i ate an edible (THC) and watched this video.. holy cow dude, that headshot on the coyote had me trippin, i cant rewinding it to see if it was a headshot, damn. 3:36
Beautiful country! Looks like a fun place to call dog. Tough calling here in the southeast where I am. Lots of thick places with short close range shots. Good video ........keep it up 👍🏻
You had one miss but you still got him and you're right that was an awesome hunt and I wish I could have been there with you that would have been totally awesome I've got quite a few small game under my belt but I would love to have a couple of coyotes under my belt keep up the good work gentleman
4:00 Synchronised shooting is an established sniper technique enabling shooters to take out multiple targets at the exact same time. If you go shooting in pair you should deliberately practice synchronized shooting and not leave it to chance to make it happen.
Geoff, your explanation as to your tactics and thoughts are nice to hear. It helps those of us that enjoy the hunting, but don't know much about it. Thank you for the videos! Keep 'em coming!!
to the Anti-2nd liberals do you remember the comment that the AR platform is not a hunting rifle or has no use as a hunting rifle? well =here is a prime example of the best TOOL for the job. Nice hunt gentlemen!
Amen Louis..... iv has it with these ignorant virtue signaling nit wits..... I think human life trumps animal life within reason. Shooting freaking coyotes is perfectly reasonable....
They're getting thick in northern va. After my friends dogs everyday. I'm going out after them with a crossbow. Got 1 already. Any tips to get them close?
@Mountain Rider especially since the numbers of rabid and distemper are rapidly climbing. The one bow hunter hit his attacker up close with two arrows, knife stabs...Kept on si a slice to the throat. Wtf they eating to keep attacking? Not good.
Some people feel sorry for coyotes ..... don't because there are a lot of videos on youtube showing how pets are attacked and I am sure they would eat a 2 year old child as well. Where I work we have them and every time I get under a rail car to hook up steam and unloading hoses I listen carefully so I don't get attacked. I live work near the downtown area in a city of 700,000. And also keep in mind they haven't always been here. I was hoping once they ate all the wild food they would leave but they haven't.
Since I have only started seeing them three years ago (Hamilton, Ont) I think they are invasive. They are also living in High Park (Toronto, Ont) last time I have heard.
Wow!",, wish I'm with you sir' hunting those coyote's",, first time to watch coyote hunting",, it caught my interest",,.I think",, it's also fun",,--- I'm from the Philippines",,
EddieTruth yes...you did mention how you want to punch people in their face and in were I live it has a very low rape rate, I understand you feel humans are more dangerous than coyotes but I'm talking about that hunters don't just kill them for money. Just imagine if hunters didn't hunt coyotes, you will see how bad things get without them.
Did the Farmer who worked so hard check into some Coyote education? The coyotes will ALWAYS come back. If one can manage 1 pair of coyotes, they will keep all the other ones out of his ranch. If you have a pair that doesn't attack his Flock, and kill them, the NEXT pair that move in MAY ATTACK all of his animals. I love my freedom, love the ability to hunt and manage wildlife.... but people need some education on the matter.
+Eddie Antihunter No, you're still a dumbfuck. Farmers that overcrowd are few and far between, and that produces less milk. Happier cows and chickens produce more eggs. This is not a secret. You have no fucking clue what you're talking about, you just watch PETA documentaries and lap up their moronic brainwashing.
Hunting them is fine with me. Best yote is dead yote. Nw Indiana packs are travelling down RR trails behind homes. How to protect my small leashed pet. One stalked me and then the howl. 630pm. Firsty for me! I am now taking her to hospital area to pee. No open field, constant people, lighting...what the eff else can i do?
Barbara S Im in Indiana too and live in the middle of a corn field. I hear them every night and last year they attacked our dog but luckily she survived and had to be stitched up. Only thing you can do is keep a pistol on you with a light when taking them outside.
My boss just bought me a revolt for helping him finish a big job went to work today and a revolt was sitting there with my name on it on my way home I stopped on the side of a gravel road and called 2 coyotes in they were jumping up and down trying to see where they sound was coming from man I can’t wait I’ll winter
What weapons and caliber do you Hunters use or recommend ?....I'm a Bolt Gun kind of guy. Thinking very seriously about setting up a 22-250 with a 1-9 twist for the Task of coyote hunting .
EddieTruth they are getting to close to my family and pets also killed have show pigs so i'm trying to protect my animals .in waterloo,IA they run in packs of 20-80
If you knew anything about Zion you would understand what they protect and not be so judgmental of things that you know nothing about and people you don't know. --Shalom berakhah ve-tovah, bshem Yeshua HaMashiach tsidkenu, HaMelech melachim†
Non-hunters don't understand: kills that aren't clean hurt my heart as much as they do the heart of an anti-hunter! I do my best to ensure a clean kill, and a rapid follow-up in the event that I can't drop the animal instantly. I've been looking at getting into the predator pest control game. A few decent hunting days a year justifies a .308 + suppressor rig expenditure :)
Im a raging liberal and my favorite past time is snuffing yotes with my Hatsan 25 cal air rifle. I live in Ca where you cant use shit to your advantage. I.R. Silencers are a felony. However, you can use silencers, I.R. on an air rifle. The best part is the sound a 50 grain slug makes on impact. SMACK!!
I made an egregious error.... you are so correct. My God! I am indeed a moron.... Yup.... iv tried so desperately hard to hide this from the world . In fact, I am a believer. I am going to protect coyotes now. Thank you so much
Coyotes are cute and adorable to look at. With that said, stay away from them. They will eat your cats, dogs, children, lambs, calves, foals, fawns, pheasants, etc., etc. Coyote overpopulation puts them in conflict with everything. We both purposely and inadvertently feed them with everything from our livestock to our pet food (and pets!). Homo sapiens sapiens are the coyote's only real predator. Numbers are watched and bag limits change. Hunting of this type is one of our more successful efforts at keeping nature "natural" and without an overburden of mangy, starving coyotes in areas their prey no longer exists due to their presence. We don't have a choice. Nature cares not for the feelings of the few.
