woohoo new setup letsgoo the version with music. watch without music here - • 10 days of fall skatin... shot mostly on the fuji x-s10, with some parts done on the canon c100 mk2.
I really enjoyed this type of format. It was like a movie/vlog type vibe to me, which I really like ! Have fun on your dragons (the pink soulplates look gorgeous btw).
Man, the filmography of this was off the charts, your angles, scenery and pacing was on point. This might be your best video yet. I also have the UFR and it hurts so bad :/
You put your parts in a bowl? A bowl! I've been skating for decades, I can't tell you how many wheels and bearings I've gone through, and never once did I think to put that in a bowl so they don't roll around. I'm a f'n idiot. A bowl! 😆
Those NN frames look gorgeous. The black and pink looks cleans too. Got some Standard Omni vibes. Good luck with that bolt too. I’d try a hardware store or a skate shop if your lucky enough to have one in your area.
You can extract that bolt from your frame with a drill a metal drilling bit and a threading piece. If you have the right threading piece and the right bolt then it will come out.
Your skills are getting really good, I love your skating spots, am waiting to receive my dragon plus, excited to see how they go, I have a set of NN 90 mm wheels for my 4by 90 and have no issues with them, all good. And agree with the others here, the filmography is great.
Yayyyyy all that work you put in to it is paying off 👏👏👏👏 you're sliding like a knife of butter soooooo SMOOOOOOTH just please always wear protection and pay attention to the signs they warm you before Disaster struck Stay Doing what you love and always work on improving BELIEVE 💞👏👏👏👏
I’m sure you already have a job but I’m telling you, you would kill it in the film industry. Even consider hitting a casting call for acting or modelling.
Your flows and transitions are really smooth. The wizard skating is very solid as well. You make little mistakes here and there but it’s all good. Does anyone else inline skate in your town? You should do a flow video but you would need someone to follow and film you. You could definitely pick up way more viewers, the videos are great!
So far I'm really happy with them! Definitely slower than other setups with bigger wheels, but I feel more connected to the ground as well. Rough concrete is not very friendly in these, but smooth surfaces are extra nice
Great video. Too dang bad, was literally in ABQ last week for Thanksgiving with my Wizard setup… could’ve maybe connected for a sesh. Are you on IG also?
Have you ever tried aggressive skates, idk the style skating this is and no offense but i dont get it as a sport if it is considered a sport idk it’s sort of like figure skating on rollerblades without tricks ig, i recommend aggressive skate because it allow you to do way more shit.
The skates he’s using are aggressive boots (them 909) just with a rockered wizard style frame. This style of skating is wizard skating and these days it’s very common to see wizard skating and aggressive skating go hand in hand. A lot of aggressive skaters also love the wizard stuff, and a lot of the wizard skating tricks have massively influenced aggressive skating today.
You got a new subscriber ! Roller blades have been on my "to get" list for years now and im tired of putting it on the back burner, youve inspired me to focus on ordering some blades, any recommendations? Awesome vid 👌 ride strong brother
Hey there, the type of skating he's doing is called "wizard skating", and the three most popular boots for this in order are: 1) Seba CJ, 2) Them 909, 3) UFR. If you're more interested in normal recreational skating (basically just skating around without doing tricks), the most popular boot in this market is probably the FR series (e.g. FR1, UFR etc). And lastly there's a type of skating called aggressive, in which case the two most popular boots are probably the Them 909 and the Roces M12. There's many other sub-genres but I'd say recreational skating and aggressive are probably the two biggest. If you're just getting started and don't want to spend too much, the FR series is probably a good bet. I'd wager it's probably (overall) the best selling skate in the world. I hope that helps.
