10 Advanced Tips to Get More Kills in DayZ - Trick Players and Survive Longer 

"It's me! It's me!" is a classic line to use that creates uncertainty in any player. Such a vague but confident statement will lead about anyone to hesitate and wonder if this is someone they met earlier in the day.

My 1st tip: Ammo is cheap, life is precious. With team tactics you can make sure someone holds a suppresive fire (even better on semi-auto) while someone else gets into a better position. 2nd tip: If you have a potato instead of remotely good enough PC (that being me), in case you're being fired upon break contact when possible and find a place, where you can hide and calmly start observing the area you where being shot from. With this kind of hardware you never want to be a stormtrooper and attack people, you want people to come to you, so you can use the element of surprise and every other advantage associated with partisan warfare. Hell, even find some mates to help you with an ambush.

Mock guns fights are great. I use them all the time. The thing is, because swapping guns takes time and nobody has a battle where you take turns, it can be obvious if you’re doing it alone. I use select fire weapons if I can, that way I can make it sound like it’s a battle just with two people with the same calibre weapons.

If I’m being pushed and I know I am unlikely to win, frag grenade. Obviously everyone knows the trick of holding it in your hand, but I pin it to my vest and run out. That way the fuze is almost out when they kill me. I’ll often also set off and attach smoke grenades, since it not only explains the pin pull sound, but also helps hide my rush. It’s a very situational strategy, but if I’m going down, I’m going to take someone with me

Watch out for people running at you while in the heart emote! They have their gun and are planning to kill you! Whilst holding your gun go into the heart emote and run to unsuspecting victims exit emote brandishing instant weapon! You can’t counter it unless you know it’s coming!

I've had this game since January this year and only just got my first 2 player kills today so I need some tips to get more kills 😂

If you play with friends and want to rush someone use gun shots to distract them to hide you foot steps or even better when you are stuck in a building just bait a rush and shoot around so your friend can rush them Also works with if you try to throw a granade inside a building tell your friends to shoot at the door and unpin the granade while they are shooting

"Bait" other players with the bandage noise (stop after the "rip-rip sound because likely they will have started their push on you and won't hear you stop and draw your weapon because of all the noise they will make when pushing). move with the wind, rain, zombie or other players gun shots and foot step noises. Proper dry warm clothing with a lot of patience = you can hide for a long time (your enemy might be doing the same so stay still longer than you think. Thanx Nit!!!

When I’m in a building and someone else comes in, but doesn’t know I’m there, I say “Hey, I here you in there.” Usually makes them think I’m outside rather than inside.

3+ hours and didn't know about the bandana , didn't even know it could be used , neither did I know could jump through the camo buildin window. The rest I knew but were solid tips nonetheless

One sneaky thing I like to do, is when you can hear a stomach rumble in a building. You leave some food outside but not too close and tell them. Your gonna drop the food and leave. Run away and watch as they wait a moment or two then come out and you can get a clear shot.

I'll definitely need to train my aim on zombies, cuz I suck at PvP and have no patience for deathmatch.

sitting in a corner and waiting for the enemy also leads to death as i have just swung multiple people it normally feels like the attacker has the advantage

One tip i know is if you Enter a new area And you find alot off Mushrooms rocks and appels under tress there is most likely a player that is in the area

As a new play in 2023 the things I'm noticing you need to know the most is learning how to put on clothes and how to reload ammo into your gun. Theres so much more but people really haven't been friendly so I hop in a game and have my guard up at all times but only way to learn is play it.

These tips were so advanced, I fell asleep while watching the video and woke up in the future. 🤩

You can always sit in 1 spot for 4 hours while you do your homework and kill everyone who comes by.
