Shotcut is a good open-source option, but Davinci Resolve is fantastic, free, and insanely powerful.

hey man, for an account under 2k subs. i gotta say this is one of the best tip videos for beginners looking to get into creating content but not knowing where to look for things to be able to create with. i knew most of the sites from creating content for years myself (not here on youtube until recently and also not on this account) but honestly jam packed full of information and great sites to use.

1. I think adding GIMP as an honorable mention in the Image Editing, Kdenlive in the Video Editing section would have been nice. 2. I must say that this was the most helpful video I've seen in a long time. I'm thinking about making RU-vid videos but I didn't know where to get the free resources.

7:24 I can’t speak for Android, but for the iPhone, you do not need a third party app to capture screen footage. There’s one built into its control center where you can screen record and capture the audio if you’re doing a tutorial via phone.
