I'm currently really liking Harmonist Moon Glory and I agree that a little goes a long way. I find it to be more fruity floral on my skin and not very powdery, but I love the way that it dries down when the amber and woods come out more. Great list!

I really enjoy Florals, I have Oud Jaune, Carnal Flower and Cassili, quite like them, Carnal Flower being almost too intense. I just got Accento Overdose and I still don’t have a fully formed opinion about it. Now I want to try the Strangelove one, Champaca is a nice flower. Great video, tks!!!

You’re speaking my language! Hehe! Oud Jeaune is on my list to try. I wore Carnal Flower when it 1st came out. I just got the discovery set for Strangelove, because I watched the Instagram interview. I think Lost in Flowers was the only floral perfume I liked. I haven’t had a chance to try the Oud properly. I’m not sure if the Parfums de Marly are worth it? They seem a bit overhyped. You made me buy Halley. Love it! Thank you!

Man thanks to you ....I fell in love with Maison Francis Kurkdijan Ala Rose which is my spring summer scent, next choice is Parfume de Marly Delina and I use Louis Vuitton Attrape Revee for cooler fall seasons

Good line up, Sebastian. Definitely must get samples of each, especially #1! I wear lots of florals - Mancera Black Gold, Mancera Sicily (fave part is the floral mid), Mancera Aoud Blue Notes, Mancera Aoud Violet, Amouage Lyric Man, Cartier Declaration D'un Soir. And because of a reviewer's list, I just received samples of the top 3 in his list - - Perris Monte Carlo Jasmin de Pays, Stephane Humbert Lucas Panthea Iris and Stephane Humbert Lucas Soleil de Jeddah (which is beast mode as it projects, at least 3ft [I bought 4mls, put them on a table, sat 3 ft away and could smell the fragrance from its unopened decant bottle]). Thanx for the shopping list ☺.

Great list Sebastian! I love florals and I’ve had a chance to try some of these. When in Paris, I almost got Secrete Datura but only got Ambre Precieux, and next time, I need to hit up Dusita. Some of my favorite florals right now are from this house called fūm Fragrances. I have and love Nerola and Aloha Lei (reminds me of plumeria during a visit to Maui). Others include Delina and there are quite a few rose fragrances that I love like POAL.

I recently tried Diors Souffle De Soie. Really liked it a lot I found it very unisex, it was on the light side which led me to buy Reflection Man by Amouage , Drama Nuui 23 Pierre by Guillaume Paris, and a few others. Would you be willing to suggest some Jasmine influenced fragrance that are unisex, lean masculine, or even slightly feminine but isn’t loaded with anything bu florals.

can I ask your expert opinion, if I have a new bottle of a winter fragrance, is it important to keep it close, or it does not affect the shelf life if I use a few sprays? basically I am asking if first sprays of a bottle gets to "start the clock" on its shelf life or not.

No it does not start the clock. Just keep it in a dark, dry, cool place and it should last a lifetime. Make sure the temps do not fluctuate much! :)

I am a woman and have always hated floral perfumes until this last year. I’m liking the thick chewy tropical florals the most, or light but realistic, but I can’t stand anything that smells like a generic floral perfume.

I cannot justify the price on Oud Jaune. Sampled it, it just smells as blunt and synthetic as shower gels at Target. Maybe my nose needs more training...
