Really cool. I've owned a Mel9 for a few years. I bought it to fill up space in a band. I didn't realize the extent it could be used. I guess its time to get a Strymon. I wish there were videos of the Mel9 and the other simulation pedals in a band mix. There are a few but not many.

How do you like the mel 9 so far? I felt like i didnt like the sound but with ambience it is different.... How is latency? I think i will just get a sy 200 but the mel 9 has something that screams awesome even with all of its flaws.... And lets face it, OG melotrons werent exactly the most high fidelity, pretty things either.

@@PerryFrank mi confermi allora quello che pensavo vedendomi varie demo anche sugli altri pedali della serie. Spero un giorno di trovarlo usato, ad oggi mai trovato. Adoro il suono del Mellotron, questa è la via più economica per averlo: il synth ha un prezzo troppo fuori dalla mia portata!

@@PrimitiveInTheExtreme si, se parliamo del mellotron vero, per il modello più economico, siamo oltre i 1000 euro. Strumento per chi se lo può permettere... meglio imitarlo con la chitarra 🤣

I've got a Mel9 but it doesn't sound like yours....mine must be broken or something 😆 I don't own a Strymon, but I've got a Boss Space Echo, and a Mooer Ocean Machine so I might have to get the Mel9 out again with some delays, watching this has inspired me to have a go myself 👍

I have reviewed a dozen videos of Big Sky and Night Sky. Is there one you would recommend with the Mel9? I can't decide. I do have a use for it. I also have a C9 and have a chance to use that also with one of the Strymons. I probably will use the combo with both acoustic and electric guitars.

I don't like the C9, I think Mel9 is the best of that series. I use it with Bigsky

@@PerryFrank So you recommend Big sky over Night sky for Mel9, correct? I might find a use for the C9. I won't know until I get one of these reverb pedals. One thing that sounds real cool is to run the C9 thru a vibe pedal. It sounds like something from ELP.
