Hey Ash, just thought of a video idea: satiating fragrances that suppress the urge to buy more Sometimes I’ll get a fragrance and feel satisfied for quite a while. Sometimes I’ll get a fragrance that I’ll like but will still leave me with the feeling or needing another fragrance I like more.
I can't recommend Guerlain Vetiver enough, bought a massive 200ml bottle from Notino UK back in 2020 for £36 Inc delivery, an absolute steal for what I consider class in a bottle.
Same, just purchased a 200 ml. It’s a masterpiece in its composition. Not sure if it gets compliments, it just smells unique and the best Vetiver in my collection.
I really do make time for Guerlain Vetiver, it's an essential to own and wear. But my real Guerlain love, as has been for many, many years (since about 1997!) is Heritage. It's a timeless, classic scent that thoroughly deserves the mantle of "masterpiece" because it really is. It's been reformulated, of course, and comes in EDT and EDP variants nowadays and each are sublime. But I always keep a vintage bottle for special occasions. If you haven't tried Heritage, it's highly worth checking out. It's DNA forms the base for Danger by Roja, which makes Heritage suddenly look like immense value for money!
@@snortchgortch4253 Up until recently I was working in an office environment and I used to get quite a few compliments when I wore it, generally from Male management above me commenting on how classy it was and asking for more information about it.
Trussardi Riflesso really does go for next to nothing. Despite being a quality scent in a premium glass bottle (a little old school but still classy). I bought three 100ml bottles at £18 each (you don't need currency converter to know that's cheap). I kept one and gave the other two to my dad and brother. They enjoy it, I enjoy it and you will too.
@@sameold5050 Voyageur is my absolute favorite but on me it almost over performs. I dig it a whole lot but after a day with it I feel a bit worn out from the weird cobalty moss.
I have a few of these: 1. Trussardi Riflesso: It does smell like La Nuit D'lomme. Nice bottle design too. Performance is poor though. 2. Lalique Hommage a L'homme: A violet bomb. The intensity and dominance of the violet makes it unique. Two bottle designs: regular is inspired by a Lalique 1931 art deco series. A very, very expensive special edition bottle based on another Lalique classic design. 3. Kenzo Jungle: Nice scent, mediocre performance. 4. Guerlain Vetiver: THE reference Vetiver. Classic masterpiece. 5. Varvatos Vintage: I don't like it. OG with the date note is much better. A few other recommendations: 1. David Beckham Instinct 2. Oscar for Men 3. Paul Sebastian Fine Cologne 4. Any Lalique fragrance 5. Hanae Mori HiM 6. John Varvatos OG
Great list and I enjoyed it and I like Vince comato Terra and Azzaro Chrome Extreme and Guerlain vetiver and John Varvatos Vintage and I'm going to try the other fragrances and have a blessed day
Appreciate you including Halloween man, at number 10. Found this video literally searching for the most up to date alternative to PR’s 1 million. I’m loving your cheapie and beginner videos! If you have a video on how to most efficiently pick up fragrances at lowest price let me know. Currently I’m just cross referencing pricing on fragrantica and if I need to google shopping. Also I appreciate your discontinued or soon to be discontinued fragrance videos so I can pick up any goodies before they are gone. Thanks!
i just got a l'hommage gift set in the mail the other day...besides the fragrance itself smelling amazing, the presentation is the level of something costing 100s of dollars. i think i paid 30 bucks for a 3oz+ bottle with body wash
Can you put the name of the fragrance next to the FRAGRANCES FEATURED IN TODAYS VIDEO? Much easier to click the link I want rather than opening multiple links trying to find the fragrance I want. Yes, I'm sure they are in order but when I'm halfway through the video its hard trying to remember the order. Much easier to just put the name next to the link. As always, amazing video!
Hello Ash, how are you? Great job as usual. The LALIQUE Fragrances are really I have that one and white, Encre Noir. Trussardi is very nice. Thank you! Stay safe brother
Also getting chrome today in the mail. Lol. So glad i saw this video. Both Halloween man and Chrome extreme were blind buys after seeing other videos. Cant wait to see the package on the door today!!
One that's seriously under the radar and surprisingly awesome is Azzaro PH Cologne Intense! Worth a try way better (in terms of a fresh scent) than the new Chrome EDP in my opinion
I love these cheap lists because i am cheap lol. Please do more. Here is an idea Ash. Every week, do a video about 5 best fragraces of a house. I know you have video like 5 best Armaf fragrances. Please do more
I didn't know there was an in between in regards to Versace Homme and Allure Sport. Smells too close to me. Might as well put Bleecker Street in there too. It's getting old buying fragrances this smell 85% to a bunch of other ones out there. I should probably go broke and start hitting the niche lines I guess..
Do you know I went today to find Terra and it’s listed for as high as 135.00 I thought I made mistake cuz you said 15.00 so even at department stores it 85.00. Found it at fragrance net for 25
You should check out air tiger and orange flamingo by marc gebauer...! 100% at least one of the two will blow you away! greetings from germany.! love your chanel
One far day in the far far future the english-speaking reviewers will stop butchering the brandname Versace and stop saying "versageeeeee" and finally say it correctly ("versacheh") .... i deeply believe in this 🙇♂️
@@sameold5050 I thought so,but you would still expect them to do reviews on them telling us that, became they definitely have it themselves, I mean I know its a popular fragrance but most fragrance experts advise you not to buy creed aventus but they'll still do there reviews on it,jo malone in it's own right is very popular atleast in UK it is not sure about the other countries tbh.
