I remember quite clearly the Take Over New York match, the first ever wrestling main event i saw. It is probably to this day still my favorite match of all time. I remember how at the beginning the fans were still kinda booing Gargano, and at the end, nothing but cheers. That was awesome, and that ending with Ciampa still brings a tear to my eye, it was awesome.
The UE made the War Games match in the modern Era such a spectacle and it still feels weird without them being involved and that Knight vs Grimes feud with the involvement of the Million Dollar title was so much fun
I know it’s not NXT, but one of my favorite face turns is the Shield’s; they were told by Kane and the Authority to attack Daniel Bryan and they literally turned from looking at Bryan to looking at Kane. They then all attacked Kane and the turn was complete.
Gargano is such a believable babyface. You just can't turn him heel. He is to babyfaces what The Miz is to heels. You get 1 good run on the other side (The Way and Shane McMahon vs Miz), but other than that, your stuck.
Johnny Gargano had two NXT heel runs. The first one, which was mentioned in this video, but is more in detail in the NXT Heel Run video, is Johnny Gargano feuding with Aleister Black going into NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV(4), which ended in March 2019, while the second heel run began at NXT Takeover: Portland, which led to the final match between Ciampa & Gargano during the covid quarantine pandemic entitled "One Final Beat." After that match & feud's conclusion, Johnny formed the heel faction called The Way, which consisted of his wife Candice Lerae, Austin Theory & Indi Hartwell, which led to him becoming the first(and so far only) 3-time NXT North American champion.
NXT was beyond expectations💫. It makes veterans & retirees look relevant & gives new talent the attention they need! Cena said it best, everyone is next: a.k.a NXT✨️!
Summer vacation, went to my cousin's house to hang out and play Xbox 360, and he had just gotten a new game called WWE 13, the cover with punk was immediately eye-catching, and so were characters like Rey Mysterio, John Cena, Sin Cara and the Undertaker, but the thing that really made me think pro wrestling was awesome was the attitude era mode, more specifically D-Generation X, for some reason the visual of Shawn Michaels rubbing the Canadian flag all over his taint and sticking it up his nose made me a wrestling fan
