I missed watching these videos. Me and my mom used to watch this channel together all the time when we were planning our trips. When she passed away, I quit watching for a while and I quit planning a trip for a while. But I know her and she would not want me to stop going to Disney World. So I'm back to planning a trip and it exciting but also bittersweet.

@VegasFlyboy
@VegasFlyboy 4 года назад
Yeah I was about to post something to this effect as well. I know for a fact these performers have cooling vests. I've worn mascot costumes before, and there are cooling vests with different types of frozen pack inserts you can put in them that last quite a while depending on the environment you use them in. The one I own is from a company called EZ Cooldown and they're quite popular if a bit pricey. Totally worth it in the summer months. Literal life saver. The technology isn't new, as race car drivers have had a much bulkier version of this kind of thing for years and years where ice water circulates through a worn vest with tubes in it from a fairly standard small ice chest like you would take on a camping trip.

Well, that's understandable. ORIGINALLY, Disney fought to get their hands on the rights to the franchise but talks with JK Rowling went very sour. Bob Iger showed zero interest in Harry Potter (biggest business mistake in the entertainment industry yet!!) and was obsessed with getting his hands on Pixar. They also fought bitterly to get the movie rights but Warner Bros. wouldn't budge. There's a whole video about this and it's hilarious how Disney kept shooting themselves in the foot...

Yes!!! So many people look at me funny when I say it's a waste of money if you don't do your research beforehand! I spent the 6 months before the trip watching every DFB video to find what food I like, what I want to try, where it is and then made a plan around all of our fast passes!! Yes I was that obsessed but i went to 98% of the rides (100% on the ones I wanted to go) and even did them more than once and never really waited more than 45 mins, in fact most were 25-30 mins max. Sadly too many people look at the maps and are deceived by the park layouts not realizing that you can walk 14 miles just to see the property of MK and except for HS each of the other parks also. The size of the parks are just very special and unless you are tracking your steps you will not realize how far you have walked in one day EXCEPT that you are exhausted by the time you leave. Heat can be an issue but there are plenty of spaces to escape and cool down shops , dining , and many of the ride ques are air conditioned to help. Was there October 2020 and even though some things aren’t open yet NO WORRIES. If you are traveling from out state be aware that Florida gets rain daily so , pack a poncho because you will get rain. Just try not to over pack your schedule so you can relax and enjoy your stay.

AJ, I would respectfully disagree that Disney is not tracking you. In January 2020 my family stayed at the All Star Movies Resort. Upon checking in the room was HORRIBLY dirty. We called the front desk and somehow that led to getting texts from a supervisor. She asked us if they could come clean the room. We agreed since we were leaving to go to Disney Springs. As we were returning from Disney Springs I started getting text messages like, "They are coming back to the room right now! Have you checked the room???" Took me a while to figure out this was the supervisor who was meaning to text the custodial manager I guess. Sure enough when we returned to our room at 9:30PM there was a male custodian in our room frantically cleaning. He was freaked out, we were freaked out and I was more than angry. So somehow that supervisor DID know that we were returning to our room and when. That means they could and did track us. Doesn't mean Disney is tracking everyone, but obviously they can. Very creepy. And to come back to a room with someone in it I told them was not only unprofessional but dangerous. In the end we received 3 free FastPasses for each guest for3 days which we appreciated. But I've heard this myth a few times that "Disney can't or isn't tracking you" and I'm afraid that is a myth.

One lie I can definitely confirm to be a lie is the one about nobody being declared dead on Disney property. Not long after the Mickey and Friends parking structure was built in 2001, a man shot himself during the fireworks in the structure. A custodial cast member found the body later that night. They brought in the Orange County coroner and he was declared dead in the structure. Sad, I know, but my buddy in custodial told me about it after he got back from his mandatory vacation after the event.

Well the main parks (Disneyland park at each location and the magic kingdom) are quite similar, with the structure of main street, castle and lands, the lands themselves that often have the same titles and similar designs and of course duplicated classic rides. If you only see some pictures and hear stories you are likely to think they are pretty much the same. New subscriber here- Thanks for making these videos Growing up in the mountains of North Georgia, Disney World always seemed like a playground for the rich kids. A couple of years ago, at my brother's wedding, I was mortified when a presumably wealthy Californian woman found out I was from Georgia and assumed that I had been to Walt Disney World as many times as she had. It still seems pretty far-fetched, but watching these videos makes disney feel possible for the first time.
