From what I remember about JC Leyendecker, his sister was one of his recurring models, and his partner was mostly his male model. Good job btw, even though I'm not familiar with all the artstyles.
This is so cool! I don't know if you'd be into this but I think the styles of Cartoon Saloon (like "wolfwalkers" or "song of the sea") would be really cool with this kind of challenge!!!
Despite the Leyendecker render not being as close to his style as you would like I still think it turned out really nice! You did a good job with the colors and I really love the way you rendered the curls. They look kind of geometric next to the soft face and I just really liked that look. Good Job!

I can’t get it out of my head that Jane looks so much like Eleanor from the old Alvin and the chipmunks in some of theses styles especially naramis specifically the 2000s show, Meet the Wolf man and Meet Frankenstein and such
