Megadeth is really great in making music, but sadly, the voice of dave mustaine is really annoying and that's the only thing fucked up the whole great band.
I agree 100%. Every other Megadeth fan worships the solo from Tornado of Souls, but Lucretia's is easily superior to me. Not saying that Tornado of Souls' solo is bad. OF COURSE NOT, it's legendary. But Lucretia's solo is perfection.
@@Incog2k6 for me it's killing road for his most under appreciated solo, or vortex. For Marty fans tornado, hangar and lucretia are recognised as his greatest.
@@Incog2k6 i don't really have a favorite guitar solo but what i like about Lucretia and TOS are very different. What I like about Lucretia is that it has this weird captivating melodic shredding where everything sounds just perfect and TOS just builds tension up from the very first note to the last second and the pay off is so satisfying.
I'm a simple man, I see Jason Becker, I click... And if there are Marty Friedman and Syu solos on top of that, that's an instant like Also, I really like your voice.
That Becker part, from Temple of the Absurd, is one of the most beautiful and brilliant things I have ever heard. Imagine the possibilities if JB hadn't gotten the disease that incapacitated him , he wasn't even 20 years old then.
Never in my life thought I'd see one of Syu's solos in these kinds of videos! Galneryus is criminally underrated. Knew I subbed to a legend from the start, keep it up man!
Fcking gates of Babylon, best rainbow solo. Your version is the best i've seen, (except for Blackmore himself, of course) it's Just magical ,and, incredibly ahead of it's time, Def on my top 10 solos. (And it's fcking hard)

Blackmore was definitely a guitarist who was ahead of his time, when people think of deep purple they think “oh yeah the easiest guitar riff ever” but I think Blackmore is very underrated for his time as a player
The solo in panetera's 'well meet again' from the power metal album will always be on my favourite solo list, Dimebag's solo's we're beautiful. James murphy's solos in the cause of death album by Obituary are unbelievable as well.
I've gotta tell you, then I saw Blackmore on the thumbnail I legit thought you would pick up a solo from Deep purple since he is best known for his work with that band, or maybe if it was Rainbow would be stargazer, but never crossed to my mind Gates of Babylon, which is my favorite Rainbow solo. Amazing, you played it on your way and didn't try to play it like the record, it really hard to play it like in the album cuz it might sound easy to play but it isn't. Criminally underrated solo and guitarist.
Dude, Ron Thal is playn F-ing crazy. I've known Turn Around from a lot of time and that solo always gives me the "WTH is this" feel (in a positive way). I mean, it starts as an "average" rock song then turns into madness. Also, never heard of Galneryus, they're not half bad. Their name reminds me of some oldschool giant robot japanese anime. As for solos I think are underrated... I'd say "My Last Words" by Megadeth, Iron Maiden's "To Tame a Land" and "The Nomad", White Lion's Transformers theme (from the old animated movie), Falconer's "The Return", Obscura's "Incarnated", Labyrinth's "Lady Lost in Time". Probably other songs but I'll stop here for now.
I just need to say: The Darkness "Permission to Land" is a criminally underrated album in the history of Classic 1st wave British Heavy Metal Revival. Great Song, Great Album, Great Band, and most of all Great Cover!

damn! someone that actually likes all that remains solos! I just LOVE them, i feel like Oli Herbet is basically what i enjoy in guitar solos. I just love most of solos from him. Brendon Small, Marty, Jason Becker, and some other guitarrists are pretty loved ones for me.

A lot of people thought of them as a "joke band", but WHAT IS THE PROBLEM of doing something FUN? Before i forget, i just recently got to know ur channel, and i really like what u do. U2’s Bullet the Blue Sky and Porcupine Tree’s Deadwing are incredible and never talked about. Alex Lifeson’s solo on Limelight is great, as is Michael’s solo on Opeth’s Windowpane.
Great, great playing, sir! One of my favorite guitar solos of all time at the end of My Sharona. It's not a very complicated solo, but it has hooking melody and great energy.
I was so happy to see the Rainbow-Gates of Babylon solo. I was thinking literally a minute ago some underrated solos. Like all of Richie Blackmore's Rainbow stuff seems to get looked over a bit. Then Boom!, there it is. HaHa. Another really great underrated/unknown solo is Michael Schenker's solo on the song Broken Promises.
@@BradleyHallGuitar you know coming to think of it, the entire Wall Of Sound is just a gem after a gem kinda album. If you want a really ridiculous challenge that nobody in their right mind should ever consider then play Last Laments last 2:30 minutes but backwards!

Maybe a video on trem bar techniques? Dive bombs and squeals are one thing but the thing where you like flick the bar is an awesome technique, I just can't seem to get it. And loved the Rainbow solo, brilliant.
Yngwie malmsteen's guitar solo in miracle of Life has unbelievable passion incredible speed with awesome melodic tones. It is quite powerful no one seems how to throw passion with arpeggios and scales the way yngwie does it this is one of his best examples. This solo has a great balance between melodic and super speed. No one else sounds like this. Not even close

This list can be made by just any solo by Annihilator’s Jeff Water. He is a top 10 metal guitarist of all times imo, and Annihilator is also a really underrated band

While everything is subjective, I only agreed to your list 3 out of 10....in my book, the best solos are the bendy melodic ones (with some breathing space) and occasional technical flurries. Kinda like the Gary Moore /George Lynch /Marty Friedman approach
Tales of the Magician is one of my all-time favorite power metal albums, also with some of my favorite guitar solos ever. The band and album aren't well-known in general, but it has some very well written solos on it. Prime Evil and Dark Ritual have some of the best on the album, but the solo after the piano section in Crossing the Last Gate contributes to the story of both the music AND lyrics so seamlessly it is magnificent. And I was pleasantly surprised to see Syu on the list. He's one of my favorite solo writers and has so much awesome and ridiculous stuff like the Angel of Salvation solos, and so on.
Yeah! And New Legend it's my favorite, but the best part, at the final of the solo, some classic influences, didn't play but the fact is Galneryus is on the list and all doesn't matters.
