I looked up the patent Mark Sullivan has for the Sullivan Generator, and oh boy, is it something. Here are some details I found interesting: • First of all, the patent never claims that it produces gold as a byproduct. Rather, it claims it can produce “useful co-products, such as clean water, clean air and mineral and organic precipitates.” In fact, the word gold never appears in the patent application at all. If he could prove that gold is a natural byproduct of the machine, he would almost certainly make note of it in the patent. So to the surprise of nobody, when he claims his machine can produce gold, he’s knowingly lying. • The entire thing is based on a patent granted in 1984…that does the exact same thing that the Sullivan Generator does. The Sullivan Generator is more specifically an adapted version of something from about a decade and a half earlier. • I say a decade and a half earlier because Sullivan filed his patent in 2001, meaning he had been sitting on the idea for a while before approaching the Sharks. To be fair, the patent was approved in 2003, but if I’m remembering correctly, he went into the tank after 2010. • He has exactly one patent with the U.S. patent office. When he says he has one thousand inventions making “over a billion dollars per year,” he’s knowingly lying.
I don't think that my dresses or any of my clothes would be able to cover anyone other than a baby, maybe a small small toddler, enough for them to sleep in it.
