10 Blackest States in the US.
It is time to do the most requested video I get. That is right if you are one of the many people that have asked me to do the states with the most black or African American residents, today is your day.
Like I said in the last video in this series: A few months ago I caved to public pressure. I normally avoid race-related videos but I had many requests.
I wasn’t comfortable with the subject and I didn’t want to create a video that would have a comment section with racist comments and people crying that I am being racist for talking about race.

I think the "trolls" are mostly the wannabe-woke people who automatically get offended when they see "blackest states" and assume it's racism. They seem to overlook the fact that some people might WANT to live in majority-black states for any number of reasons, so this video would be helpful to them. It's always funny when the people trying hardest not to be racist end up being the most racist.

No one cares about your identity. Just make your comment and move on. Comments stand by their own merit NOT by who says it. Nothing you said has any more or less validity based on how you identify. You could cut out the whole "as a black woman" part and your comment would still get the same point across.

On the note you mentioned about Market Streets and if there's any major city without one. If by major city you mean over 100k people then yes I know of at least one; Berkeley, CA. What's interesting is that it very easily could have a Market St. as there's a Market St. in Oakland but when it crosses into Berkeley, it turns into Sacramento St.

It's just not unusual for people to want to be with others who have similar cultures.

Undermid the colour you're, if you wanna be successful, you most take responsibility for your emotions, not place the blame on others. In addition to make you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You must look outward if you wanna be successful in life, Successful people don't become that way overnight. most people see at a glance-wealth, a great career, purpose-is the result of hard work and hustle over time. Correction. The Tuskegee airmen spent their entire time in Columbus Ohio. By this, they left for war (WWII, Korea, Vietnam) from Columbus, Ohio and returned to Columbus, Ohio. They did their flight training in Tuskegee Alabama. I am not accounting for the support roles and where they received training. For those that like to poke holes or feel I didn't recognize supporting roles. For context, this is about the airmen that flew the airplanes. During this time is when Meger Evers referred to the Tuskegee airmen as the ones who started the Civil Rights movement when the Tuskegee Airmen were already in Columbus Ohio -several years after Jessie Owens won the gold medal-. Check it. They were at Lockbourne Air Force Base. Lastly, My great Uncle Brigadier General Charles E McGee passed this on to me. Thanks again fellow airborne comrade.

The fact that you had to go on and on justifying this video and saying that talking about black people "is an uncomfortable subject for me" is just plain weird. Why would you be comfortable making videos about Asian, White and Hispanic heavy states but find some sort of discomfort when discussing "Black States" unless you feel differently about black people than the other races..? Are black people some sort of taboo subject to you? LOL Racism comes in many forms, and I would say that being overly sensitive to a particular ethnic or racial group is absolutely a form of racism too.. Sadly, the woke mob has made people with good intentions, afraid to speak any sort of truth or point out any fact. Black people are just like everyone else, most of them aren't that sensitive... its the liberal elite whites who would find this offensive.

You did a really great job with this video! Also, since you're visiting Louisiana soon you should research the capitol city of Baton Rouge. There's a lot of interesting Black History in that city beyond just New Orleans. Intersting Facts: The Baton Rouge Bus Boycott against segregated buses was in 1953 and was the first major boycott of its kind in the United States. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr consulted with the leaders of the Baton Rouge boycott for advice on his successful Montgomery Bus Boycott in Alabama. When you start thinking about populations and who is where, it helps (like he said in other videos) to think about who settled there first and then what people were doing there. In most larger cities, and Birmingham is certainly getting up there for the south, you are going to have larger minority populations but their families might or might not have been in the region for a long time. Places like MS, GA, LA, and parts of TX, it makes sense that the flats and deltas would have had large farm lands back in the day. AL is a unique state in that, sure it is in the south east it has hilly, almost mountainous terrain in the north and lots of sports hunting and fishing along the Alabama River, Coosa, Chatahoochie, and Mobile Bay...sure they have great farm land around Dothan and Montgomery but most of the state was doing other stuff their entire history. I do enjoy talking about the space program from AL because it surprises a lot of people.

Arkansas is probably well explained by a combination of late economic development in the antebellum era and having a lot of terrain that's just not suitable for plantation agriculture. I was in the white upstate half of the group, and the other half was a bunch of retired black female teachers (with a few young female relatives) from downstate NY. I hung out mostly with the black ladies who were more fun. When we got on an Italian Nile River cruise ship in Luxor, and were among Nubians (black Africans) all the way to Aswan, I was amazed. The Nubian guys kept calling up to the young black ladies wanting to marry them so they could get to America. I’ve never been so impressed about how much all Americans (regardless of color) are alike, and how distinct we are from people in other cultures.

I toured the US on a motorbike back in the 90s and found the southern states people wonderful. I will always remember going into a tiny library (think it was somewhere in Louisiana) and a very elderly black lady finding it fascinating someone from London UK was in her library and wanting to talk to her. As I did for she was incredibly interesting to listen to. There was a raw, brutal honesty about her but with no desire for sympathy. A gracious, elegant lady but as tough as they come. She quickly realised I was thirsty and then asked if I wanted some homemade lemonade - well, asked as she came in with a large glassful for me! We spoke for a while and the lemonade I can still taste decades later, it was so, so good. Have never forgotten her, is hard to explain but just a simple meet and talk with this lady and her wonderful hospitality has stayed with me since.

Not sure there would be a demand for this, but I’m interested in the top 10 states that aren’t predominantly any race, those with a distribution similar to the US average. For most people this is probably too generic of a topic, but it’s interesting to me because I think the 2 states where I’ve lived, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts would end up on this list. I haven’t seen the top Hispanic or Asian state videos yet, but also suspect some of the states at the bottom of those lists would also end up on this list. My Dad is in an interacial relationship. When he bought land in North Carolina with the intention of building a house there he brought his girlfriend to tour the area with him. He invited her to live with him down there but she said that she wouldn't feel comfortable being there, not enough people of her own race lived in that area. It bummed my Dad out but it's understandable why she didn't want to live there. When you are the only person of your race in an area you stand out whether you try to or not. Sometimes you just want to be where you feel you belong and part of that is being around people who look like you and live a similar culture to the life you live. I think that these videos focusing on where the highest densities of each race live are useful to those of us who want to vacation or live in spots where they feel like they belong in. I don't think it's racist or bigoted most of the time but just want to not feel like they are always being watched simply for being different. That's just my thoughts on why these videos should be told, people are genuinely interested in where the largest majorities of "their people" are living across the country.

As a Canadian woman, I would like to share that we also have black people in Canada. Too many times, I have heard the most ignorant questions and statements from my beloved US neighbours, whenever I travel to the States. One recurring is, "Y'all have black people up there???" *facepalm* Yes. We do. Not just Drake (although he is half-black, half white-Jewish).

Great video! I don't care what color you are, it is so important to learn other cultures. Wether people want to accept it or not most of the people in this country are immigrants. I guess I'm one of those strange people, that actually loves all people no matter where they're from. We need to learn more about each other Noone is better than anyone else, period! You go Briggs ✌️

Spoken like a true brainwashed gen z who was brainwashed by the govt school system. There are plenty of ppl. Who are far better than others because they made decisions that keep them out of jail, enriched their education, and many other things that allow them to be head and shoulders over most ppl. Ano one of those is the great accomplishments of Donald j trump who since 1975 continues to be more awesome than about 99+ percent of most ppl. You would call heroes who are in and out of jail. Your philosophy is so flawed it's sad.
