@user-gu4tv4hp6sYou trying to be a troll 2 year ago. Soccer is biggest sport in the world and not exactly the most exciting sport. The NRL and AFL shits all over soccer for entertainment. Soccer will never take over NRl or AFL for most popular and most entertaining sport in Australia.
I was at the Eels v Sharks game. Great memories. Let's not forget the biggest ever win though, St. George v Canterbury 91-6 in 1935. The next week, Canterbury were beaten 87-7 by Easts.
I was at the 2016 Sharks Knights game. The heckling from our Knights Fan was absolutely insane. Poor Maloney was copping it every conversation (there were alot). Even though we lost by a a massive margin, us Knights fans were just having a good time. We’d been losing so much at that point we were only there for the laughs mostly aha. The ground actually ran out of beer at one of the Home games later in the season. Too many Novacastrians (myself included) drinking away our sorrows.
It’s been like 15 years and I’m still shook from the warriors win. Remember my dad coming home to tell me not to check the score so I could be depressed thinking warriors got smashed
Played for the Redcliffe Dolphins 16s side a good 15-20 years ago. We were down 30 inside the first half. The coach sits us down. Boys if we just kick a field goal every possession they’ll never get the ball back and we will chip the the back one at a time. The field goal down 60 made me think of that and smile 😂
From memory they had a hangover after winning the comp and no longer having Shane Webcke who retired in the 2006 GF. Poor runs of form weren’t unusual for the 2000’s Broncos either, even with that side. Their depth wasn’t that great once a few key men were injured.
I was kinda expecting Cronulla Sharks V Newcastle Knights 2002 in this video, 64-10. But you put the other demolishing from the Sharks in here and the Bronx hammering us in Brisbane so that was enough pain for me to see hahaha. Keep it up mate.
In the parra Cronulla game the sharks attempted the field goal to get the ball back. At that point in the game the eels were scoring every time they got the ball.
There might be another massive flogging this coming weekend (Round 5, Sat 1 April 2023), when the Broncos (1st) take on the Tigers (17th) at Suncorp Stadium.
