I really enjoy the Tower 28 lip liners. They are a pencil but they have good lasting power. they also just came out with new colors.

It’s so funny because when I started wearing make-up as a young teen, lip liner and lip stick was a must way back in the day. This was even before lip liner was a thing. I find now that my lip line, right where you wild apply lip liner, is causing liners or lip stick to cling and look terrible. As my lip products wear off, it wears off except at the lip line. My lip is not flaky but the line feels dry so I find I don’t reach for liner, but I have recently gotten most of the new elf ones and they are super nice. I do favor the charlotte and do want to try the Lisa E and Rhode soon :)

I love the LE liners. Both formulas. I like the CT ones too. My lip line is getting very fuzzy these days. I remember when everyone was wearing liner in the 80s and 90s. My mom has been wearing one every time she puts on lipstick since the 80s. I'm forever buying her lip liners. : ) I just never got in the habit of it. I'm always looking for one less thing to apply, but now a liner is a non-negotiable. Have a great day Quincey.

@@thelipstickgal I always lived for liners and now I feel like my lips look worse with it due to the skin around my lips. It’s getting better and the elf have really been lovely despite that :) hope you and yours have an amazing 4th holiday and that you’re feeling well

I love Anastasia muted mauve lip pencil and make up forever wherever walnut i love a good old fashioned wood pencil there both creamy without feeling drying

Funny story with lip liners for me this month … so this month I finally, after years of looking at them, tried 4 shades of the LE lip liners, well one week after I tried them for the first time and fell in love with them she announced a discontinuing products sale and the shade intrigue that I had just bought for the first time and loved as my favorite everyday pink/peach/nude shade was one of them so I immediately bought a backup 😆

I'm so sorry that she's discontinuing your favorite shade. I really love both formulas of liners, but I'm head over heals for the Enhance and Define ones that come in bold colors. Ribbon is my favorite and most repurchased. Thanks for watching today.

You can do the same thing by matching the lipliner to the inside of your lip. It’s what makeup artists have done for decades. Dont ask what that colour matches individually 😂

I have and love the CT and NYX, but I learned - I think from Marlena Stell?- that you want to check whether the NYX were made in Germany or Mexico, as the quality difference can be significant (She says go for Germany).

Yes, German made pencils are superior. I haven't checked mine to see they're made in Mexico it's Germany. I know that I really like the ones I have. ❤️

Oh and my favorite lip liner so far is the believe beauty one from Dollar General believe it or not $3.50. I haven't tried anything better when it comes to long wearing. Sadly there are only 6 shades and they're always selling out LOL. I like almost Rose it's a cool tone mauve and birthday girl is a bright Barbie pink. Barely there it looks like a great nude but I don't have it yet.

@@thelipstickgal It's the sister company to Drew Barrymore's flower beauty. It's in a display on the end cap of an aisle and it's fairly extensive. You can find some believe beauty reviews on RU-vid. It's exclusive to Dollar General but you just can't believe the quality for the price

@@thelipstickgal Oh that's too bad you don't have a Dollar General. They have a website and you can order. I was looking at the site and didn't see lip liners so I'm not sure everything that's in store is available online.

I have the Queen by Charlotte, love it. I used to love YSL but they change the packaging/formula and I lost interest. I am going to try the about face, looks pretty! Thanks!

I have the queen in the matte revolution lipstick. I really enjoy it. I haven't tried any of the ysl liners, but those about face liners are so great.

I hope you like the Shockwave liners. They also make them for eyes, and I think they're really good. I need to get some of the eyeliners in every day shades. I have a bright blue in the shade Ocean. It's stunning, but I don't frequently wear blue on the eyes.

You can also match the colour of the inside of your lip . Makeup artists have used that for decades too. :)

I really like the Glossier liners. The shades are really good, and I swatched all of them while in store at Sephora. I ordered these sight unseen from Glossier on launch day, but all the shades are lovely.
