It is my favorite shotgun in the game. Quick reloading. Definitely worth doing one Cayo with the shotgun as your main focus. Unless.... the gun van has it🤔
Somewhere in LS there's a skeleton holding a map of cayo. When you inspect it, you can see Lochnesss Monster is actually drawn in and theres a questionmark in another spot

@victorybot3820 I use 4 characters, so I usually set up all 4 on different cycles, so say Sunday I do both finales on my first to characters. I swap to my 2nd account and set up both of those finales. After I do them back to back. I swap back and start the next two. I don't have to worry about the three day cool down because I'm on the other account.
WARNING! If you take out power at airstrip, DO NOT KILL ANY guards! Ever time i do, they send a guard to check on why power is out, and sound alarm because they see bodies.
"Do not kill any guards" is a great strategy in any situation to completly avoid getting the 'cone of death' after grabbing the primary. Once you have the primary loot and are out the basement, it's all good.
Another fact: the brioso 300 wasn’t in the game when cayo first came out even though it was already seen in the compound which meant el Rubio had unreleased vehicles exclusive to the heist before they were released in their respected event week Also after the drug wars patch el Rubio is the only one who doesn’t care about bodies on the heist
I have had Rubio see bodies that I have killed. That's why I try not to kill them around the compound. I'll have to test it since a lot of people say that.
The best tip of them all is you can skip the disruption missions. Set your spawn point to your kosatka. Start a disruption mission and immediately go and find a new lobby (doesn't matter if public or invite only) go to the Kosatka planning screen and you'll see the disruption mission is complete. Repeat the process with the other 3 missions. Also, don't do the demolition charges mission. You don't need them
@@hachi8054 if what you're asking is will it take out all the choppers and weapons, then yeah. Doing what I said just let's you take care of all that without actually doing the missions
@@subscribefortacos well unless it got patched recently, or you somehow didn't do it right, but it always works for me. Start the disruption mission, change lobbies and that that will mark the mission as complete. If you don't do the missions at all, then multiple choppers will be gunning for you along with El Rubio's chopper. Compete the missions, and the only chopper chasing you will be El Rubio's
@@Walshy94 The mission marks as complete because you only have 1 chance to do the mission, If you dont complete it then it marks as complete because you can't do it again. It wont help you in the heist though.
A tip for doing the preparation missions Using a Savage will make these easy prep missions even easier. Its' lock-on missiles will easily deal with the Buzzards in the helicopter destruction mission (You can't lock onto them directly, but you can lock onto the armed guards around them and let the splash damage do the rest), and the forward cannon will shred the three Arms Dealers, even the one in the Ballistic Armour.
@@enzymez399 Getting to and from the Kosatka isn't really an issue with the preparation missions, as you don't need to return to the sub after taking out all your targets.
I just do the armor preparation so they dont have vests, juggernaut goes out quickly just by shooting at him xD Although i can just go past him anyways
3:30 I'm pretty sure the helicopter doesn't see those bodies on the right when you come out of the compound, instead there's a patrol car that comes from the left so when you come out and kill the guy next to the bike and ride it left (behind the single guard which you shouldn't kill) to the end of the road where it turns right down a car will spawn if you kill that then the alarm wont go off when you kill all the guards and camara by the entrance(to the right when coming out of compound). Also you can wait at the entrance for a few seconds and another patrol car will spawn if you wait for this and kill him you can loot the farm loot spots(+4 more) next to main dock without the patrol car from the compound entrance seeing the dead bodies at the main dock as he eventually comes to them, so there's 8 solo loot spots at the main dock +farm. if your only looting main dock the entrance patrol car can be left alone as he only comes to main dock after a while roughly 10 minutes. These things also help me when I do it with multiple people :)
Melee juggernaut with c4 or pipe bomb then pump him full of bullets. Bottom map escape the three bombs you can pop your head up and the heist will be passed. Doing this heist with a second person you can take the wall safe twice. One must wait near the middle storage. Doing this heist with a second person will only net you a less cool down of 48 minutes not more money this is why the payment for secondary loot was buffed in criminal enterprise dlc. Casino heists facts next would be cool teach me something I don’t know.
Number 9: Following the nerfs to Cayo Perico, you may want to skip the bike guard if you're not fast enough. Otherwise the guard circling the compound in a patrol car (which you can stealth kill) will spot his body and trigger an alarm that spawns an extra helicopter and attack boats, prolonging it even further.
Shotgun can also spawn outside the north door of the northern most storage room (room secondary loot spawns in). In the courtyard where 1 guard walks around in front of a camera, against a railing... it is actually the spot I have seen it the most.
for me the armor disruption is the best one because if he a guard gets down you dont wanna be spending 5 seconds shooting him you wanna spend 2 seconds and the armor disruption has helped me alot
Best solo entry vehicle is the Velum allowing you too find secondary loot in the air strip and guard clothes for easy entry. I finish the whole heist in 8-9min
It is quicker to use the Longfin typically for solo. It is quicker to grab a Longfin vs a Velum. I only use the Velum if I get Guard Clothes at the AirStrip, easy access to two stacks of Coco and a convenient Grappling Hook spawn location. You can move pretty quick across the island using a Manchez Scout.
I’ve been playing GTA five for almost 6 years now and I’ve never done any of the main heists the only one that I have successfully done is the fleeca bank heist and I did the Cayo once and the diamond casino heist once . Other then that ive made all my money in freemode with businesses . I think doing cayo over and over and over and over and over is just boring and basically makes money grinding obsolete.
For Patrol Boat setup, I do the same thing that I do for weapon setup: If I see Merriweather, I find new Session. For weapon setup, of course, it's because the difficulty and time to do are out of whack compared to the other locations. For Patrol Boat setup, it's because of the bug. Too many times of shooting it out (which is fun) only to see the boat missing .. no patience for bugs that should have been fixed ages ago. The one where you shoot it out with Lost MC then grab the boat and go on a river ride is much more reliable (100% for me so far, knock on wood).
finding new session is stupid. just blow up the dam thing. if you see a merriweather mission just send a missile via the sub and destroy it. way faster than a new session.
@@anonymoushunter9808 never got them. They're just an extra expense at this point, but some day maybe. And switching session doesn't take THAT long ... at least with my pc and internet.
I’ve accidentally killed jug by just doing the same thing, turned the corner thinking he was upstairs and knocked him over forcing me and my buddies to just laser him. We waited for the alarms but it was absolute silence. We laughed so hard till we got out the compound
I've heard it growl (sounding close by) as far north as the North Drop. I've also had Pavel inform me there was something large in the water, but I still haven't seen Nessie.
@@JedForge same, I've found the map about Nessie tho. Some washed up bodies at LS (around the 1st place where sub can spawn in the quick travel list) the inlet to the harbour and the inlet at the middle of the beach. I'll go to cayo at night sometime. For setup and will try and find Nessie.
If you don’t want El Rubio’s chopper place the sticky bombs onto the chopper when leaving the compound and once its flying around detonate the explosives. The heli will fly away from the island.
The disruption glitch does work it helps you easily start the heist without having to do any of the disruption missions yeah it may not help u with the heist but once you know how to stealth through and u know the exact route to go by you can easily beat the heist
I would say I’m a vet at this heist cuz I’ve done it about 30 times solo and can do it pretty easily but I did learn a couple things. I always do Kosatka but I always mess up the escape I can’t ever find the mines I just keep swimming 😂 so thank you for that and the patrol boat thing was neat! Also didn’t know about the minigun I always try to save as much $ as possible aside from getting the suppressors they’re a must lol
Did you know that the locked building you talked about at the north dock...has a grappling hook that spawns on the roof?..you can take a picture of it on the boat by the building.
Thanks! I've noticed on some help maps there is one in that vicinity but have never found one there. I'll definitely watch for it now that I know better. Love it when there are 2 stacks of cola in that locked building. Almost as quick a run with Longfin and drainage entrance as going to Airstrip. Just have to be careful about killing the guy that patrols that building. Wait for him to come around the corner so not near camera. Depending upon where he ends up may need to snipe the guy in the tower. Take camera out of course as well lol.
@@Baboomian I'll defer to the real experts, but in my limited experience (about 30+ runs) there has never been gold in anything other than the 2 man areas of the compound (some with wall glitches of course).

Before I started watching taco’s videos, I hated this heist because it was either not challenging or impossible, depending on how much I wanted to explore. But these videos have really taught me how to enjoy the island. Now only if the setups didn’t include flying a velum across the entire map EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
@@Baboomian Amen! Especially with the Vellum being so front heavy, you don't dare take your eye off the monitor. I try to make sure I'm in the North end of the map when I find new session to the Kosatka. That at least usually means a shorter Sparrow flight to where the Vellum is (though I still pray for Sandy Shores Air Field for the shortest Vellum flight lol).
You can actually kill the guards after getting out of compound, without getting detected. Just have to go and kill the car with bike. I do that when I play solo and want secondary loot from main dock.
I wish there was an extra setup for cayo where you are able to bring a car/motorcycle of any kind (as long as it doesn't have weapons on itself or can fly) to the island for you to pick up and use. I know it's impractical and doesn't make sense but still

I am the founder of this little tip, when solo grab 5 Scoops of cash after grabbing 1 stack of gold, and u will still be able 2 grab half stack of gold aalways, If you have a friend with you, after grabbing 1 stack of gold you both can grab 5 scoops of cash, but not from same table, If from same table only grab 4 scoops each, then finish filling w gold, you will notice you are still able to get all 3 stacks of gold, n over a extra 100 k take from the 10 scoops of cash. It helps the ones i take, n ps ive had my panther statue over 4 years now on 3 profiles :)
Never seen the cat out, but how cool. Save 3k; Escape tip: jump of the bike before it hits water, u don't lose money from injury. In this video that would save 3k.
i don't use patrol boat i use the longfin and the panther when I first saw it I freaking got scared and brrrt the f out of it ( didn't kill ) and the only fact I didn't know is the stealth exist like what ? we can jump here because I use C4 to make the heli of rubio go crazy so I never get spoted when I kill them, tho I use the bike to enter the compound during the prep mission and the bike to exist lol
I’m going to do this power thing later. And thanks for the stealth compound escape. Always fancy the main dock loot on the way out but always ends in carnage haha

Ive never seen the panther out of its cage when doing cayo, but my question is where is Dave? You see Dave locked in a cage across from the panther's cage but when you do intell from the tower it doesnt show him in the cage. I wish there was a way to save dave from the cage
One time i was making cayo with my boys and then we had a lag or i donnu what was that , and the aircraft carrier was there but not fully moded and the. We go up and thake 4jets and flying around cayo that was crazy i have a picture to prove it
I was running cayo with a friend and she got spotted so we was committing suicide to start fresh and before I died I'm like yo wtf the panther is running around! She didn't believe me
Unless i skimmed through the mission on my first time doing it solo i didn’t get to end the mission by driving a bike into the ocean so help please. I only done it once when someone invited me and they escaped that way as i followed them but when i did it yesterday solo my submarine was actually by the runway and it sucked because i almost died
Little known fact Rubio doesn't see dead body's a car that patrols the inside of the compound does if you kill the driver you can kill those in the outskirts of the compound

A better feature would be if while aiming you could bend left or right to look around corners apposed to having to step in front of a door way to see around it sometimes i wish i could just tilt left or right to look

I knew these, and I am not sure if it means I am a Cayo Perico veteran or a SubscribeForTacos videos veteran. That may be a 50-50 thing Regarding the panther: I have never seen it on heist but I have heard it a lot.
There are some tips I have, just to add: #8 - (Courtesy of RandomWeirdThings248, another GTA RU-vidr - I found out this method from him). If the weapon loadout you selected has a bomb (like the conspirator loadout with the sticky bomb), you can walk behind the jug and melee him with the bomb (it'll be the right trigger for console users, and I don't know the key for PC). Be sure to be right behind him so you don't accidentally place a bomb on the ground. You'll end up knocking him to the ground, and he'll just lay there for a bit. That'll give you time to shoot him. #5 - If you're a solo player, for the air support prep, what I do is go for the Buzzards sitting on water first, then any on land if they're easy to target with a missile. I use fast travel to get near each location. First, I fast travel to the ones in the ocean, launch a guided missile, and aim the missile onto the middle helicopter. If one of the locations on land is an area that I can't get to with a missile, whether it's too far (even when fast traveling near it) or it's difficult to land the missile on the helicopters, I just save that set of Buzzards for last and fly there with my Sparrow to blow them up. For the weapons prep, I highly recommend having an explosive sniper and/or some explosive weapons. If you don't have the sniper, you can just use an RPG and grenade launcher. I land far away from the NPCs so they're not constantly mowing me down with their OP aimbot. For the guy with ballistic armor, I use my explosive sniper, a grenade launcher, and/or RPG to knock him down/shoot him to kill him. For the guy in a vehicle, I position myself in a spot where I can snipe the person driving, and then I proceed to blow up the vehicle. For the guy by a helicopter, I just snipe him with a regular sniper. Also, use a Sparrow to get around to each target, since it's a fast helicopter. That's my personal go-to vehicle for the disruption preps, demolition charges prep, and vehicle approach preps (excluding the Longfin prep). The other preps I just use my MK2 with my Kosatka beached on Vespucci Beach. These are methods I do in the heist. I hope this helps anyone.
I consider myself like the first start veteran when cayo Perico first game. I was doing heist left and right. Then I fell off because I had stuff to do. I’m learning some new ways tho
Has anybody been getting the bug when you start the hack on the communications tower it doesn't start and your character is just standing there? Is there anyway out of that beside find new session? (During Collect Intell)
