Dennis Blalock WOAH ARE YOU TRYING TO ABUSE RU-vid UR JUST 3 YEAR OLD CHILD IDIOT, NO ONE WOULD FALL FOR THAT!!!!!! =D (It's a joke for those that don't know)
I tried the last one. the one with the two matches and the coin. IT worked! It took forever to make the matches lean on each other but it was incredible at the end. Proud of myself! ^_^
Funny...I started moving it the way the video said...but the finger thing with the hand laying on the table was no problem and I thought it was something to do with playing guitars for so long...although I'd imagine a classical guitar player can do it much easier and further because of the years of finger independence exercises they've done.
Monira Shawkey Son of the boot. WOW - that's got to be some cultural reference I don't get. Is it related to the whole sole of the shoe thing? I'm genuinely curious?
Burning the house down and then using a metal detector. Get someone else to grab the coin for you. Use something to poke the matchstick off the coin. Use a rubber band to flick the match off the coin.
1:54 I'm sorry but it's easy to do :P Do it with the middle bone of your second finger on the table and it's a bit harder but still possible. But do it with just your nail on the table and it's possible and easy. Just wanted to get that out there because everyone's saying it's impossible :3
Amazing demos. The only one I knew was called "Two hymns and a song." Once lit the match was referred to as 'Lead kindly light" (Hymn 1). When the match resting on the coin lifted up it was referred to as 'Horsy put your tail up' (Song) and the then the coin was picked up, put into a pocket while saying 'Abide with me' (Hymn 2).
+Emilia Backstrom if you search at youtube for "Quirkology music" you should end up in the video "Quirkology Music - A Tribute to Richard Wiseman", by TerabyteStudios, which is the song he uses in most of his videos. here: /watch?v=r78ZsIZGSW0
That hand and fingers on the table one doesn't work for everyone, as I and other members of my family as well as some friends I know can still move their third finger.
Stephan Browne-Blackman Your lack of anatomy is amazing, if you had no tendons in your third finger you wouldn't be able to bend it at all. All four fingers share a common flexor which is more pronounced on the third finger and fourth finger. This is the reason why many people cannot move their third finger when doing this trick, because their common flexor is more pronounced on the third finger than other people.
Stephan Browne-Blackman not everyone can't do it... i can do it because my fingers are double jointed....i can't lift it as far as my pointer finger but it still lifts off the table
The hand on the table and moving your fingers one I cant lift my 3rd finder with out lifting my pinky and the second trick of the trick thing I cant life my 3rd one but while im trying to lift my 3rd my pinky lifts up
The fork and the spoon on the toothpick...set it on the rim of a glass and light the part of the toothpick inside the rim. My dad taught me that trick when I was little.
