Great progress Poppy! I agree with all! I've been on a similar process also trying to do a cutting phase for my wedding, 6.7kg lighter over the last 13 months. Slow & steady wins the race with this work :)
Wow, what a fantastic transformation, you look healthy & strong! 😍❤️ I’ve been a weight loss nutritionist for over 15 years, & I confirm that the last 10lbs are the toughest to lose… both physically & mentally! The new healthy habits you’ve built to support you on your journey are awesome, thanks for sharing your inspiring success story! 💃 Big hello from Canada! 😊🇨🇦
Just the video that I needed. I am in my mid 30s and has totally neglected my health since the pandemic hit after moving abroad to work. Thank you for this important reminder ❤️
This is important because you always see MAJOR weight liss journeys but for people who "seem" for even though you know you don't feel your best, it can be hard to find the motivation. Most people think your crazy when you want to lose fat and you are not obese. Keep up the great work!!
I just discovered your channel and immediately felt so inspired and comforted. As someone who has been struggling with weight loss my entire life since puberty hit, I am trying to incorporate feasible habits that would not overwhelm me on top of other priorities. Would be interested in what you eat for a day/week for some inspos. Love your content ❤
Wish I had seen this video earlier, because there is a lot of useful information you provided. I decided to even watch it twice in a row. I know it's been a few months since you made this, and you've probably increased your skill level in taking care of yourself since then. Regardless, you've given me some great ideas to alternatives to white rice. I usually eat a cup a day, and I've decided to switch to brown rice. But I hadn't thought of other things like broccoli rice or cauliflower rice. If I can prepare it quickly then I'm willing to make the change. BTW those brownies look good haha. Thanks again for the sage advice.
Tbh I’m here because I am on 4 different medications for mental health stuff and it made me gain 20 pounds in 1 month and 40 pounds in total in 3 months😍
I must say, your dedication and perseverance are truly awe-inspiring. It's almost as if you were on a snail's pace weight loss journey, meticulously savoring every ounce of progress. Four months for 10 pounds? That's the kind of progress that would make a sloth proud! But hey, slow and steady wins the race, right? Who needs instant gratification when you can prolong the agony and make weight loss a never-ending saga? I'm sure the tortoise would be proud of your turtle-like progress. Cheers to your remarkable ability to stretch out a weight loss journey like no other!
LOL not sure you even read the title. I said FAT not weight. Losing weight is easy, pure fat, not so much. And yes I'm very proud of my journey. You go enjoy yours!✌️
@@reinventingpoppyLosing weight and losing fat are often used interchangeably and can be considered the same thing in many contexts. When people talk about losing weight, they usually mean losing excess body FAT rather than losing muscle mass or water weight. When we talk about weight loss, it refers to a reduction in overall body weight, which can include a combination of FAT, muscle, water weight, and even organ weight 😉
For sure some people might! But as said in the video, for me it was pure fat while preserves muscle mass which does not come easy at all for a 37 year old woman!
I've never seen 'Ultra Processed' on the list of ingredients of any product. Id like to know what the specific ingredients in ultra processed foods are supposed to be harmful? I don't know who told you that sugar was poison but they were wrong whoever they are. I prefer to listen to food scientists rather than nutritionists.
Ultra processed isn't an ingredient itself but more of how the food is being processed with many different chemically engineered ingredients added that you don't even know what they are as explained in the video. These have worked for me but you do you boo ❤
@@reinventingpoppy Milk that you buy at the supermarket is ultra processed and it's good for you, while unprocessed raw milk can be extremely bad for you. There are a lot of scare stories around about ultra processed food backed up with very little scientific evidence as far as I can see. There are lots of foods that are composed of things that you don't know what they are. Would you eat this? INGREDIENTS: WATER (75%), SUGARS (12%) (GLUCOSE (48%), FRUCTOSE (40%), SUCROSE (2%), MALTOSE (
