My bf is a police dispatcher in NJ and there was an incident there about a decade ado in one of the sargeants who was also the swat commander and an alarm was triggered in a bank after hours in their jurisdiction. This SWAT commander ultimately had a 4 hour stand off with an "armed robber" which turned out to be a life-sized cardboard cut out of a person advertizing bank services.
hi I remember the incident in the news. what is not mentioned in this vid is that the couple are both right toe rags and at the time both she and her partner had been heavy involvement in drug use. the incident was looked at by a different police authority and the press tried to make a big thing of it and couldn't. because it was very hard to paint the people in a good light.
Back in the mid 80's, my home town had a whole police force that was corrupt! Our sheriff robbed a pharmacy and a jewelry store! There was even a book written about it!
I had a story like one of these... My mom almost lost her life due to a hot and run accident... So she went to a police station to see if they can help her file a complaint... The officer was rude and disrespectful so my mom was cussing the policeman out... Then he arrested her for disorderly conduct 🙄
When I was 3 I busted my skull open on our solid wood coffee table (which my parents still have almost 30 years later) with blood gushing from my head my parents rushed to the ER running every single red light and having a cop on their tail yhe whole way. Upon pulling up to the ER the office approached my mother and stated, " I'm so glad you were coming here if not you were in for one Hell of a ticket." The officer than offered to take me in for them because he could get me I faster and they could park. See this is what the officer should have done, 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 for that officer in Long Islande New York
Arkeeny then your case would be dissmised. They would probaly settle for the price of the car with $500 (U.S.) as a subisity. Asking double the price will be taken as a joke to a judge
@@destroyer359 Nah, it caused them to miss work and put undue strain on the victim. Plus the lost time, due to having to go buy a new car which generally would come with a lease... plus all of my sentimental items inside the car. I also have PTSD as I am afraid of the fact, that they might target me now for seeking reimbursement. So I will also need money for my future medical bills.
yes mate. if the old bill destroy your stuff and you are found not guilty or never charged you can get compassion from the Home Office. a guy I used to work with had is front door kicked in by the Met. they thought he was a drug dealer rather than a bus driver. two years latter he got the cost of the damage done in the raid payed in full. but that was only after they had arrested him five more times for nothing. in this incident the cops got the p1ss taken out of then so hard they paid up in weeks. supposedly the army also sent them a bill for wasting there time and getting them to blow up a car they had parked.
Matthew, It Is Amazing How You Keep Making Lists Without Getting Repetitive And Keeping Them Entertaining For A Long Time! I Love Your Videos, Especially The Creepy Topic Ones
I love all the work that you've done to your channel I have been subscribed since 2015 and I have never missed a video since then you sir earned my respect and knowing what you went thru last 2016-2017 and still posting videos kudos to you good sir. Keep up the awesome work matt!!! .
After the week I have had, you made me laugh more than I think I ever have at your videos! Thank you for bringing some happy into the lives of us crazy people who love watching your videos.
I've heard about #10 but with a pregnant woman who was giving birth and they arrested the husband while the wife was screaming and in pain. Waiting for the ambulance.
I heard about a case like that in LA county. A Hispanic man was driving his pregnant wife to the hospital. Dumb cops pulled him over and arrested him for what seemed like no reason leaving the wife to drive herself to the medics.
Good one, Matt! I bet you could find a lot more of these. In fact, when I first clicked on it, I thought you'd include the numerous cases, back in the '70s or '80s, where the FBI kept raiding the wrong houses, sometimes because they had the wrong STREET. One woman had to be institutionalized because of the trauma. "To err is human, to forgive Divine"---but I wonder what He's going to say...
Alan jacks007 I almost cried because I used to have a black Labrador but he died from natural causes. These dogs are beautiful dogs who are absolutely no threat to anybody. I would love to see that police officer get shot.
So far this year, I had a chocolate lab that died due to what we assume to be a black widow bite. Just a couple of months later, we lost another dog to leukemia. Not a good year for dogs.
A dog is not just a pet. A dog is a best friend, a family member, and your most faithful companion. A settlement is just them saying ‘We’re @ssholes, and will just throw money at problems that we caused, because we don’t care enough about anyone, or the oath we swore to serve and protect.’ I would sue officer personally, as well as the county.
Have been missing out on your videos for a few weeks, glad to see you're still putting out great content 😄😄 just saw the trailer for Higher Power and it looks AWESOME 👍👍👍
As soon as I heard the words ‘The 96’ my heart twinged. Sheffield still mourns for these people, it seemed everyone was affected by this, whether directly, through relation or friendship. It was an awful time
My sister's apartment was surrounded by feds and local pd. Turns out they were looking for a guy who hadn't lived there for 6 moths. All this on the day of her wedding.
I dont like scary top tens because we lose the fun out of him... I love funny vids, like this. I can tell because of the way his eyebrows move and his voice differentiates to creepy.
The one with the memory bear they should’ve sued for every f....ng penny $330,000 for having your dog shot dead for no reason and getting arrested for having no drugs should’ve sued for millions 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 if I had a dog and that was mine I would be in prison for assault on a cop 🤬
my dad did 13 years for a crime he didn't do. He was already sentenced to 45 years and if it wasn't for him researching and doing his own homework on how to fight it , they found that he wasn't the person who they had been looking for.
Man my dad was a cop and he made sure he did as much as possible each and every day it really upsets me that some cops are just (insert insult here) and because of them some people don’t trust cops anymore we need good people to be good cops not just idiots who can shoot and can memorize the laws
twocoolgamer agreed. My grandma told me about how her grandpa and uncle were involved in the police force and they were considered to be very good people. In fact, her uncle was best at being an undercover cop to catch certain criminals. However, sometimes bad cops can ruin it for the good. When her uncle discovered some corruption and reported it, they blamed him for such and was let go. All I can say is that as someone studying criminal justice, I just hope there are more good people on whatever force I end up in than bad.
Great video. The Hillsborough Disaster is a total disgrace. It took over 15 yrs to get justice for the families and changed stadium grounds all over the U.K.. Incompetence on the police forces part was unbelievable. ✌
Joshua Carino depends on the area, and the demand for officers. Stuff like this never happens in my county, mainly because departments here have standards. But sometimes it's hard to tell if an officer truly is qualified, until an event like these happens.
Roman Bellic Shouldn’t there be an international standard for police qualification? Like if you have any scumbag tendencies, you can’t join a local police force. Just tossing it out there
@Joshua Carino And who would dictate those standards? Polish police lost all its respect specifically because of what current government doing with them. And I don't even mention Russia where major offense is to stop criminals from horsing opposition, and people trust more local boss of mafia then law enforcement, because he is usually way more decent person.
I didnt really like your coverage of the Hillsborough disaster. They more than lost control, it was there fault that 96(+1) died there. Then making up false accusations to cover there own negligence.
no I agree, twas a national disaster and Matt kinda swept it under the floor a little with the fact giving. The daft music over the top didnt help either. A lot of the list count as somewhat ironic daft blunders, but Hillsborough, no that should have been in its own human error list or something.
Elfan Waltz people don't seem to relise that Matt needs to keep the video moving to keep it short. I bet they would prefer a 1hr long video just so Matt can describe every detail
funny I just posted a little bit on what the guy missed. clearly the guy didn't realise he was dealing with something so important to most people in the UK mate.
I am from St Joseph, NO and remember the incident with Officer Strong well. Can't believe I saw this on your video. So cool to hear something you know and was close to where you're from!
Nice video like always. I was thinking if you could also do something like the 10 most coolest or heroic acts done by police officers? Something to contrast this video with, you know?
@Cheedy Still in case of public trust one bad egg stink like dumpster fire. It is why it is so important to clean it up and not make any excuses. After all dr. Deaths also are rare but many old people are terrified of hospitals because of them.
