Does it change anything if I am aware that I'm displaying these behaviors? I am lucky enough to have a mother who is spiritually awake so I've grown in this environment my whole life, so I've always been aware of these behaviors. I've not always considered them spiritual awakeness just normal behavior.

John is right, you should find out how to shield yourself, otherwise it will get more and more exhausting and that is not pleasant (been there). There are many ways to do that, for me, visualizing the magnetic field of the heart helped me best. When you feel like "hey, we don't know each other that well" when some stranger is walking by just too damn close to you, that is why you feel that way - other people, different vibrations, not all good. Find out what works for you, visualizing things or colors or both or something entierly different; eventually everbody finds what works best for them. You'll get there, too.
YES! If I am too drained I can get headaches and feel exhausted. I don’t like big crowds. Unless it’s a crowd of people that are likeminded, but even then I can get overwhelmed with so many energies.

The vast majority of people will drain you of all vitality if you allow yourself to be completely without boundaries to the needs of others. They are like a drowning person who clings and struggles with a rescuer until they create a serious situation for both. Know your limits.

This is true I had my awakening through meditation the day after I walked through the local park on my way home from work. Every dog I passed came running over. I couldn't understand why they were so attracted to me. I walked past a lady that said it's really weird as her dog wasn't listening to her atal.
I am an Empath and NOBODY ever asks me for advice. The main reason for this is because since I'm not financially successful, they assume that I'm an idiot. I talk to my plants, very good with animals and birds. I can tell when someone is upset and I can read ppl physically and can tell emotionally. Sad ppl sometimes make me sad
I talk to the trees...yep..not embarrassed either. I've always, always had such a love for these beautiful creations since I was a child. And I do think that they can communicate as well in their own way. I just derive so much comfort from trees, any kind of tree. I talk to animals as they are the best listeners and always, always comfort the best they know how. And finally, my writing is what saved my sanity. Writing either in a journal or even just scribbles on scraps of paper every now and then can be life-saving!

Well, I'm a young 71 yr old and, since a very young age, I felt I didn't belong in this place [ I didn't have a world concept view yet ]. My favorite thing to do was to go in the backyard at dusk [winter comes early] and gaze up at the stars, while swinging on an old wooden board attached to a thick rope my Dad made or lying under a tree and watching the sky. I couldn't understand or explain the yearning and longing for somewhere else, so I've never said anything. I was always curious and before I ever went to any school, I remember spreading a newspaper out on the floor and bugging my mother to tell me what the words were saying. Unfortunately, I had a narcissistic / sociopathic mother and alcoholic parents. I was told basically not to bother her and that I would learn when I went to school. I remember feeling sad. So, 9/10ths of this video is me. I am a retired RN, loved and still do love helping people, even strangers I may meet in a non clinical setting.
I grew up on a farm and felt just like you did. I did not belong here. I did not want to be here. Yet 54 years later here we are making the best of the situation by becoming a productive law abiding citizen. Trying to be a good example for my kids.

What religion provides which is not included in this list is 1) What to do and who to turn to when tested with a calamity? 2) What happens to us after die and how to prepare for that? Also there is a huge distinction between religion and the people following the religion. I agree the majority of people claiming to follow a religion today have issues but it's not because religion is the problem but rather not following it. I know righteous people from different faith and they are all selfless, consistent, and amazing but they are few unfortunately.

Wars in the Middle East lasting centuries, Gay camps that have a higher suicide rate than successful conversion rate. If there were to be a devil, religion would be it. The right answer to number 1) friends and family. And 2 doesn’t have an answer, it has a mistake in your version) it doesn’t teach you what happens, it suggests one possibility. A pipe dream possibility at that. I have tried multiple religions on multiple occasions and found nothing but judgement from my peers, hypocrisy, and social politics, and through that, I have found If you need religion to be a decent human being, then you are NOT a good person, you’re a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
Also, most religions when practiced traditionally, the man OWNS the woman, and she obeys or gets punished. I don’t support anyone who thinks they’re better than or should have control over another human being. Religion is a mental illness that for some reason is ok to leave untreated, when it should be. Personality disorders are real, and schizophrenia is dangerous when left untreated. I hope people start seeking real help for their problems instead of putting a superficial band-aid over their wounds.

Another level of spiritual awakening is discovering what love actually is, an unconditional love for everyone, and being able to see it in those rare few that practice it. It can be seen in one's eyes, and of course their personality. This includes an awareness of one's own energy field and what they are projecting outward, if in fact they are projecting their own energy (and not someone else's) and mindful of if their energy is positive or negative. To be able to treat everyone with unconditional love even if one doesn't like the other is a rare quality, and if more people could do this the world would heal a lot faster. A good start in this is not looking for those qualities one doesn't like in other people, but rather run counter to that thinking and focus on something you do like until something is found. Not judging is another good first step, default judgments are a detriment not only to the rest of the world but even more so to the one judging.

Right, and it gets worse when you actively strive toward finding and correcting behavioral and thought patterns within yourself that you find to be unsavory, because after a while it takes the guesswork out of analyzing people intentionally or instinctively. I've been this way my whole life, and sometimes it's irritating. I've got a good friend who's the same way, and it's nice, having someone to interact with who isn't so easy to read as most others; I feel a little closer to what most folks call "normal".

He graciously, lovingly, miraculously offers a way out of our sins and to Him, since we all will go on forever one place in heaven or hell. He doesn’t want anyone to go to Hell, He made each of us in His own image (each perfectly designed with unique aspects of and gifts from Him), and loves each very much. There's so many levels to spirituality that one's lessons never end. Just when you think you finished with one lesson you realize that you were only dealing with your perception of it and not the true lesson. I find that perception is the hardest battle we fight within ourselves.

To change your perception of reality, change your beliefs, which is most easily done through educating yourself, or just studying ideas that you take for granted. Yes, they are quite separate; spirituality is personal and subjective while religion is dogma. I have no problem with aspiring to Christ consciousness or the consciousness of any of the ascended masters really. It is what we should all strive for.

You can start the cycle at any part and the natural momentum will carry you along to the next part, then the next, and so on. Just keep in mind that we are all imperfect beings and always have room for improvement, so with every revolution in the cycle, your goal should be to do better than the last time. I find it helps to visualize it as a circular race track and the objective is to do better on each lap than the previous one.

This is so much of the truth. Your sense of being is so different that others always tend to believe that you have a higher opinion of yourself, thus never giving them the opportunity to understand you. You or well I forgive so easily and although I see right through the lies and wickedness. It is as though your heart sometimes wants to explode when you see how people suffer and when you feel the pain of others it is as though they stuck the knife into your heart as well. The alone time becomes your friend as you never become bored as their is so much to learn, it feels like time is never enough. Your voice of reason may sometimes be harsh yet they always return for more advice although they don't always follow it they seek comfort in your knowledge. Life is beautiful with all it's sadness and tears becomes so much a part of you that you would nit recognize yourself without it...
So much of what you wrote I feel too, Theresa. Most people bore me with the silly chatter. I want to listen to deeper thoughts and learn more, ask questions and apply it. I love being alone, too - and never feel "alone" as in abandoned. I love evenings after work that I do not have to go anywhere but home and often can't decide what I want to do first. :) Crazy to some people but I bet you understand. for me? i just have learned to feel emotionally cut off...and people fear that i have found...its like i can do something they cant....which i love...do you guys happen to know what a spirit keeper is?i happen to have this...its paranormal enities that most cant even sence...but trust me ...they are all around us protecting us

@@Jerrymc1975 programmed atheistic response with a refusal to try to understand. I find many people who give this response have had a trauma of sorts with conventional religion. If this happened to you I send love prayers and positive energy needed your way .
@@wendie8290 yes. AND some will just get angry to just "god bless you" or to prayer activity...but to them meditaion is ok. my knowledge, power and talents are the evidence of god exist. MY higherself know the love of Jesus is within me. WORDS, names what customs they are, i only mind my own 神
I know "woke" is labelled political as a way to ridicule and marginalize those who disapprove of racial discrimination, by those who believe it does not exist. But it does take an open mind and empathy to understand discrimination is a real problem in our society and it is hurting a large number of innocent people.
It’s strange. 35 years old and I’m just now finding out that there are people who think and feel as I, yet have never met one. :) I feel as though I have been spiritually awaken since I was a kid, just forget about it from time to time. Wow
I have suspected this might be the reason I love being "home alone" so much. Now I no longer need to be afraid or disturbed by my vivid dream time and memories that I felt so uncomfortable with. I am not understood, but at least I understand myself better now. Thank you.
Self awareness and honesty is a required step on the ladder of emotional maturity. Until that is realized, NONE of the explanation in the video is relevant.
I'm in my 70s....I've been 'connected' since I was a small child which got me thru decades of surviving. Awakening never goes away (unless you choose it to). For more than the last 2 decades I've been alone & love every singular moment. I've no t.v., stay mostly @ home, am still learning each day though I Hug lots, Hug often, whenever I am allowed. It comes easy to share & to listen to others. You'll never fill your brain to the limits, there's always more room. I dream & have visions & 'just know' 'knowledge', 'understanding' as well as 'comprehension' & it's so satisfying but there's still so much more I eagerly keep my heart/soul open to absorb. Keep an open mind, heart & please remember, "Love Overall Values Everyone" (ie Every iving thing, including yourself) as the lack of love is "Hate Advocates Terrible Emotions" (ie Events) which stunts growth & chokes the soul. Please, 'make it a great day' as it is a choice. HUGS2U lots.
