Your exactly right. My Boston Ozzy is such a good boy.I’ve been battling colon cancer for 4 years and it’s not going good.So I got my wife a Boston for Christmas in case something happens to me and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made.he’s such a momma’s boy😊
You're going to LOVE IT!!!!! 💜💜💜 💯 My fiance grew up with a whole house full. We had 2 but 1 passed. I really want another one!!! They are just precious!!!
After 15 years of life with Boston Terriers, I feel the void now having none. They are the very best, most loving companions. Sadly, my husband doesn’t want anymore dogs period as losing them is too painful, and it is difficult to make travel plans if you have one ( I had three at the same time at one point.) I still want another one! 🥲
I had to let go my 15 years old Boston Terrier Kikine last week. It was heartbreaking... She has been a wonderful dog all these years with the best personality.
Boston Terriers are the best dogs you can ever own at least for me you do laugh and they keep you so alive and they're so loving I wouldn't know what to do without my cocoa
I have my second Boston now & she is 14 yrs. old and I love her so much. Boston’s Are the Perfect Dog, they are loyal, loving & smart. Yes I will own another Boston!♥️
YES. List is pretty spot on. If you are thinking about getting a Boston, the question you should ask yourself: AM I (OR WHOEVER) DESERVING OF A BOSTON TERRIER? Please consider the many great BT's out there in need of rescue.
We had our Boo for 14 and a half years. We had to put her down in 2019 and miss her everyday. Eventually we will get another Boston. This video is spot on for what we experienced with Boo.
Because of your vids, I got my first Boston Terrier last weekend. And to say that I’m in love is an understatement. Jigo, my BT, is just the sweetest!!! He sleeps beside me and loves for me to spoon him while he’s sleeping!
@@carlosdecastro6228 Hi! So I’m actually from the Philippines and dog prices are much cheaper here than in the US. I got my BT from a breeder and it only cost me about 250 USD. :)
Yes. Love our 2 Bostons. Although they are a mixed breed (both parents Boston Terrier; dad mixed with Pug-Bug, and mom mixed with Shih Tzu-Boshish) they do both shed quite a bit. That could be from the mix breed though. One you would never know was mixed and appears to look pure Boston Terrier, and the other has the body, but not the Tuxedo markings. Both lovable, snuggles, playful and a ton of fun. Would definitely get another Boston if I had the opportunity later.
This solidified my reasoning for getting my Zeus. He is amazing and I can't be any happier having him (unless I get another BT.). He embodies everything mentioned in this video.
We said good bye to our 16.5 yr old ShihTzu Oscar two years ago and are thinking that it’s time for a companion to fill our hearts with joy. The Boston Terrier is at the top of our list and this video was helpful information adding confidence that the breed would be a fit for what we are looking for.
My wife and I just lost our sweet Boston lady after 12 + years two weeks ago. She wondered into our yard with no tag and no chip and the vet said she was about a year old. We still have a hole in our 💕 that needs to heal before we get another. And we will.
BTW - I love watching your vids. Thank you. My Stella is a "squeaker" meaning she squeaks when she wants my attention about anything - love, food, ball, she's bored, whatever. It's lovely to have my loving companion.
How much do you typically spend on a Boston pup I’m having a hard time finding them near me the only place being the pet stores and they’re ridiculously priced there
Just recently adopted a 3 year old BT. She is well trained, but her recall is not good. We have only had her a week, and she has run off twice now. What are some tips for training recall? Also, she has started ignoring me.
My Boston is GREAT! I love his cuddles, his wiggles and his gentle nature. We have a a Pug and she is like a little bossy bully to my big dogs and us very barky I didn't want another little tyrant so we got a Boston and he's fantastic. Quiet, Smart, focused, and the sweetest boy. Low maintenance, loves to fetch and quite a leaper. I wouldn't get any other breed small dog again.
So, compared to my basenji... yes she barks alot but that is because Búraló couldn't bark. That being said, compared to my parents jack russell, it ain't no thang
I love BTs! I have my third, Stella, who is now 1 year old. RIP and hope Brady and Maggie are playing on the Rainbow Bridge and waiting for me. Anyway (just had to do the shout-out to Brady and Maggie) this is the best dog for me because she is playful, but cuddly too. She does love to go for walks (as did Brady and Maggie), but not for long walks. Maggie used to just stop at about a half-mile and insist to be carried home. Stella is a great companion. She follows me everywhere. Some like swimming pools. I couldn't keep Brady out of the pool. Maggie - nothing doing. Cool her off, fine, but then she wanted out. Stella? TBD.
Just adopted a less than one year old Boston from Oklahoma B/T Rescue today! I love the character in this breed of dog……Most lovable pet you can raise…….and smart as a whip!!
I just lost my Boston terrier at 14 years old, one of the hardest things I’ve ever been through. She was so smart and so loving, and also very protective of me. But when I accepted someone she accepted them and wanted to play with them she was never mean, but very protective until I accepted them.
I lost my Boston of 14 years last year. I am in NEED of another! The absolute best years were spent with her. Her name was Bella as well. I don't know where to begin to find one. I've searched all of our local shelters in order to adopt, but I've had no luck here in Las Vegas NV. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
My male Boston (8 y.o.) has been very aggressive toward bigger dogs since he was about one year old. In fact, he'll try and attack any bigger dog he can get to. I wish I knew how to break him of this because he's perfect in every other respect, and I know he'd be happier if he could romp and play with other dogs at the dog park instead of being all agro.
Life is always better with a Boston. I have two, and had another two who passed. I work with two BT rescues doing homes visits. This video is so accurate, thank you! If you have ever seen the dodo video of the BTs trying yo link the slug on the outside of the window, those are my goofballs
Sometimes is my Boston aggressive, and wild , out of control and love to EAT ,but we love him VERY much.He is my second Boston, both male. Kamilla Canada
My three year old Boston is sometimes aggressive with other animals. He will do the guard dog bark with larger dogs he meets on walks or in public places. (It is embarrassing) he has only barked, never approached to attack but the bark is pretty vicious. He also wants to terrorize cats. I try to introduce him to them but so far he is not liking it. Any ideas?
Great video. My boston barks at the dryer, at thunder and when someone comes to the front door. She usually cries after she barks. I have 5 dogs and that's enough for me but if I was in the market for a new dog, I would get a Boston.
I actually own a Frenchton. Got him and he acts so much like a Boston, it practially fits his personality to a T. Huge cuddler, barks at me only when playing or when a stranger comes to the house, though he does have some anxiety issues.
I agree life is better with a Boston. My baby makes me a better human. The bond isn't just with me but my friends and family as well. Pug is such a gentleman everywhere he goes. He has such great manners. If I show up anywhere its expected that pug will be with me and if hes not they want to know where he is. I do not leave him alone ever because he is 8 1/2 years old and was owned by a 91 yr old housebound lady so if I have to go without him I get a babysitter that he knows well and is comfortable with. They're almost human sometimes???!!!
i just found a boston terrier on the street i chased him down and he gave up halfway and layed on some grass , and i was trying to get him with snacks and eventually i got him and brought him home , he’s sooo skinny he looks like he’s been lost for almost a week but he’s so sweet and he still had the energy to play ): he adapted to us really quick it’s only been a day and he’s really energetic , i’ve always had lame dogs and this is my first Good dog😂😂 he’s so energetic and playful and sensitive to the food i gave him i’m so lost on what to feed him and everything I believe he’s like 2-4 years old
My little Boston she was great with kids she loved them and she loved my little granddaughter a whole lot even when she went blind she could find my granddaughter no matter where she was their great dog and no they don't bark much for a while there I thought she was mute
I love that my Boston’s want to snuggle and would in a millisecond go on a walk. Very versatile dog. They are pure love. Really like how mine are happy just to be with me in any situation. Best dogs I have ever owned!
My Boston is my other child, she is the best thing that ever happened to our family! She listens so well, like she is human. I understand her more than my 3yr old!!! Haha🐾💕
