Its quite literally impossible to beat. The ballista play the role of a Boss as well just stacked together to do max Dmg in 1 shot and take the most dmg from enemy Attacks. Its only fair. But its also Lore accurate Melania never known defeated so.

Allow me to disagree, the issue with Malenia es always the same: She can heal on hit!!!!!. It is the only thing that keeps her alive challenge after challenge.

@@dash83 She would be healing a *lot* less if they weren't all stacked up and getting hit at the same time. But yeah, she's balanced against players who have much less life to steal rather than all the sandbags here

@@dash83 you got it wrong too, the main reason why malenia keeps winning stuff like this is a combination of a few very unfair advantages some of which are entirely unique to her. the very first one is that a LOT of her moves have hyper armour, meaning she can not get staggered out of them, even though her poise is actually garbage. the second one is that malenia can't get stance broken while she has hyper armour, this happens to other bosses exclusively during phase transitions (like godrik chopping his arm off) for malenia it's every animation that has hyper armour, which she can actually chain with with zero vulnerable frames in between. the only thing that can interrupt malenias hyper armour animations are status procs, like bleed or frost. one thing that is entirely unique to malenia is that, in the rare event she actually does get staggered, she can cancel her stagger animation into a dash to escape, she can also cancel some of her attack animations into a block.

That's one-shot. The ten arrows hit within very short time. The first several hit him into cutscene and the last hits finished him

To be fair, in ballista is generally very effective against monsters in fantasy settings.

He actually deflected most of them. I knew he could deflect most sorcery, incantation, throwable, and bow projectiles, but I didn’t expect him to deflect the ballista bolts, and if I did, I would’ve figured they would explode in his face. Radagon’s a bit of a beast.

Malenia is lucky that she gets to siphon health with every strike. She actually would’ve lost we’re it not for the heals.

Tbf the fact that Elden Beast is a God doesn't make it powerful in combat, golden order created soldiers for that reason, don't expect something that has never fought before to excel in combat.

She is also a god, and was already undefeated before transcending into one

Would like to see if she didin't get lucky with the staggered firing timings and jump attacks letting her evade a few volleys..

And the broken healing she has.

Also since Malenia can be staggered, she won't receive the damage of 10 Ballistas cause of her s of being knocked back. It's why her and Gideon were able to tank more than 1 shot despite having lower health than the other bosses.
