Ok, so it’s now coming next week! And I’m as excited as kid on Christmas Eve! Now, my question is; What settings did you use (on the Bigsky) when you had it on “cloud” mode to get those ambient sounds with the Mel9? I can see the setting on the Mel9 so that’s no problem. Any leg up would be appreciated. Thanks in advance 🤗
Do you evert get pops when you are using the footswitch on the bigsky? Especially when playing clean and then clicking into the bigsky. I got mine a couple weeks ago and maybe I didn't notice it at first but I'm hearing it now.
Hello: I have a question, if you have it connected together with a distortion pedal, do you have to cancel the distortion or just by activating the Mel9 pedal the distortion is already canceled by the pedal itself? thanks greetings.
You should connect it this way: guitar - mel9 - distortion - reverb. When you activate the distortion together with mel9 on, the mellotron sound will be simply distorted. If you eq it in the right way it's a lovely sound

Perry, just a request man: I know that there are tones of guy ho use a pad, bells and 808 with the drum for Trap/rap beats, but me and some other guys like to make it with some more. I would be proud to use some ambient samples of this pedals in my set. You know you got me with this heavenly feelings bro. Best of luck man. Ps:I mean not loopings but one shots(short recording)

Why does the Mel9 have a different foot switch button on it? Is the foot switch clickless in this video? I wish the Mel 9 foot switch button was a soft click instead!
@@JCBigCat it has its limitations, but it is stuff from late 60s and it doesn't have it's own sound, it synthesizes other sounds. So it is a synthesizer in my opinion.
The frequencies are really mid and noisy imo. It's a fun gimmick for a guitar but for ambient music you need way more range. Maybe EQ would help but I doubt it since the frequencies are simply not there
I have a Mel 9 and you’re making it sound terrible. The Mel9 is a Mellotron pedal if you’ve forgotten. The settings you’re using on the BigSky are taking the essence of the glitchy Mellotron away.
