This video has changed my life, in just one week i have hit up 10 different pubs and won over £3,000 with these bets. Thank you for this amazing video.
Richard did not 'figure out' these tricks. These are, as they say, "as old as the hills". Richard _was_ smart, however, to 're-introduce' these Betchas to a new audience by extracting them from old children's hobby books and magic books and demonstrating them with video recordings.
I followed the instructions but I ended up getting into a fight at the guy at the bar, charged with public intoxication, and am now in jail for 180 days.
It’s the weakest one. The clip was placed around three cards, one of which was the queen. Aside from that, I doubt someone wouldn’t slide the paperclip onto only the middle card initially.
The trick at 2:30 with the note and paper clips has the best effect with 3 clips, in my opinion. It works with 4 clips too, but the middle two just link side-by-side, instead of end-to-end.
1:49 Cop: why does your driving license smell like vodka Man:it was a majic trick I swear Cop:ok sure buddy you're going to jail Man:dangit it happened again
Gdolfz Xdeath The 4 of clubs takes up more than half the surface area of the front side, since it covers up most of the area of the other cards. It relies on the human fallacy that objects in the center of layered planes is the middle of the area, ignoring that the planes cover each other (based on their order), which can unbalance the surface area of each layer compared to its total area. You think that the middle of the area of the cards is the queen of diamonds, but the 4 of clubs covers it up.
It actually works, People will think the queen is at the front cuz if you look at it at the front, Its At the Back, So they will put it at the Back But they actually put it at the front. They litterally FLIPPED it
Here is a good bet: to start, take a piece of paper and fold it down the middle the long way. Decrease the paper. Next, pour a bunch of salt and pepper onto the piece of paper. Stir them around with your finger. Last of all, fill a glass up with water. Then have your friend come into the room. When they come in take a small dip of the water (this is not neccesary, but they will think the water is for drinking.) and make sure that the sip is small and will not take very much water out. Then bet your friend that you can separate the salt and pepper in less than ten seconds. Show them how well mixed the salt and pepper are. Then, when they bet on it, pour all the salt and pepper into the water (this is why you creased the paper) and the pepper will float on top, and the salt will sink to the bottom.
Think of a number one through 10. Multiply it by nine. Add the digits together. Subtract five from that sum. Find the letter of the alphabet that corresponds to that number (A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4, etc.) Think of a country that starts with that letter. Think of an animal that starts with the last letter of your country. Think of a color that starts with the last letter of your animal. According to The Internet, this is where I'm supposed to tell you "Come on, man, there aren't any orange kangaroos in Denmark!"

Here is a bet: Turn a glass cup upside down and tell your friend to balance your selected object on top of the cup. The thing is, your friend might balance it on the bottom of the cup since it’s upside down
