It was revealed in the comics, the AC2 glyph puzzles, and on the wiki that the Templars are responsible for WW2. They gave both Hitler and Roosevelt Apples of Eden to start the war, that way Abstergo could take control of the working populace. That means they’re behind the Holocaust and all the other horrors of WW2, just so they could make more money. And yes, some Assassins were working with the Templars during WW2, but only some of them. Hell, it says on the wiki that the Hitler who was cremated was actually a decoy and the real Hitler was killed by the Assassins. The Templars are not the good guys.
@Anthyrion
@Anthyrion Год назад
If i remember correctly, all the Templars want is pure order. Creativity only if it's benefits them and only in strict boundrys, so that they can still control it. Look at the world population as some of sort of highly trimmed tree in some rich guys garden. If a gardener doesn't control it, the branches grow chaotic and in every direction. And if the population grows to much, they cut the unnessecary branches from the tree. So all the weird guys talking about some "great reset" might be true in the AC World. Yet alone in China are living nearly 1 billiion people, 8 billions is the estimated world population. Even with all their might and money, the Templars can't control that mass, so that a small restart could be good for them. I could imagine, that in the AC World, the Templars tried to make that reset with the war in the Ukraine and hoping, that this war would become a war on global scale, but overestimated the russian army
@hansentheman8084
@hansentheman8084 Год назад
@@Anthyrionso what you’re saying is that it’s ok for them to kill six million innocent people in the Holocaust and millions more in the war just so they can “have a reset?” Doing all that to maintain order doesn’t justify it. They’re literally killing MILLIONS OF INNOCENTS to do it.
@Anthyrion
@Anthyrion Год назад
@@hansentheman8084 In their view, yes. For them, it is all about control. From a normal human perspective, it's a horrorfying scenario. But i really could imagine a scenario, where the Templars try to make a new World War. Some chosen ones (Templar Members, Politicians, Rich People and People, who are usefull for them) would be secured in Shelters, while the rest would go down in the nuclear fire

The one used in 3 may have been able to help desmond but the the only reason we got to see clay is because of the memory core taken from abstergo in the 2nd game. My idea is that Desmond and layla are Adam and eve because clay says in the brotherhood truth find eve under the tree. So ive got the idea that they figure out different ways to end the circle of the sun destroying the world, while they time travel back to assassins creed 1 and learn different ways while desmond is in the animus. So they remake ac 1-3 just how they were but the modern day is desmond with layla in abstergo trying to change what happened in ac 3,while the real desmond is watched by lucy in the animus. Never mind Ac is dead Mirage sucks and i have no hope that the series will become good again. at least we have ac1-3 and the thought what could have been

I only recently got to playing Valhalla (really enjoying it despite the hate towards it, though I feel the same about the other two RPGs), and this may be obvious but it struck me how Eivor experiences their visions is like a proto-animus, using chemicals to regress to the Isu days for them to experience the memories of Odin. I realise there's a different relationship there than the ancestral relationships used in the animus, but there's definitely a correlation there in furthering the lore of experiencing another person's memories through different states of consciousness.

What ubisoft is hiding from us is their ability to create a compelling side story that actually has lore and history and ties things together. They've done nothing with this stuff. I remember back in the day playing Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood and doing those glyph things. Trying to find the Apple in the old historical pictures. Reading about the histoy. Imagining all the conspiracies and what may have happened. What historical figures may have been a part of all this. It was amazing. Now it just sucks.

The everything is a simulation one was something I got hooked on back during origins because of the recordings u can listen to under each of the tombs. Essentially it means that the modern real world is like the matrix, it feels entirely real and is completely real but is still subject to a set of rules (physics as we call it) the catch is that the isu could see the ‘coding’ that forms the world and so they could control it like agent smith in the matrix. Some of these control devices are the pieces of Eden which bend the rules of physics bc the isu just understood how to.

Mainstream science actually says this is the probability (not just possible), that we live in a simulation. Some of you should really do some research on the themes of these games. They are not just made up! They use actual history and tell the other side of the story. A great place to start would would be the Sumerian culture. The ISU are the Anunna (Anunnaki), which basically were the gods (small "g") that were worshiped in World wide religions! Hence the Greek Goddess (Minerva) at the end of AC2 who was one of the "ISU", ie; Anunna. These are hidden truths, presented as fiction.
@saladninja69
@saladninja69 Год назад
I think of the story like this: Isu people and Isu era are like another world that exist before us, and their inner war and protection against the disaster is passing on to the current era through messengers, sages, pieces of Eden. Because the 7th method is all about reincarnation and maintaining memory, I'd like to say each Gods represent each "generation" of Isu: Christian in AC2, Egyptian gods in Origin, Atlantis and Greek gods in Odyssey, Aesir in Valhalla. In the past, the cause of existence of Templar/Order of the Ancient and Assassin's creed/Hidden Ones is because of the pieces of Eden, they both want the control the world in their own way and not really to protect the world from any catastrophe. In the present, the war between AC and Templar still exist but people from the present now also acknowledging the catastrophe (through message in the Animus, through sages), and so the assassin are trying to fight the templar along with protecting the world from any more catastrophe.

I loved this video. my longest ongoing theories were somewhat touched on in this video. let me explain. My theory was that juno was indeed the bad guy of the series. the games indicated as much and from what I played it seemed likely. however, I later found out she "died" in the comics which I felt was a little annoying and drastically undercut her potential. my theory maintains that she is still alive still making moves behind the scenes. for those that don't know juno has a visible and tangible existence in the IT infrastructure of abstergo during rogue. You can see hints everywhere. Keep that nugget in mind. Later in syndicate you learn that abstergo is trying to replicate isu bodies and tissues. my theory says that juno was going to make a new body and then reverse bleed effect herself into that body using the animus somehow. that way she can retain all her skills and potentially her powers as well since the body is isu. then...she is able to commence with her plain of wiping the world clean and starting over as the THE isu. this would then lead the assassins and templars to join up and stop her because if SHE destroys the world then their plans don't matter. no one wins, but her. Which is why we've been seeing assassins and templars join each other's sides so we can get both contexts so when in the modern day segments this alliance is made we understand what's at stake and how we got here naturally. BUT...she's dead now...allegedly. My sub theory to this was this is how they would revive desmond since as we later find out in the later games, abstergo found him and has been keeping him on ice for a while now hoping to use his dna material for "other" purposes. Reviving him seems the mostly likely option for them since he is so crucial to the overall plan. As the story stands now, Basim indeed be that driving force to have the respective forces join up. Right now there is no boogeyman to speak of, but there has to be one out there. Ubisoft needs to start implanting the end game to AC before long. We have to end this story somehow and I hope it's a good ending.

Not to mention, it was revealed in the comics, as well as the glyph puzzles in AC2 that the Templars were responsible for WW2. They gave both Hitler and Roosevelt Apples of Eden which they used to gain power. Why did the Templars do this you ask? To take control of the working populace and create the international monetary system. They were literally willing to sacrifice millions of innocent people just to make more money. And yes, some Assassins were working with the Templars who were behind the war, but only a few. Hell, it’s explained on the wiki that the Hitler who died in the history books was actually a decoy and the real Hitler was killed by a group of other Assassins. Proto templars tracked him down and killed him. His followers used the shroud to revive him and it possibly didn’t work and the shroud was lost. This is canon. He wasn’t the second coming of the Isu. If AC2 the "Truth" memory fragments are something to go by as well as sentiment in AC3 that both factions Templars and Assassin's have existed in one form or another for entirety of humankind's collective identity, we can see that "Templars" are descendants of Cain who appears to be (dare I say it) first "Templar/Ancient One". Garden of Eden within the AC lore can (and probably is) in one way or another cradle of Templar/Assassin never ending conflict. P.S There's way more to this theory and many other's as AC is a world of its own. There's only so much one can put into a sentence so that it doesn't become "Garden of Nonsense".

Kind of like avengers end game where very specific dominoes have to fall to save humanity with the simulations being run years before the extinction event happens in order to have time to alter the future. Who is running all these simulations inside simulations who knows? It could be remnants of the isu going through future predictions or humanity, I guess we'll have to see.

However, now ubisoft is just doing whatever will give them an excuse for more games, they never plan on finishing the present day story, they don't even seem to like the present day story. They even finished the Juno story in a comic, despite it being presented as a big deal. Theorising is pointless in this series

There was also them voice notes we could listen to of every day people calling their tv/phone companies to say they think they are been watched, listened to or hacked. There were so many deep theories I used to love them because it really got you thinking. Then suddenly Ubisoft stopped with all these things. I feel like Ubisoft dug themselves into a narrative hole with Desmond storyline so they ended up killing him and completely invalidating his existence other than some occassional nod or cameo of the original team. But there was so much gameplay potential. Guess what Ubisoft has that is close to Assassins creed in almost every aspect, but set in a modern world? Splinter cell. So they could have merged a bit of that with Desmond's side of things making the "modern" missions way less boring.

I don't know how much is it true, because I'm not an authority historian, but I noticed one thing. Everywhere where the brotherhood is active there is downfall of nations or countries. Bayek and Aya, first destroyed government of Egypt, second - of Roman Empire. Altair made it difficult for Arabic countries to stand up against Europe. Ezio destroyed a strong family, family of tyrants, of course, but again, Italy then didn't have such strong rulers with ambitious plans for country. And then there Constantinople. Edward, Shay and Connor made many troubles for colonisators - Spain, France and Britain have lost their direct authority in America. Frye twins just made bandits to rule streets of London instead of people of the templars and made things for Britain industry actually more difficult. But there is Shay, who was a templar, but he did his part for starting revolution in France. But France didn't do anything particular for development of northern colonies of America - they seek to make dependent people, not ensuring their prosperity. And brotherhood had strong bond with french government in this period of time and made many things for it. At least how Rogue is showing it. And one more thing. It's seems to me that the complex of these actions of the brotherhood indirectly prepared soil for both world wars. Does it means that A. H. was the result of brotherhood influence? It's would be weird to see brotherhood and the order to take actions against common enemy. Dictator who used both ideologies and fooled both sides to make his own world order. I think it's interesting point of view on conflict between brotherhood and the order

Spider alert ⚠️ Love the video.. but it has already been shown in Valhalla who the real bad guy is.. it's Alethia also known as Angrboda.. who is the one who brought Loki back to life so they can rule the world together and bring back their children. And Juno may have been killed in one form.. but Valhalla and Odyssey also showed that there are many clones, and many forms of the Isu, because Juno appears in Valhalla as Hyrrokin, the Jotun. Mother of Alethia aka Angrboda, and Gunlodr, who has yet to show herself again, other than when she was using the Elven machine in the cave under Suttungrs mountain. And it's also a theory that Suttungr could also be another form of Jupiter aka Zeus. It's easy when you think about it. Because in ancient Greece "Alethia" was thought to mean "bringer of truth" but her true name. "Angrboda" means "bringer of doom" and some think Juno used to be Hera, married to Zeus.. but others think its more likely Juno was a clone, or daughter of Hera, or daughter of Minerva, but Minerva couldn't have children which is why she was able to stay a virgin.. however they had cloning machines in Atlantis that could make a person from a strand of hair or single cell of DNA. I think Juno was daughter of Minerva aka Athena, making her Zeus granddaughter.. so doubtful that she was married to Zeus, but not impossible, but it also means the Jotnar "Giant Jotun" was not Zeus at all. And Zeus was more than likely Odin, or Thor. Or possibly Aeita.. but again doubtful, cos he was married to Juno, Zeus's granddaughter.. however Persiphone was married to her Uncle Hades.. so who knows? They did do incest as long it was fairly distant relatives. Like they didn't marry sister or brother.. but cousins and uncles etc was common among ancients and neanderthals. They literally didn't know any better. They wasn't as educated in some ways as we are now. We must not judge yesterday's people by today's standards.

Adolf Hitler was responsible for creating the Animi and his work was stolen within a scientific lab facility in Berlin, Germany, whereas Adolf Hitler was assassinated and his documents, manuscripts of beneficial blue prints indicating the origin and existence of genetic engineering and using the genome helix sigma signals to intervene past events. Basically (Copy and pasted from wiki) Early attempts During the 1930s, the Templars underwent the construction of a mysterious device in Norway using the Uranprojekt, the Nazi's atomic endeavor used as a cover for their operation. Led by SS General and Templar Gero Kramer, the project aimed to create a machine that allowed a user to view their ancestors' memories. Using knowledge obtained from an Apple of Eden to develop the device, the Order's main goal was to delve into the genetic memories of captured Assassins in order to locate the Pieces of Eden with which their ancestors had been in contact. ACCo Die Glocke Die Glocke in 1943 Initially designed by Nikola Tesla, Die Glocke was an anti-gravity system capable of generating a wormhole, which is a window on the past of the individual seated on the device's chair. Tesla was able to construct the machine by coupling his own inventions with technologies stolen from the Allies by the Nazis. The Apple of Eden was also integrated into Tesla's invention with the energy produced by the heavy-water reactor being channeled into it. A dozen times bigger than what would become its successor, Die Glocke earned its name because its central part had the shape of a bell. By 1943, the proto-Animus was operational with Kramer using it on himself. However when the Templar tried to use it on the Assassin Eddie Gorm, something went horribly wrong. Due to Gorm's 21st century descendant Maxime reliving his memories in the Animus at the same time the machine was activated, their consciousnesses were switched across time and they woke up in each other's bodies.

Most of these are at least plausible but I think 2 are straight up wrong... kinda. I'll start with the one that's "definitely wrong." The Templars are NOT "THE good guys." Based on their methods and stuff. Unless you argue that the ends always justify the means, the idea is just absurd. They simply aren't pure evil. The world is more complicated than that, both in game and irl. As they say, "it's not only black and white." They may sometimes do good things or have good intentions... and you could argue Shay was pretty much a good guy... and at least the Assassin Grand Master at the time was bad. Though he didn't start that way. He got corrupt. Go figure. Similar to Al Mualim. It's almost like, and this is a total shock... The world isn't that simple. Ooh. As for the other theory, the reason I say it's not "definitely wrong" is I believe they may retcon it so the theory is accurate. Or perhaps already did? But I don't believe the Creed initially "predicted" the Animus not applied to that. Why would it? I mean, with all Altaïr learned, he could've... but we didn't learn about that until the 4th game, Revelations. No way it applied to the Animus during the 1st game. If you could point to other evidence, besides the Creed (and not use the Creed as supporting evidence), I'd find the theory far more plausible. And even though I don't believe the Creed originally applied to the Animus, and honestly I'd say like 85% chance it still doesn't... I still find the theory plausible with a very minor retcon. They don't even technically need to "retcon" previous games in an obvious way... they just need to pretend it was the idea all along and "retcon" their intentions. It would be an out-of-universe retcon, really lol. Which might just be a first. Of course, we can't know for sure I'm right, probably. I'm not an original Dev, nor do I know any. I have no way to ask them, and I'd think most others don't, either. Plus, how many would know the original intent there? A writer? Game director, maybe? Would they even remember at this point? Was it important enough not to forget? And even if someone could ask them, can we get that answer in a MojoPlays Confirmed Theories video or something so I might learn if I'm right or not? Lol. I'll just continue operating as though I'm correct until proven otherwise. After all, I thought I was wrong once... but I was mistaken. I'm right 97% of the time so who cares about the other 4% anyway?
