I absolutely agree about Encore being #1. I'm a (too) frequent Vegas visitor and I love the Encore. Sinatra at Encore is my pick for the best restaurant on the Strip (try to ossobuco) and the spa at Encore is amazing!
If anyone is watching this trying to decide where they should stay. The Wynn is amazing and you should stay there, the rooms are fantastic you don’t have to worry about food not being good, all the restaurants are great. Also the pools are great the shopping is awesome and there show awakening is one of the best in all of Vegas.
It’s the same as everything Wynn (since they’re attached) but it feels more personal, boutique like, intimate, and quieter. They will be renovating rooms soon as well. It’s also my fav place in Vegas.
Great shout - love Encore. For me Palazzo is higher than the Venetian. It’s suites are larger and it has a slightly higher end feel to the hotel and casino floor.
I go to Vegas 3-4 times a year because I enjoy it and because the videos always do really well. I haven´t been evasive about my residency, I´ve talked about it on this channel multiple times. Many times during livestreams.
Hello Jordan: Wondering if you’re gonna share value meals and deals in La Vegas. I went there n followed your recommendations n I saved a lot on food. Don’t think those exist anymore since the pandemic. Pls give us an updated video on that.
Cool video. Bit of an unpopular take of mine but the Bellagio ranks pretty low on my list to stay at even post renovations IMO. Rooms feel small and continue to feel dated, service is lacking and rooms have been a little dirty when I've been, and the shower post-renovation is super weak, uncomfortable, and cold with the open style. As you mentioned the attractions are free, it's a must-go when visiting Vegas anyways so I personally don't feel a huge benefit staying there. I also think Palazzo takes it over Venetian for sure. Surprised by that choice.
I've been comped terrible rooms at Encore. Couch cushions looked 20 years old, cigarette burns all over the carpet, hair everywhere, and terrible cell service for me. If you're near the nightclub you'll hear the music until about 4 a.m. coming through the windows. Surprisingly Wynn is still my #2 and Palazzo is my #1.
I find ALL of this hard to believe..the VEGAS I knew was crude and nasty.. All I can say ...the now generation is clueless to it ALL!!. I would have to see it for myself..
Vdara has very nice rooms. I had two 60" TV's, a stove top, a convection microwave, a big sink, a big refrigerator, a dish washer and some pots & pans for cooking. I got 2 days for free with MGM players card.
The 4 Seasons is excellent. We just stayed therefor 4 days to catch The Rolling Stones. We had a luxury suite that was so big. It had 2 full size bathrooms. The poolside service was the best.
Caesar’s is pretty nice overall. I think the Aria was the biggest omission from the list, and that Ceaser’s and Mandalay Bay should make the bottom of the top 10 list or be listed as an honorable mention.
Do you have a review for Soundproof room? How quiet is it inside the room? Do you hear any noises next door or talking? is it thin walls? What if someone taking shower next door? do you hear it or any aircodition noise? etc?
My wife went to the Bellagio last year with a couple friends (for a concert) and got her Ray Bans stolen out of their room (presumably by housekeeping). Not going to be staying there again!
Love this series Jordan but honestly don't understand why you split Venetian and Palazzo same as Wynn & Encore. Anyway it's Wynn number one for me, it's super expensive but complete opulence. Sky Lofts to me is just an upper class segment of MGM Grand but definitely it's next level experience.
I just felt like Venetian/palazzo are so different that they deserve their own place. Wynn and encore are more similar in terms of overall feel and service but I like encore’s rooms a lot more. I think they’re the most luxurious rooms on the strip. So for that reason I didn’t want to combine them
Pretty good video overall. I’d personally take off #10 Waldorf and #2 Four Seasons. Both hotels (though especially Four Seasons) Vegas Hotels are coasting off branding and are overpriced for what you get. I’d definitely put the Aria somewhere on the list and would way rather stay there than Four Seasons or Waldorf. Aria’s got pretty good rooms, exceptional restaurants, a good casino floor, high class fashion mall between the Cosmo. The pools pretty average but location is great in the middle of the strip.
The truth is that I had Aria at #10 on this list but the audio for that part got destroyed so I replaced it with what was supposed to be #11, the Waldorf.
While I will agree that these are all high-end hotels, in my opinion there are only two LUXURY hotels in Vegas. The Bellagio and Wynn/Encore. I don't consider specialty sections of lesser hotels like the Sky Lofts at MGM, since they are really not the entire hotel.
Planet Hollywood is a pretty nice hotel and one of the best value hotels in Vegas. It’s not one of the top 10 most luxurious hotels in Vegas and doesn’t belong on this list , but it doesn’t try to be a top luxury hotel and that’s not its target market. It is though a nice high 3 * to low/mid 4 * hotel that’s middle strip and I’ve had some of my best times in Vegas there . Hope you enjoy your time there !
Why did you give the #1 hotel 10 seconds of air time????????? That doesn't make sense. I live 30 minutes from Encore in Boston and agree with your assessment. The hotel is just gorgeous. I suggest you go back and give it justice as to why it's your #1 pick.
Don’t switch. Palazzo’s suites are much more practical than Encore and has much livelier casino and restaurant scene. Encore’s casino feels dead and like a ghost town most of the time I walk through there.
