I watched it like has no one seen this lol yea definitely a popcorn 🍿 movie Also THC plus Beyond the Black Rainbow for me was oddly euphoric lol very trippy and Mandy was great too . Nice list 👍
i wanted to let people know that a film you've recommended is on Tubi and that is 'Cemetary Man.' if you haven't been able to find it anywhere, i checked yesterday and it was still listed on Tubi!! xoxo
Do a video of the best shark movies and the best summer themed horror movies. I feel like I’ve seen all the best shark movies, but maybe I’ve missed a hidden gem - there are so many and hard to find the good ones…. And right on with celebrating Halloween September and October - definitely need 2 months. I pretty much only watch Halloween and Fall vibe movies those 2 months.
The minute you said Creature Features I was instantly transported back to 1976 in my homeland of northern California because every Saturday night there was a show called creature features hosted by the late great Bob Wilkins...I know you werent trying to provoke such an awesome memory but you did and I thank you as well as completely agree with your list.
Awesome! Love the Tubi reviews! I've written down The Awakening, A Sound of Thunder, Frankenstein's Army, The Canal, The Burrowers & Beyond the Black Rainbow as movies I haven't seen.
I suggest you watch a really great movie on Tubi that's called, "12 Hour Shift" and its a movie produced by David [and his sister] Patricia Arquette and it's a really good movie in that although it's not really a horror in the traditional sense, the plot does revolve around this whole organ trafficking biz and David Arquette plays some meathead moron security guard that says some HILARIOUS shit. This movie sort of lies in that genre of sordid and dark humor which is why I don't recommend this to peeps that aren't keen on dark humor
Have you seen Baskin? I finally watched that last night. It's a Turkish horror, and I gotta say, the "villain" towards the end left me pleasantly surprised and a little freaked out. I love how unexpected yet still effectively he creeped me out! I found it to be overall a lot of fun. Thanks for the recommendations! Looking forward to a few of these that I have been putting off watching. I never trust what anybody (except you of course) has to say about any movie, especially horror because I think the genre is mostly misunderstood. I very much appreciate your understanding of even the darkest corners of horror! You da best!
Tubi or Always Tubi, that is the question! Haunt is a top one easily and still def a hidden gem/under talked about. Agree about Legion too, watched it for 1st time last yr n was enjoyable, nasty ole lady!
Great List! Legion, Haunt, The Burrowers and Apollo 18 are all great! Have you ever seen the zombie movie The Revenant (2009)? I think it’s on Tubi. So good.
