Great post. I have had alligator and turtle in Florida. Not my favorite because they can be rather rubbery if not prepared correctly. New Orleans looks amazing for food. May I suggest a place if you have not been here before that is Charleston SC is one of the top places to come for food in the US. Go to Husk restaurant and have there skillet corn bread. They do contemporary Southern food with a creative twist. Thanks for posting.
Wow New Orleans looks super nice! Interesting choice to have dinner at a restaurant that has your name ;) I never considered going to New Orleans, But now Its certainly on my bucket list!
Their food is why I married a Cajun! That man could cook! As did his father, grandfather, all uncles, etc. But I learned to not ask what kind of meat was in it.
Brilliant. I totally get the concept of not enquiring about the meat. During high school I went a hostel. We used to call any stew type dish “mystery meat”.
@@Dutchified . Downtown for North American architecture , Old Montréal for in european charm, le plateau area for the typical staircase and victorian architecture , Westmount for the British lawn. The Mount Royal park the montreal central park. As a dutch you show to everything areas by bike except the park. Best season , summer for the festival or autumn for the colour.
