@@tasospodcast8832 I think I'd always pick the EGA version because I prefer the interface, but comparisons are fun. The SQ1 remake has a lot of spirit - sometimes too much! And I think it's fair game to include the fan remakes in this one.
Gee, beyond Space Quest and the Dig, half of Steel Sky and half of Star Trek anniversary, I just realized I've not played other sci-fi adventures. I should remedy that! I guess I can add The Longest Journey, half of it's legit sci-fi! I have most of what's on your list and a bunch more I need to get into - have you tried Dream Web, Omikron, Neuromancer, Future Wars or Beyond Good and Evil?

@@AdventureGameHotspot It may start slow and seem not worth the effort because of the backtracing and its age, but the end will leave you deep in thoughts and that`s what counts for me in serious games.
