Very well done!! Going there soon and have picked up some great tips.. thank you. 🙏 One thing sprang to mind.. in Croatia they forbid anyone entering the conserved pools due to contamination from us mucky humans.. it was lovely that you could swim in them but also quite pleased many people opt out.. just food for thought. Great journey and looking forward to my hols 😁
Amazing video. May I asked you when do you visited Madeira? I’m planning to visit the Island with my bf around October- November. We are concerned about the weather… any advice?? Thank you 😊
Thank you, it was July and there was crowds in obvious places like the sunrise walk but if you go early enough you'll generally beat the crowds. I'd highly recommend hiring a car, they were expensive but more than worth it to get to places before everyone else. The roads are narrow at places but generally alot better than you might think. Have fun
Excellent tour of this paradise island. I will be visiting soon. Any chance of providing a link to where you stayed in that beautiful place with the pool?
I know at the end you said the roads were pretty easy to drive… I am visiting Madeira with my husband next month and hope to do the sunrise hike from Achada do Teixeira to Pico Ruivo. Was it hard driving those roads in the dark? Great video, btw. It came up as a suggestion for me because I have been binging Madeira videos for months now. 😅
The roads were fine in the dark, street lights are used on the popular roads so shouldn't be a issue. When we went they were redoing the road up to Teixeira so was very gravelly and bumpy but they might have finished now, it looked like the road was closed but we just kept driving up and reached the car park. Have fun, it's a great island with lots to do.
Thank you for your kind words, it's a side of the island not many see when they stay in funchal so I'm glad I could explore. I honestly can't remember the music as it's from epidemic sound I'll see if I can dig it out for you.
Wouldn't recommend our car company, took a while to get the deposit back. It was very expensive so unless you're out of season expect to pay a fair bit. Thanks for the watch!
It's my understanding that as long as youre flying a normal class drone, not in vicinity of airport no licence is needed. Drone identification stuck to the body might be needed which I had.
@@OliOutdoors Normally, there are a few things to keep in mind. Special features in Portugal: Creating aerial photos About land The above rules apply to drone use per se. However, if your drone has a camera, you need special permission from the Autoridade Aeronáutica Nacional (AAN). It does not matter for what purpose the recordings are made. You can submit the applications via the e-AAN portal, where you should register in good time. Once you have created your account there, you will receive an e-mail with a declaration that you must sign and return to the AAN by mail. Only then will your account be activated. So far, this has worked quickly for our readers. Afterwards, you can add pilots and drone(s) in the portal. You will be asked for a lot of data, which you should enter as well as possible. You will also be asked for a registration number. In Portugal, the registration of drones from 250 grams is foreseen, but this will be done in conjunction with another platform that does not yet exist. Until the introduction, the field can be filled in with N/A or Não Aplicável, according to an information sheet from the AAN. Now you can submit requests for your flights via e-AAN. About water If you plan to fly over waters (sea or lakes) or on the beach, you must contact the Portuguese Marine Autoridade Marítima Nacional (AMN) and get permission there. Unlike the AAN, some AMN agents charge a fee for issuance (probably around 20 euros in most cases). Website of the Autoridade Marítima Nacional (AMN): www.amn.pt
Hello, now it was a nice holiday video, but I'm not a fan of the cinema look that makes the colors even darker and doesn't reflect the real thing! You have been with YT for a long time but still film in Full HD which would be ok, but some of the recordings look more like HD to me. Stop by us because I am expressing criticism so that you understand that it is justified from our point of view. Our Madeira Magic series is not finished yet and so far has three parts. It will continue from January 2022!
Thanks for the comment. I'm very much an amateur, it's the best I can do. I use a very amateur editing app so can't so much on it. I have a full time job and this took me ages, thanks again.
