@MANCHESTER UNITED Dude im a football fan too, Real Madrid and Man City, but no one is talking about that sport here. This is baseball. We know football is the biggest sport, but that was unnecessary. You toxic Man U piece of shit, thats why Pogba is leaving and Ole is shit.
Actually not a horrible pitch at all, lets be men about the situation. If you don't like the guy, thats one thing, if you don't approve of his decisions in the White House thats another, but if he threw a good pitch or not... well thats not debatable bud, it was a perfect strike. It sounds to me like your may be butt hurt about another presidents short comings on the hill. Lets not overcomplicate things.
President Bush's at Yankee stadium deserves to be on there, probably #1. He went out there amid the most tense times since the Cold War in a FDNY jacket and threw a strike. Perfect baseball moment
@@tomitstube Along with all of Congress, who confirmed and agreed with the intelligence community findings on the nukes. In fact, two bipartisan investigations probed for evidence of that Bush somehow manipulated the findings of the intelligence analysis and said they found none. And Congress voted overwhelmingly for the action. They could have stopped it. But don't let that get in the way of your narrative. Revisionist history is a real problem. Low IQ people do not have the capacity to comprehend the concept of hindsight.

pretty much never liked the guy, but George W. Bush throwing that strike at Yankee Stadium after 9/11 in the midst of deafening “USA!” chants was by far the greatest first pitch moment I’ve ever witnessed.... gives me goosebumps every time.
Even if you hate George W. Bush. He threw out the greatest ceremonial first pitch of all time. Hands down. Sold out Yankee stadium, right after the 9/11 attacks and threw a strike.
Strangely enough, this moment was critical to his re-election. My teen age son, who was very much affected by the September 11 attacks, sat stone faced watching this pitch. After Bush delivered the strike, my boy stood up, looked me in the eye and said “Bush throws strikes”.
Wrong. The greatest first pitch ever was by George Bush in New York right after 9/11. The entire nation was watching and he nailed it. It was story book.
I'm surprised that George W. Bush's ceremonial first pitch at Game 3 of the 2001 World Series wasn't number 1, just weeks after the September 11th attacks. Many touching first pitches, but I dare say Bush's pitch ranks just a bit higher than the "zombie" attack.

Also his guaranteed right. And it's the right of the public to heap derision on him because he's an a-hole. Speech answered by more speech. As it should be.
The number one in my book is when Abe Lincoln threw it to Percy Jenkins who was playing for the Washington Slaveowners at the time. Right down the middle. A great day for him at the park as the war had just ended and he and Mary Todd were then going to see a play that night.
Agreed. Probably the greatest first pitch ever considering the situation and pressure. Plus It was a strike down the middle, from the mound. The secret service did not even want hime to go out and do it. But he went out, and throw it like an Alpha! It was inspiring. I remember wathcing it at home. Everyone stood up and cheered. We were brimming with American patriotism!
Yeah, that was a very accurate and important first pitch by Pres. Bush. If it were me, I might've done without the astronautical first pitch, cool as it was.
Richard -- it's nice to show good ceremonial first pitches instead of the bad ones that are played routinely on RU-vid. There were many more, but I think you picked the more recent ones...
there used to be a blind guy that golfed in Saskatoon. he has perfect form, and hit consistently, so I'm not overly surprised with the pitch but it's still cool
Ya know, I threw one out at Provident Bank Park for ARC of Rockland. It was July 10th, 3 years ago (I THINK)... They announced my name, I threw a FAST BALL that floated SLIGHTLY and made the CATCHER'S MITT, and he DIDN'T bobble the ball. I say a GOOD pitch overall!!
I'm glad GWB didn't make the list. My friend worked at the stadium and GWB was a total jerk to him for no reason, in a time we were supposed to be "United"
