The danger with FLIP is no one would know if it was sinking... FLIP Crew: "Help, we're going down, SOS!" Lifeguards: "You're doing a great job with science. Keeping doing science!" FLIP Crew: "Glug glug glug..."
Old ideas that have been around very long time, just rehashed newer versions, or at least tried to. The screw drive vehicle been around since the early part of the 1900's, and still does the same thing. Tears the shit out of anything it runs over.
Most of these things have been around for decades. The screw-propelled vehicle alone has been around since the late 1930’s. The Toyo Tire Ferret was a one-off promo vehicle to show off Toyo’s new off road tires in July 2016. There’s really nothing here that I personally would call ‘amazing’.
Its a BvS10 Called a Viking in UK service. Its from Sweden. It comes from the Bv 206 which is from 1980. Both the BvS10 and Bv 206 are still in service
phiffion. Thanks. I knew it was from that area. I think I thought it was Norwegian because it is used by the Royal Marines when they are in Norway. Didn't a British team cross from Alaska to Siberia in something like that screw vehicle several years ago?
Holy cow, greed rules your content! How many ads did you need? Maximum allowed or what! It’s not enjoyable when you have more commercial than content ffs!
