Lmao I completely agree with the "don't resign too early" Today in school I was playing against three players who've been playing for three years and i just had my king left. They were saying I already lost but I didn't give up and it ended in stalemate! Pure luck but really taught me a valuable lesson XD (Edit: Valuable lesson 2 I gave up. I don't play chess anymore XD)

if youre fighting people in real life its kinda cringe to not resign when youre losing... because youre essentially just annoying them. But youre a child so I dont really care
@hell594

@@LittleOne444 Really? I thought it was good sportsmanship to give it your all even when you're loosing. Man am I annoying!?! I'm sorry for that!

A Grandmaster would say:If I were you I would resign,stop being stupid.💀💀💀💀💀💀💀👎👎👎👎👎

@@hell594 you just proved my point. Chess isn't football buddy, because in chess, YES it IS bad sportmanship to not resign when you're losing

The right answer is always... BLUNDER ON THE NEXT MOVE!!! But at least I can add the "Create checkmate threat to prevent passed pawns from queening" to my chess knowledge

Especially at low levels like where I’m at I would recommend never resigning until checkmate basically
@chessscape
@chessscape 6 месяцев назад
yes i agree. as the level increases you can get to resign a bit more in totally lost positions with no hope to come back

I gave a knight and a rook in two moves while in an endgame leaving me with just another knight and rook but I converted it to a win

In the puzzle with the two knights playing Nf6 without the king move is an immediate checkmate due to the fact that the rook is pinned.

chesscape, you made a mistake. in your third puzzle, kg7 isn't the fastest way to checkmate. Nf6 is immediate checkmate because your rook is pinning the other rook.

Hi, I noticed that the puzzle in 2:41, you could just go Nf6# checkmate, since the rook is pinned!
