Loved Little Britain back in the day, everyone at the time was watching it too. Literally had no idea that anyone was offended by it until the internet and social media blew up and started seeing people moaning about how x, y, z sketch wasn't funny just offensive. I was so perplexed at the time I just couldn't understand why people were taking a dumb sketch show so personally, re-watching it now though I'm almost surprised wasn't _more_ controversial 😂

To be honest, the thing I remember most of Brainiac: Science Abuse weren't really the women (to be completely honest, I almost completely forgot that it had those segments) but more so that depending on the type of salts you shove in high quantities into caravans, you get impressive colorful explosions AND that thermite is pretty disturbing (something I was recently reminded off when I was reading one of the Final Destination novels where it was used to off a character...)... But frankly, you could still make Brainiac today, perhaps make it a bit more scientific (there is a lot of cool looking experiments you still do) and less breast-centric but it can be done. A show (though not British, it is Belgian) that I don't see anyone making today would be M!LF, which was short for Men Liberation Front and was meant to be poke fun at feminism and the idea of the new man in a satirical, be it at times incredible juvenile, way and since people nowadays simply don't seem to get satire anymore, anyone involved would like be burned at the stake for it if made today.

The Word was a legendary show that launched the careers of groups like Oasis and Jamiroquai, who had their first appearances on the show. Plus the legendary interviews with MC Hammer and Snoop Dogg being attacked by Emu. The _I'll Do Anything To Be On TV_ segments were a bit rank but there was the other segment where kids were having wild parties while they thought their parents were away. I'll hear nothing negative said about The Word.

Think you've missed the point about Brainiac: Science Abuse. It wasn't all about scantily clad women it was more about how fast John Tickle can run across a pool full of custard or how potent thermite is. It took light-hearted questions and smashed them together with actual science and a fun editing style to create a brilliant comedic effect, it was genius. You've honed in on one particular theme and by doing so you're tainting the shows legacy. It's as if you're making out it's just some backwards show for 'lads' and 'blokes' who just wanted to see something raunchy.

As an honourable mention would include the sitcom Game On starring Samantha Janus too (for those who remember some of the jokes featured), but the examples listed I'd say are more anti-woke pro-progressive than out-and-out offensive compared to what's available nowadays targeting very young people within the education system!

I don't think there's any comedy on TV today, due to this innate fear that someone, somewhere and at some point in the future _might_ possibly get offended by something said, (in jest, no less), on it. Apparently, we're not allowed to find things funny, (particularly in regard to ourselves), any more. Because, that's all it would take. Seeing the funny side of things rather than living as a perpetual victim, scared of how the world might perceive us, and complaining about it when it gets too close for comfort. The infantilising effect where no-one is allowed to say anything even remotely interpreted as disparaging about anyone else, (particularly pertaining to race, gender and sexuality), as it could possibly be interpreted as hurting their feelings. The irony being that it's not even the people within these groups who complain, but some sanctimonious offended by proxy individuals/advocacy group, who have to make a noise every now and then, otherwise no-one would know they existed, not to mention risking their, no doubt, well-paid jobs paid for by the public purse, no less.

I have never heard a single person complain about Brainiac: Science Abuse, so no idea why you put it on this list

South Park is all of these shows combined into one yet it’s still tolerated today, how these other shows which are far less politically incorrect get banned and SP doesn’t is pure absurdity.

I was watching tv when these shows were broadcast. I hated all of them, except for The Office and Brass Eye.

Love thy neighbor. Which I still watch here on RU-vid it's almost like a all-in-the-family lots of racist black jokes and white jokes but yet is still highly entertaining the American version of the show which lasted one season seems to be lost because I can't find one episode

I love rude crude humor. I think people need to lighten up Abit and stop being offended by everything.. saying that little Britain sucked donkey balls! Same jokes over and over
