They have been cutting back on training new doctors for a few years now. Tap on a clip to paste it in the text box. The idea is to replace them with a stand in, less trained., this leaves the fulkyvtesined doctors in a precarious situation, if anythng goes wrong they are held responsible. Many doctors retired early, others left to work abroad. Politicians are to blame not our hard working doctors.

I had high blood pressure? Apparently the Thyroid meds, dose was too high > high pressure !! Which elevates cholestorol so I was prescribed a pill which opens the Arteries , allowing more Cholestrol to be stored therein...When stopping the Blood pressure pill because of its side effect is causing kidneys to mal function ie.No wee wee Just water retention , Swelling both legs & feet...On stopping the meds, Arteries go back to their normal size , cept they're laden wiv cholesterol, so there's actually every chance of a heart attack !! Prescribed meds xx

Cholesterol from animal fat has nothing to do with heart attacks or heart problems. You find fire fighters at a fire. But that doesn't mean they started the fire. This is the same with cholesterol. Cholesterol is there fixing a problem. But the problem wasn't caused by cholesterol. Stay away from sugars, wheets, oats, seed oil, and all processed food and drinks.

Totally agree.... High Cholesterol? Here... take these Statins.... they won't do anything for you other than give you uncomfortable side effects... Doctors... high cholesterol doesn't mean you're broke... so don't try and fix it 😉

@daw7773
@daw7773 6 месяцев назад
Both compounds contribute to artery blockage ….cholesterol create the “sticky” substance that adhere to the artery walls(e.g. heart artery, carotid artery) and calcium is one of the substances that stick to the cholesterol and form a “blockage” that will reduce blood flow(circulation). For example, a complete coronary artery blockage will cause a heart attack.

Cholesterol is a very poor marker for heart disease, 75% of heart attacks occur in patients with low cholesterol. Cholesterol has many benefits demonstrated by side effects of statin drugs that reduce cholesterol. Statins cause cognitive and memory problems (the brain has 25% of cholesterol in the body), statins increase diabetes ( cholesterol is in every cell membrane providing fluidity and transport function of molecules like insulin), statins affect muscle function, statins increase liver and kidney damage. Cholesterol is the precursor of oestrogen, testosterone, vitamin D, bile and cortisol.
@gainsbourg66

High cholesterol in most people is usually harmless, and some studies have found it is beneficial. Yes, cholestorol may be present when there is tissue damage but that doesn't mean it is causal. That's like saying that because police are found at crime scenes they are responsible for the crimes.
