Dont think I heard it before or the actual song, which could affect my opinion I guess but, idk, it's ok. Sound/looks pretty technical anyway sure. Don't think I'd put it near that high of my favourite metal solos though personally. Just sounds a little idk, more like a bunch of licks all crammed together to show off or whatever rather than a fluent and melodic instrumental piece that adds something special to a good song. But that's me, at this time. Maybe reading all the comments hyping it up before I got it set me up for dissapointment to you know? 😅 Anyway we all got our own tastes right and that ain't a bad thing.
@@mariusdebosscher9925- now tornado of souls that's more up my alley! 😍 (And in a totally straight, music appreciative manner.... with no altered rainbows on flags or alphabet lessons for this very manly man's man whos happily engaged to the most stunningly beautiful and alluring female in alll the earth as it so happens. Aint nothing male going up any alleys of mine. Just be clear. 😏 But great song and solo and band back in the day.
Great choice of solos! I like how each of them has a unique technique, so it's really about improving one's playing and not only playing random hard solos. Looking forward to this channel
The Four Horsemen and Aces High are very useful and pretty easy solos to play. I think even Fade To Black or Ride The Lightning could work for a Part 2 🤗🤘🤘
I wouldn't qualify the Four Horsemen solo as "pretty easy" ^^ Sure, there's no advanced techniques involved like sweeping or string skipping, but boy is it fast !
It's a very, very different style, but another one up there is the outro to Evoken's Descent Into Chaotic Dream. But I think Return to Serenity gets points both for being a beautiful solo, and also because it has Skolnick's unique, unmistakable style.
Abi bu işi senin gibi yapan görmedim üste tablari vermen çok iyi oluyor hem doğru caliniş şeklini görmüş oluyoruz hemde ayreten uğraşmak zorunda kalmıyoruz cansın ❤️❤️
Im working on this aces high solo and its so cool! I always avoised learning cause i thought it was too hard! This solo is really helping me with pinch harmonics and Im already better!
I remember learing the gap between "classic" solos like Metallica and Skid Row, and Megadeth solos. The Megadeth solos don't necessary sound so much more difficult but when you start practicing you realize how they different.
I already learned something to use from the first one. Thanks for the tab! I don't knownhowbto get that pentatonic legato mix part to sound that smooth, but I guess practise makes perfect.
Excellent, love it. I’d love to hear you do Pantera “The Sleep”, a Satriani number, and a Randy Rhoads tune like “Over the Mountain”. I’ve been playing metal for 30 years so I “get” your work and know the effort that goes in. Particularly loved your phrasing and fingering on Return to Serenity, those extended legatos were phrased to perfection.
We can see a real Pantera fan here hahaha, one of my favorite Dime solos for sure, and about Randy, he and Dime are my guitar heroes… How many times have I listened to the Ozzy Tribute album man hahahahah!
i liked the fact that you did include more expressive solos like the one from "I remember You" or "She's Gone" because that's advanced playing too. Sometimes it's way harder to get a vibrato or a bend right than to do the flashy stuff, which is very cool as well. Great playing and video man, keep it up!
Cool Video! I think it would help if you would have given some sort of comment about why you included each solo e.g. which solo helps to learn which technique. Thanks!
I can't thank you enough for posting these. When it comes to solos I'm a very visual learner(at least for now anyway). And seeing them played with tab is Perfect Liked 'n' Subbed
She's Gone's solo is one of those I continue to just don't get enough of since the very first time I heard it some decades ago. Yeah, I get everyone knows it, most maybe even are sick of it, but I can't help myself. Other super iconic solo I could never manage to get tired of is Judas Priest's Painkiller. Everytime I hear it is certainty of goosebumps.
I applauded and salut you for playing alternate picking part in the end of the solo correctly it’s all alternate picked and it’s two notes per string which makes it even harder live your playing 😊
Magnificent closing, return To serenity is an outstanding solo, melodic, fast, agressive, nuances.. you name and it has it. Best thrash metal solo even thou its a ballad.
Amazing! One thing I love is how effortlessly you look like you are playing, a mark of an amazing guitarist! Very fast runs and you play with amazing efficiency! Greetings from Los Angeles.
I would add sweating bullets from megadeth and beast and the harlot, from a7x. Those 2 are great alternate picking practice for beginner - intermediate playing.
Good Job! Top-3 nice solo: 1. Testament 2. Dream Theater 3. Megadeth. Top-3 bad solo: 1. Pantera 2. Metallica 3. Avenged Sevenfold Hey man, plaese play solos Andy La Roqcue! Great guitar player.
Great selection, and better played, you do'nt only have great technique, but also hearing this makes one to put hands on task and learn these great solos, each one uses techniques that improve your playing, congratulations y saludos desde México.
I was thinking same thing. Was also thinking synyster gates solo would be the only one to stand up to his but hail to the king solo isn't that impressive.
First mess up wasnt until the"Walk" solo. Dimebag fucks my shit up too. I'm learning shattered and the dude's dexterity and little legato runs make my arm burn.
