You can just use a mason jar with a coffee filter over it to catch/filter bacon grease to reuse.. Thats what I do and the coffee filter gets all the small particles

I like the bacon press the best. Those microwave racks may cook the bacon well, but I would dread cleaning up all the bacon splatters in the microwave.

I bought the Fry Wall myself and found it to be to small as well. I cut like a inch off the bottom and it was ok. So I cut an extra half inch off of it and it was perfect! Give that a try and put it to the test again.

I think for the last bacon gadget you are supposed to put the bacon around like you did but then put the other mould on top so the bacon is pressed together inside it,then put it in the microwave.

So far you've prompted me to buy a couple of those foldable water carriers for my caravan, and one of these silicone bacon grease drainers (I like it with some bits left in!) I already have one of the round splatter guard things and use it every day - it's the best one!
