Am Kenyan but very proud of the pace and speed of development in this small greatl Country. The country was nowhere the other day and I think very sooner than later, it will be a powerhouse. Kudos to the leadership and in particular H.E Paul Kagame.
To be honest I wasn't expecting that , I traveled over Morocco and the roads are really a great quality . Africa is moving in the right path greeting from Morocco to all our dear African brothers ♥️

South Africa is a developed country in the world. They have had for decades. I have worked in US (California) since 1993 but I was born in Ivory Coast but I love Africa a lot but South Africa 👍❤️is above all those countries. Good job ❤️: Kenya, Morocco, Ethiopia, Malawi are a top tier in infrastructure and potentials in economies. Nigeria is doing extraordinary jobs 👍❤️. Love.

I'm from Sudan it's one of the biggest country in Africa continent in terms of the neutral resources and in terms of the distance but unfortunately we don't have high quality network roads and many important facilities because intelligent leader hasn't come but sooner or later will come inshallah
Good quality? YES. Extensive? NO. That was not the criterion, otherwise SA would have been number 1, as it has one the 10 largest road networks in the world.
As you may e know Namibia was formerly part of SA.former apartheid eras. In those years. The former Government mainly only developed SA part and did little in than SWA as we were known. Most SWA resources were invested in SA. Thus SA ahead of NAMIBIA currently. What you see now is what Namibian and people did after independence from SA. We always will love SA. 2nd home to us.
I really don't know why people are complaining about Namibia being on top? If you have never left your country don't complain about things you don't know. Look at the road between Johannesburg and Pretoria who is the Capital city. If it was in Namibia it would not be in that condition, trust me on this. Come and look for yourself, our roads are ranked better than even Italy's and for a reason. If you don't agree than come see for yourself
I agree South Africa is way ahead of Namibia in many things. But unless you do not understand the term "Road quality", there is no way SA has a better road quality than namibia. Even World statistics can confirm that. Namibia is rated at a level even higher than countries like China when it comes to road Quality
My brother, this current Ivorian governments are not playing. They are forcing Ghanain, Togolese, Benine and Nigerian government to build joint Highways so the trade can be more easier between nation. I believed we can do it. And this current Ivorian president is a good example to take.

The ranking is also related to governance. These are the least corrupt countries in Africa. This video is good especially for our politicians.. Well done Namibia.

I like your voice. Suited to be a journalist. On Rwanda, you forgot to mention that all the roads have road lights fully functioning or on. It's one thing to have good roads and it's another thing for those roads to have lights.
Let it be clear that Namibia has a total road network of 48 117km, and South Africa has a total of around 754 600km and Rwanda has only 12000km. So it is not surprising that Namibia is ranked ahead of South Africa. The total percentage of Namibian road network is 6.40% of the total South African road network. If Namibians can come to maintain South African roads, I guess it will take them more that 5 financial years to do the job which is done in one year in South Africa. Well done to Namibia and all other African countries, even those that are not in the top ten. I also admire the work of President Paul Kagame of Rwanda. He is aggressively changing the face of Rwanda. This is a proudly South African comment.
I get u but length of the road network is not measurement here. Its the quality of the roads on this index. For example, USA has largest road network in world but they not number 1 in world on good roads. Singapore is no. 1 in world on qood quality road network. USA is in top 10 of course. The World Economic Forum in Switzerland releases the rankings every year. Its hard to find a pothole on namibian roads throughout the corners of the country. Namibia was only 2nd to SA since independence when road rankings were out before the past 5 years. It only came to rank 1st 5 years ago in a row. It has been no. 2 all along. When Namibia got independence, it already had good roads. I think new government just continued to build new roads, upgrade and maintain. Failure of Africa is on road maintenance according to my travel. U will find that City roads in Africa are good but as u travel countryside its potholes for years.
We are all watching Rwanda and feeling very proud of it. Kudos to Kwagame. Rwanda is the best example of African capability, progress and complete separation from crime. As Africans we've had enough bad press from Nigeria, the most populous black African country.

Every time I drive my daughter to school, my daughter always ask me,'' why do I take 40 mins to drive 18 km distance... That is the reason why NAMIBIA is number 1....But it's very good knowing that all AFRICAN COUNTRIES are developing themselves and presenting AFRICA on the chat.....
