Excuse me I’m a Muslim living in Middle East and none of this is true We received album covers in their original state Stop making things up to get more views
Exactly!! Lebanon Syria and other countries are very much diverse with Christianity and other religions then Islam. In my country we dress the way we want too. I even saw once a girl wearing a bra and short shorts in Lebanon so yall need to sit down
I'm from egypt😠in the middle east we do have to be modest but it doesn't mean we actually have to Photoshop a CD and stuff we actually don't care as long as we don't see it in public then no one is going to say anything because we all know that Americans wear different clothes than us (not supposed to be offensive) but no one in the middle east cares unless you walk out with a bra and short shorts
Could you please at least say "some Middle East countries"? NOT all Middle East is like that! In fact it is literally ONLY TWO countries that do that among 15 other countries that form the "Middle East" you're talking about!
@@gulchhh so these edited pictures were fake, made just for this video and they dont exist in the middle east? Btw why are u so sensitive about it? Its a known thing that they cover women up.
Honestly this is actually not True, The albums are always the same and usually a back sticker would be placed on the plastic wrapping which can be removed off to reveal the actual album cover. The U.A.E. don't even follow these censored album covers lol
Julie Youssef no it is the same in Saudi Arabia it just like any other country so don't say that because you don't know anything about us so shut up and don't say anything if you don't know if it is really or not and @thetalko do not you are the reason that people hate us saudies you give them False news and Saudi Arabia is better than you think 🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦
even kuwait im Kuwaiti and I listen to music and Kuwaitis dont have to wear abaya and hijab they mostly go out in ripped jeans with a sleeveless t shirt and luxury brands on there hands feet and head
I am from Lebanon and my grandma got me a Selena Gomez albums on Christmas cause I love Selena Gomez and her album revival shows her half naked SO NOT TRUE
I am from ♡LEBANON♡ and i have all ariana's , selena's , demi's , martina stoessel's and all other singers albums and nothing of these are true . Stop making stuff about islams and middle east just to be famous .
I'm from Saudi Arabia, and a big fan of music, and I have never seen these albums before. and for all the people who are saying that it's only in Saudi Arabia that's totally wrong. There are conservative people who don't seek out for music, while others who do, can have access to them with normal album covers
1. China isn't middle east. 2. There are Muslims and other people living in the middle East (and those who moved to Europe/America) who are NOT offended by those covers.
Alsalam Ealaykum, I hate to break it to you lady but most of the things you said were a not true. I am a Muslim, and I lived in the Middle East most of my life. We are not allowed to discriminate people or judge them by their appearance, but their personality. Plus no one cares how you dress up, because not everyone is from the Middle East. By the way do you even know the difference between Middle East and Muslim. Muslim is a religion not a place for people to live in, and anyone could be a Muslim. Muslim women cover their body’s because it is a symbol of modesty and privacy. You should check your sources before talking, thank you. Salam🙏🏻
Farah aljubari thanks for sharing ur info, everyone thinks middle eastern countries are make u always cover up all the tike but in reality it is not always like that
a fail hit that debuted #13 at the billboard charts in the US despite not having a music video. Some artists perform, make radio deals , drop music videos and promote their songs like crazy to debut at least top 20 and gaga just performed Do what u want a couple of times and debuted #13 and it was a hit in Europe btw, not bad for a song without music video.
Sohail Ahmed it's not a lie it's the official cover of the middle east but you can still see the original even though it's not what we are supposed to see
To the people questioning this. It does not apply to covers you find on the internet or streaming apps, it's only for physical CD case covers that they do this, which most of us don't buy nowadays in all the countries. One mistake they did was to say Middle East, instead of saying few countries in the Middle East. I bet this applies for Saudi Arabia at least, possibly even on the internet.
Ari Butera It sure is true here in the US and I respect Muslim women for not dressing like midnight street walkers. They still show beauty in their faces.
Skylar Hax I'm seeing a lot of these comments I don't think that the album covers are for the Middle East I think that they're just for Muslims but what do I know I'm American 😁
i live in a muslim country and ive never seen the edited albums.. i go to the beach and girls wear whatever they wanna wear.. ( im a hijabi but most of my friends wear bikinis and short dresses without being bothered ) every year in mawazine, morocco these stars come and wear whatever they want so please be loyal in your sources
Steeve Rami but it s a muslim country tho ( the law perspective ).. u cant eat in public in ramadan ( which is a debate) and more than 95% of its ppl are muslims
As an American woman, I have zero problem with the edits. The women still look sexy and not slutty, and their music is still allowed, which is great. Maybe our Muslim friends can answer this question: is the reason you wish to see your women covered up more because you don't want them viewed merely as sex objects?
Twee Widdershins exactly women are people and deserve to be respected not seen as a attraction or sexual object. I mean you rarely see men wearing next to nothing on album covers and being successful so why should it be a social expectation for women to wear less clothes to be more popular.
Twee Widdershins I love how you didn't just judge us muslims we believe that men should like us just because of our body but who we are on the inside that's why we want girls bodies to be covered and yes in a way we don't want us women to be looked at like sex objects thank you!
Bdeeha Khan But why just can't the man hold back their desires? That is something I don't understand. If a woman wants to wear a crop top and some cute shorts why she can't just do that ? ( or can she ?) Isn't it the faults of the man who see woman as a sex object ? And not the woman? Why just man couldn't start to love woman for what they are and not just stare on their bodys even if they wear something "offensive" ?? I think the Arabic culture is very interesting ( and i don't want to insult you in any way) but I don't get some points.
Fu Baozi They are available as they are outside middle east. I'm from Lebanon and nothing is censored there. And if it is censored in one middle eastern country they don't have to say the Middle East.
I am from Egypt and albums are with their original covers. If there is a country in the middle east that applies this censorship then they shouldn't overgeneralize it and say the entire middle east. The Middle east is a LARGE region with many different cultures!
The talko you should do more research please, and that's not true don't mention all the Middle East if it's just one country... wait but when i went to Saudi Arabia I saw nothing like this. DO MORE RESEARCH BEFORE YOU TALK.
OMG 😭😭😂😂😂 i was laughing during the whole damn video that full of lies 😂😂 I'm from Saudi Arabia and i did buy katy's album Teenage Dreams!! There was tiny cloud covering her butt not on her entire body :)!!
There are other countries in the middle east. Just because it isn't in your country doesn't mean it isn't happening somewhere else. Many middle eastern countries have strict laws.
I am from Gambia 🇬🇲 which is a west African country and there 99% of the people are muslims including my family and I (not only the Middle East has Muslims) But to all the haters you need to respect ✊ other religions that are not yours
i mean they would stop lying if we stop clicking on their videos just to prove them wrong. i'm from Saudi Arabia too but i just like to see those videos to laugh.. it's stupid i mean can't they just stop and think of what they're saying? i get you bro
So I'm from Kuwait and I've been to Bahrain and the UAE and I've never seen anything from these and people from Saudi Arabia and Egypt said in the comments that they don't have the albums like that either so basically that's not true at all
This is wrong and fake i live in Tunisia and we get the Albums as they are U never judge the way a none in a church dress but a muslim women is always bizare Live and let live Ps: IAM A PROUD MUSLIM
This is just hilarious, I've lived in Egypt all my life and I've never seen albums being covered up at all! This might happen in Saudi Arabia, not the Middle East
Bi Yaşamdan Parçalar Videoları yes in Central Аsia there are many countries where live a lot of Muslims but rarely see a girls in hijab because there secular countries . Sorry for my bad English )
ok, Saudi Arabia doesn't mean middle east.. comprende? it's one country that is located in the Middle East.. and this extremism is only found in Saudi Arabia.. check your map
@@sorryihaverehearsal5764 it's indeed interesting but it would be more interesting if it's true woke to be modest but that doesn't mean we do these things , thus video is completely and utterly fake
Everyone saying "omg this isn't true at all we dont need to be modest djshoenaowol" Tell that to the women who have been stoned when they took off their bruqa
Dude not everyone wears burqua and it's called niqab btw anyways it's not even an obligation u could wear it if you want to or you could not ..that's their decision and check ur sources bro 😬
actually this video is fake i live in jordan, the middle east and i am a muslim and those pics were never edited this way + if u come to the middle east and see our singers they dont cover themselves and its alright becuase here everyone is free to wear and do what they feel comfortable with so next time when u post a video be specific in which contries is this not allowed and dont come speak in a generall form using the word "middle east" bcs it isnt true, be specific next time and get yr informations from a right source thank you.
Nur Hidayah yeah I do love in Saudi Arabia and it is ILLEGAL not to wear the robe you see but in other countries like UAE and other countries might allow it. But not the whole middle east censored it except for Saudi Arabia
Jude Khasawneh yeah that bugs me also, I'm part Israeli but I live in Australia and like they're just making inaccurate generalisations about middle eastern people.
Exodus Exol Mena ikr like I'm living in dubai and I see so many pictures of these and people in bikins like we don't care what you wear, here we love and respect each other even if you have a different religion or you are from a different race. I'm a muslim myself and have many non muslim friends and we love and respect each other and that's what is important. ( sorry if I have spelling or grammer mistakes)
The problem with this video is the use of the word "middle east" so loosely. Lebanon is a middle Eastern country that is secular where drinks, bikinis, LGBT ppl aren't out of the norm. Yes, there are middle eastern countries that are extremely fundamentalist but they represent a small percentage of the middle east.
wait Lebanon isn't in the middle east, there is only 6 countries in the middle east and the only country in the middle east who is so strict is Saudi Arabia
*To skip thru the bull here are the times that show the comparisons:* 1:29 - Shakira (7:38 - for better comparison) 2:34 - Britney Spears 3:56 - Lady Gaga 4:48 - Ariana Grande 6:02 - Demi Lavato 7:08 - Mariah Carey 7:58 - Jennifer Lopez 8:55 - Madonna 10:18 - Christina Aguilera 11:18 - Katy Perry
this video could have been two minutes long, instead it's twelve minutes of the same text repeated with different words... the commentary is painful to listen to
okay, from a person who's been to the Middle east (and who is Arab, not Muslim) I think its safe to say that not all women there dress modestly. Many women there are actually extremely fashionable- more than i've seen in the Western world. And i've also never seen these 'censorship' album covers anywhere there...Also many singers in the Middle east have nearly provocative album covers, and music videos... so I don't think this perspective is completely accurate. (edit: For all the non- Arabs, commenting that this is an extreme measure of Islam... not everyone in the Middle East is Muslim, so labelling this in such a way is completely false. Arabs/Middle Eastern's have always been conservative, and its more linked to culture, rather than religion. lmao go educate urselves.)
what scares me the most is how many likes that this comment got compared to the other comment, it's like people doesnt want to admit that they're makin a mistake on understanding something, they still keep going with their opinion eventhough they know that it is wrong.. What a hateful world that i live in. Btw im not a muslim tho, but i've also been to some middle eastern countries before.
Cat weed omg girl thanks for saying this and people don't seem to fucking understand and it's annoying and sad, also seeing how people treat other people now is so fucking sad
I am from Turkey. We are living in a muslim country too and we have the original ones, with bikinis. We dont mind. If you can want you can wear bikini. You can wear whatever you want in our country hiajab ,bikini ,shorts...
Right, it's a secular democracy, but hey... their president is trying his best to change that at the moment, so maybe his/her statement will be true in the very near future.
the whole reason why they do that is because they are confident lots of women and men who are trans appreciate it and are inspired by it don't get me wrong your correct but not fully
