Terwilliger Hot Springs is the one also known as Cougar Hot Springs (not mccredie) due to it's proximity to Cougar Reservoir.

That is what I came to say. I've been visiting both for years and never heard any other hot springs than Terwilliger called Cougar. It's been a minute, but cougar used to have a big rock with a cougar carved in it. It may have been lost years ago in the mud slide when the cave was collapsed.

Yeah....what he said!........plus one can travel further up the mountain to camp at...1984...or 1981 Or even further till one crosses the bridge over the river to find a single restroom on the left and the BEST camping spot in all of Oregon on the right. (And I DO mean the very best.)

P.S. The camp area used to fondly be called "Hippy Hollow" by those in the know....Soooooo yeah... ;-)

hahaha love that you made "your own hot spring" hehe Bagby hot springs looks like a very unique experience. Wow I sure am getting the feeling that I neeeeed to explore Oregon! The more I learn the more the super natural Umpqua hot springs seems like my cup of tea but now Terwilliger I had not heard of and it looks incredible!!! Wow! Literally working on travel plans after catching this video. Thank you so much.

My dog got kicked (or hit) by Bigfoot. 4:30am, ground was shaking, i look out the tent and Blast was chasing Bigfoot in a circle right outside the tent. Bigfoot looked wildly scared. He took off up into the forest and Blast gave chase. Didn't see him all day. We finally broke camp and began to hike out - probably 3:30ish...sad because our faithful Blast was gone. Then, 1/4 mile from the road, he just showed up on the trail! His jaw was all bloody and banged up. He must have been knocked out and took half the day to recover and orient hisself again. That is one crazy, awesome dog.
