Night Film goes so fast because of all of the mixed media/pics etc. It's so good. The vibes are impeccable.

I absolutely love I Who Have Never Known Men. One of my best books of 2023. I love The Thursday Murder Club series too. So excited for you to give it another go! I'd like to read The Library at Mount Char too ☺

Ahhhhh I loved Night Film! It was a rare spooky book where I was actually looking over my shoulder and getting goosebumps while reading it. I'm due for a re-read. I hope you enjoy it!

omg girl you gotta read Night Film asap! 😄 don't be intimidated by the page count - it has some mixed media and is a super fast read.. I read it in 4 days and 3 of those days were work days. I was obsessed and didn't want it to end. It felt like a movie playing in my head. Make sure to read the Note to Reader at the end of the book for some fun bonus stuff! ❤

I can’t believe you haven’t read Secret History or Night Film. They’re two of my all time favorites. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. I couldn’t get into Thursday Murder Club.

Love the idea of setting goals around not-new-releases. I think it's best to go into I Who Have Never Known Men knowing as little as possible. I really loved that book, it's really stuck in my head. Hope you enjoy it too!

oh yay The Thursday Murder Club!! i hope you love it!! i've heard lots of international people say that the audiobooks helped them get the references/humor etc! also i'm hoping to get to Night Film this year and I'm also intimidated by the size haha

I really liked "I who have never known men". And "Sometimes I Lie" was baaaad imho. Thursday Murder Club is hard to get into, but it is worth it. I will add many of the other books mentioned to my TBR. Thanks!

I loved A Secret History. I just picked up Brother and Sometomes I Lie as well. I am behind in all the books and trying to catch up. All my TBR is pretty much back list 😅

I read The Devotion of Suspect X a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it, it's one of the most unique crime/mystery/thriller books I've read!

I love The Thursday Murder Club series but I do recommend also listening to the audio book, I tried to read it twice just physically and couldn't get into it till I had the audio to go along with the book.

The Thursday Murder Club is really special on audiobook. Once you get invested in the characters, you'll be hooked. I wasn't hooked until book 2, but the first book is still good.

The Library at Mount Char was such an unexpected book... I still don't know how I feel about it now and I read it last year. Definitely wasn't what I was expecting but not sure if that was a good thing or not.

Love this! 2024 is going to be my year of backlist books. I'm not too excited about new release thrillers, and I want to get back to the nostalgic time when I go into reading 3 years ago and was reading all the popular thrillers. I would also like to read The secret History, Brother, and Night Film

I actually just read the secret history this year I read it in September and it was very fascinating I think you'll like it but I know you're not going to like any of the characters but that's the actual fun of it I think!

I own a copy of Brother on my kindle and I have a kindle & physical copy of Night Film! I read on my kindle more so I’m wanting to get to both too! I always get kindle deals so I couldn’t pass up Night Film. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!!

The Secret History is really good but has verrrry long chapters.. so heads-up on that. There are "page breaks"/pauses though so you can use those for pacing.
