I know it wasn't Batman, but Superman covering for him while Bruce is missing in the cartoon was great, Dressed as Batman, he just destroys Bane in front of several other Batman villains.
batman threatened Darkseid with the destruction of Apokolips by cracking into highly advanced alien tech and putting a timer on all the hellspore weapons each capable of planet obliteration just to have Darkseid release Kara
One of my favourite Conroy Batman lines from the DCAU: Villain: I didn't come alone! Batman: Wish I'd thought of that... *wall explodes behind him to reveal the Justice League* Batman: Oh wait. *smirks* I did.
Batman's mud fight against the mutant leader in Frank Millers' the Dark Knight Returns. Batman breaks the leader out of jail so he can fight him and sets up the fight in front of all of his mutant followers so that they can watch their leader get pounded into submission. Batman refers to the fight as surgery and he is the surgeon.
@@Sharpie2ish Frank Miller is brilliant. Batman's equivalent of "None of you understand. *I'm* not locked up in here with *you* . *You're* locked up in here with *me* ."
There was the time Terry McGinnis got into the Joker's mind in the Return of the Joker. Even though it's not Bruce Wayne, it's still Batman at the end of the day.
Terry's got a lot of Bruce in him, actually. Stubborn af, but unquestionably intelligent. Bruce told him "Joker loves to talk," and that's all Terry needed to know the Clown Prince of Crime has an ego to rival Lex Luthor's, and that is his most exploitable weakness. Which Terry proceeded to do. Amanda Waller would be proud.
I guess the only one I can think of is in the "Justice League" animated series episode "Injustice for all" part two. After Batman is captured by Lex Luthor's team which includes the Joker and is imprisoned in titanium cufflinks he steadily manipulates and causes conflict in the team with his words alone, and by the end of the episode when Joker tries to kill him he has already freed himself from the cufflinks saying he could have done that at any time and takes down Joker with hardly any effort.
I think Lex Luthor has had a few intellectual humblings by Batman. In DCeased, Luthor announces that he’s the smartest person on the planet. But then, he stops, and he confirms that Batman is still dead, before repeating the claim. 1) He knows Batman is smarter than him. 2) He admits it in front of everyone, including Superman. 3) He needed to confirm that Batman was **still** dead. As in, he hadn’t found a way to come back to life yet. I wish I could see the moment Luthor realizes just how much smarter Batman is than him.
Batman defeating the Electrocutioner with a single kick, showing off that just because you have a gimmick doesn't mean you're tough enough to take on the Bat.
When Batman beat A-mortal and hung him up with I know your secret written on his chest for the rest of the white Martian’s to see I literally got chills down my spine bc of how badass it was
Batman’s dialogue to Superman in the dark knight returns, right after he beats Superman down following the kryptonite gas arrow, was truly savage. “I want you to remember Clark. In all the years to come, in your most private moments, I want you to remember, my hand at your throat, I want you to remember, the ONE man who beat you.”
In Batman : The Dark Knight video game, I love this ending where Batman fights joker in his mind and ends up resisting to Scarecrow's toxin. Then he just says : ' Im not afraid". Found that pretty cool
What about Batman owning Green Lantern in Justice League #1 snatching his ring off with Hal Jordan saying “you won’t do that again” and Batman says “Only if I want to” 💪🏾🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🔥🔥🔥🤛🏿
My favorite one was that one crook who got beat up by Batman, and when that same crooks sees Batman in a room, he just closes the door without telling anyone.
The Hell-Bat Armor is Batsy's best suit. An underrated suit is Batman's Arctic Suit that he wore in last year's Norse/Viking themed "Endless Winter" event. Fur Lined Hooded Long-Coat to replace the cape and main color was gray instead of black
I personally love "Injustice for All" in the Justice League show where, bound tight, he none-the-less manages to put the entire Injustice League at each other's throats, call for help with a mouthful of water, escape, and slap the crap out of the Joker.
Episode 34 of Justice League - Maid of Honor where The Kasnia thug says "You can't understand a word I'm saying and I wouldn't tell you anything if you could". Where Batman replies "I can... and you will". Great batman moment where he that thug is probably wetting himself. Even so he wasn't a major villain, he was definitely humiliated. Plus, the scene is just one of the best.
Amanda Waller: "Safeties" *Guns get pointed at Batman by CADMUS personnell* *Justice League Stands behind him looking down at Waller* Batman: Mine's bigger...
Oh my gosh, this sneak peek dead. Saw it as a kid, and it was so disturbing, it never left my mind. Though I never could remember from where it was. Always thought it happened in the animated superman show... huh... never guessed it was from batman beyond. Well thanks I guess, for giving me the chance to finally see this scene again after so many years.
The White Martian beatdown was epic and perfectly written, it should be stupid Bats being able to takedown Superman level beings but the way Morrison wrote it and set it up made it perfectly logical.
Nearly his entire rogues gallery and the Arkham Knight's militia to the point even after being unmasked a majority of them can't believe Bruce Wayne kicked their asses
Hahaha I’m glad you were kidding because as I was reading it I’m like, “oh god this is just the worst kind of comic fan. He thinks your not allowed to like DC and Marvel.” Comic fans can be pretty toxic. They’re outdone only by Star Wars fans. So if you ever meet a Star Wars Comic fan you turn and run!!
Justice League: New Frontier. Batman meets the Martian Manhunter for the first time in the Manhunters apartment. Batman of course has to deliver a threat in case he turns out to be the bad guy. Batman tells him, “I’ve already spent millions on a green rock from space for the one in Metropolis, but you? All I’ll need is a penny for a book of matches.” Then just leaves the Manhunter in a cold sweat.
Batman taking out Prometheus by having oracle force him to switch to a backup helmet which bruce had modified to download the motor control of stephen Hawking, thus making him unable to fight back was amazing. What was better was the one-liner he gives when Prometheus says Batman cheated in which bruce says "Not cheating, Winning."
Much rather be a villain then Batman’s coworker. What he said to Martian Manhunter, for you all I need is a penny for a box of matches, is BY FAR the most ego crushing thing ever lol
