We need to make Stellar Blade win game of the year (GOTY) Why? The add attractive looking character in the game, something that western developers refuse to do. This game has been receiving knockback by people that don`t like the game coz of the way Eve looks (which is bloody stupid) but despite that the game has been successful. Kim Hung Tae has done an amazing job with this game, him and the team has put so much effort into the game like the lip sick between the English and the Korean version are completely different. And remember, they didn`t have to do this. They have been giving out free DLCs. They have given us over 30 outfits, what other game does that? The fact they made a hack & slash game in my eyes (which has been in the decline for some years now) is amazing. This if their first time making a console game and for the most part it`s a success. They didn`t just make a boring souls-like, they mixed it up with hack & slash elements, bringing people they like those genres to their game which was very smart of them. For the most part, they listen to want the fans want/ask for. I know people want to choose other games to win GOTY however if you do, nothing will change and no statement will be made. We need to make a statement to developers that what Shift Up are doing is what we want in videogames. Now if you don`t like Stellar blade that`s understandable however if you do I ask you to choose Stellar Blade for GOTY.
Imagine asking for games similar to Stellar Blade and someone recommendeds FFVii remake and Naraka 😂 You don't have to make a top 10 list just because it's standard format just pick the games that are actually similar
@@aaronatkinson177 old school ff7 fans would strongly disagree with you. Its definitely turned into an arpg. And the fandom also considers ff7 the least fantasy of damn near all of the final fantasy games barring 8 and 13. Its almost like everyone has their own parameters for how they define things.
Stellar blade is action hack and slash game. It plays nothing like a souls game. The combat alone is buttery smooth with tight controls. Dark souls games are janky, and completely different difficulty
@@aidankhaos7687 lmao not all souls likes are the same. Doesn't make it less of a souls like. You have a lock on camera and fight big bosses and have a dodge and parry. Sounds pretty souls like to me.
@@DrierHyperion21to be a “souls like” it needs to have stamina management which Stellar Blade dosent have. By the end of the game your so Op that you tear through enemies like butter and just have a blast seeing cool moves and animations. That’s the definition of a character action game or hack and slash. The only thing that even is close to souls like is the difficulty, that’s it
Some games on this list are NOT hack and slash games, but insted of complaining, Here is my list of some H&S games you can check out: Yasuke A Lost Descendent Soulstice Valkyrie Elysium Wanted: Dead Etenights Stella Blade Project DT Project M Lost Soul Aside Phantom Hellcat Arise of Awakener Granblue Fantasy Relink Shred & Tear: Explosive Kajun Phantom Blade SuperSimmer Astor: Blade of the Monolith There are a lot more that are out there, H&S games are really fun to play and I'm so glad to see more of them. Shouts out to hack & slash games, they are making a comeback.
Steller blade is not a hack and slash its a soulslike game lol idk whats wrong with people. You can immediately tell if its a hack and slash if you have to be patient and back away a lot Hack and slash your a badass that just rushes in and do combos with fast reactions. The reveal when Steller Blade was first shown THAT was a hack and slash but they changed it to a soulslike.
It is absolutely not a Souls like, just because it’s difficult and you die a lot does not make it one. There is no stamina managment, and that’s the key feature of being a souls like. By the end half of the game you can swing like crazy and use your skills to power through enemies like butter. It’s by definition a “character action game”
@danquaza9275 no its a soulslike stop lying to yourself. Yes towards the end you get tools to power through enemies and thats all it is, its tools. Other than that your playing it like a souls games. Well i disagree with it being difficult, but just because theres No stamina doesn't mean anything. Its still structured like a souls game, there are bonfire stuff with the camps, enemies revive, you have limited healing items and needing to upgrade more like a soulslike game. Its sad how people can't tell a hack and slash from a soulslike game. Go Compare Steller Blade to Ninja Gaiden or Nier than tell me whats hack and slash and whats soulslike.
Sekiro is better in my opinion, one of the few sword fighting games that isn’t just button mashing like the DMC games or the stuff made by Platinum Games.
