Yes! I do the same and keep thinking why not more people do it this way. I also keep my bed linen in there, so when I change the sheets I only have to pull out one shoe box and have everything I need. Makes it also easier to store the linen upon each other

The perfect bed for two in a small space is HEMNES!!! It is a single bed, a double bed, a couch, it has three draws for storage and it looks really good from all sides - which means, you can even put it in the middle of a room to partition it off. PERFECT🤗greetings from🇪🇸
When I was a student I used that desk as a stand for my tv, and the little compartment was perfect for my ps4 :p It's handy if you don't like big tv furniture, if you have a nook close by, you can put in a nook shelf like you see in the video's background and differentiate between books, games and decor pieces. It makes a TV set-up way less dark and heavy, and great for small spaces.
I own 4 of the hemnes shoe cabinets. Two of the size you showed and two that are a little taller and a tad wider with a slim drawer. They are a god send for small spaces. We use one for shoes.. two of the bigger ones as dressers and the other one in the kitchen for utensils.. and small kitchen stuff🙂

We use STALL shoe storage for storing board games and jigsaw puzzle. It fits perfectly behind the door in the room, so it takes no space at all and at least now it's not all messy on the bookshelf with all the different sizes of boxes.

I have been using the hemmed ikea shoe racks for almost 10 years. I love this piece👍🏼 it has a very nice design and brings statices to your room , as well as lot of storage for your shoes !!
As a Swedish person, sometimes I am questioning IKEA's choices of names. SLÄKT means relatives, the Ä is pronounced "eh". Removing the Ä, which of course all other countries do, it becomes SLAKT, which means slaughter. Would you want to sleep on a bed called a "slaughter bed"? 😂
I have the shoe organizer and I love it! I have a small condo entry way. I decorated by putting a cute mirror on top and two pictures beside the mirror on either side and it looks great! Also I love the idea about the Valentuna I think it’s a great idea!

I have the hemnes shoes organizer, my apartment opens right into a hallway so I needed something narrow, this fits the bill perfectly. We only keep our most used shoes in there so we use two of the compartments for other things.

Love the shoe organizer...I have a small walk in closet and this will keep the shoes protected...living in desert..believe it or not even though inside with air conditioning most of year..things get so dusty. The shoe organizer will help big time with that and looks nice.

I love the bed that raises up with storage underneath. They also have a couch that does that too. When I lived in an apartment in a city, I stored seasonal decorations in my couch. Kept things minimal & tidy.

I watched sooo many videos and started subscribing! 🥰😘 I've just moved to a very small studio apartment, only 33 square meters, and I've been quite overwhelmed of how on earth can I make this small space look cozy and beautiful and yet be functional at the same time. I've gotten so much ideas from your videos and now I know that I can do it! So tomorrow I'll go to my local Ikea to get some stuff to get started!😁 It will be a long process to get this apartment to feel like home and I can't afford to buy everything at once, but thanks to you I'm actually excited to start! ❤
The Ferrara shelf inserts are awesome, I have them in most of my kitchen cabinets, they really maximize space. The give shelves double-duty and in some cases, as you have shown give triple-duty ability.

I'm from Finland and I think the same. 😁 I mean they even pronounce Ikea so "english" or "american" ❤😂 But it doesn't bother me much, I suppose that my pronounciation is quite finlandssvensk, so yep.... 😁🤔😂

I can see the big yellow A in IKEA from my bedroom window. No haters pls.. haha My best buys ever is the Byholma rattan chair and my Ektorp off white couch. Both are not made anymore. I love the coastal style with lots of whites.
Love the corner shelf behind you! I need one for my office and bedroom. I have tiny rooms so would love the corners instead of a wall space that there is not room for. Plus you could use it in the corner when you build out the closet system in one of your other videos.

Not sure if someone already mentioned this one. I use a spare 6 level bookshelf as storage for my casual wear due to very little closet space. Works well, looks like a display at a store. I also have an Ikea Friheten sofa bed conversion sectional in my small apartment. Turns into a full size bed, pretty comfy actually.

You should let everyone know that the “small” space-saving bed is the size of a king bed when pulled out. You need to have a big enough space to pull it out.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE My 5 (yes I said 5) Hemnes shoe cabinets. I store shoes in two of them, and store other things in the other 3. I use the Stall shoe cabinet in my bathroom to store makeup, toiletries, soap, etc. Ah, if only I could have room for a Hemnes shoe cabinet there instead.
I loved them all! Can you believe I’ve never been to ikea? My favorite was the shoe thing. My question is would it hold a size 14 shoe. My husband has several pair and I’m always tripping over them.
I love that ottoman! As desk though we have the ikea secretary desk that you can close, that way we can hide the laptop and mess when we are not using it

Thank you. For the shoes, I used the “Trones” in black from IKEA. Easier to clean and I found they are easier to install, with 3M hooks. They come in pks of 2, I got three packs and made 2 Shoe units (of 3 each) one each at both of my entrances. I have them sitting on the floor, and, They fit into each other very nice,y. I used two 3M hooks to attach the top sections to the wall, so I did not need to make holes to attach to the wall. Not having to make holes in a wall for an apartment is ideal. PS, I love the Valentina ottoman/sleeper unit. Love your videos. (Barb from Montreal, Canada).
