im surprised but happy that im not the only one who thought of this 😭🩷 no one i know ever knows what i talk about whenever i mention it cause most of my recent friends grew up with anime, so its pretty refreshing to know that i encountered a person who's watched/heard of the show, especially the older version :)

I can’t get it out of my head that Jane looks so much like Eleanor from the old Alvin and the chipmunks in some of theses styles especially naramis specifically the 2000s show, Meet the Wolf man and Meet Frankenstein and such

I saw Sarah Kay's artstyle and immediately thought of Holly Hobbie (who I originally thought was your design inspiration) so now I got some more art I need to look at!
That last one was an absolute banger. Once the final came in I was blown away. That feeling when a piece is in the ugly stage for so long is a very difficult one but you trusted the process and made something that I'd love to put on my wall.
This is so cool! I don't know if you'd be into this but I think the styles of Cartoon Saloon (like "wolfwalkers" or "song of the sea") would be really cool with this kind of challenge!!!

Despite the Leyendecker render not being as close to his style as you would like I still think it turned out really nice! You did a good job with the colors and I really love the way you rendered the curls. They look kind of geometric next to the soft face and I just really liked that look. Good Job!
